101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 14, 2016, 05:43:48 AM
I let the first version of the miner run on ethermine. After 24h the pool reported 24h avg hashrate was above 31Mh. Then lowering to under 28...
Just variance or something else?

I just stopped the miner and re-run the latest version 1.2. We will see Smiley

102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.0 on: April 12, 2016, 11:14:24 AM
I'm still getting rejects on dwarfpool and all accepted on ethermine.

It would be nice to display the number of rejected shares(or accepted) at least for easyer troubleshooting Wink
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.0 on: April 11, 2016, 08:22:15 PM
Found the problem, for some reason it doesn't work with Miningpoolhub but works with Ethermine

Same story there... Dwarfpool all rejected eth shares, ethermine all accepted.

My command line:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F -epsw x -dpool http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -dwal Redhex.my -dpsw x

It works, so Dwarfpool is supported. Are you sure that it does not work for you?

I have tried dwarf eu and ru servers with almost all rejects. I have no idea why.
My bat(just removed dcr user and pass):
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x1e94b2163659fcc3da728c747ebffb8ac3bf360a.390 -epsw x -dpool http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -dwal xxx -dpsw xxx -dcri 35

edit:
The dwarf bat:
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-ru.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0x1e94b2163659fcc3da728c747ebffb8ac3bf360a/390 -epsw x -dpool http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -dwal xxx -dpsw xxx -dcri 35

The miner seems great so far. On my R9 390 at 1150MHz and -dcri 35 it makes 31.5Mh eth + 550Mh dcr. The power usage seems a little bit higher, I had to increase fan from 45 to 50% to keep the gpu at 70°C.
btw I'm using 2x 750ti in the same pc without any issues.

Claymore You are a genius Smiley

Spreadcoin sell side is pretty thin on bittrex. Anyone here looking to get out of more than20 BTC amount of SC?

I can sell You 10000SPR for 20BTC  Grin

Hey!
The cryptoID block explorer does not show my transactions anymore. The balance is correct but the transactions stucks on loading...
It happens for about a week now. Anyone with the same problem?

The other explorer spreadx.eu is not that usefull for me because it is not showing the exactly correct balance and there is no possibility to export the transactions. You can see only the latest 100 transactions...

0.1 I consider - a donation, beer money. Profit comes or not, who knows. Best was to mine some DCR and put high price ( 0.006 ) and wait...that made more than 0.1BTC :-). It's ( for me ) best to do with 980Ti (DCR, "4 ) profit-wise

980 and 980ti owners don't have ETH option. I would think twice what I do with mined ETH or DCR.

Why not? I own a 980 and it makes ~25MH mining eth. It makes around 0.53ETH/day=0.015BTC/day.  Power usage and temps are very low compared to so it can be fully overclocked. The other algos are close to my eth profit very rarely and consuming much more power.
I understand it can be frustrating making the same hashrate as an old amd 7970 but it is still most profitable for me.

Can anyone share with me the bat file of ethminer on gt970 and 750ti mixed system. i cannot coonfigure it proparly. Sad(

Forget about 750ti for ETH in windows. It's hashrate is around 2-3MH. It is only profitable in linux but also with much lower hashrate then some months ago.
You should mine something else with 750ti.

And don't forget to oc the memory aswell when mining ETH Wink

What about 970 's i can change the cards on rigs, and rebuilt the some of rigs with just 970's, if it's worth to do it Smiley)

970 makes a bit over 20MH(it depends on OC). Calculate the profits there: http://etherscan.io/ether-mining-calculator and reduce it by ~10% if pool mining.

My calculations shows bigger income mining eth...
Am I wrong?

+ lower power consumption and especially lower temps with lower fan speeds

Looks like big difficulty drop. Whats up with that?
Fire up the spreadminers folks!

I guess ETH is taking miners at the moment Wink

Since there is huge problems on cryptsy, is there any other trade market safe?
Thanks

Cryptsy is a joke but I'm not laughing because I have over 0.5BTC in pending withdrawals Roll Eyes Their support is also a joke... Always the same shitty responses.
I never had any single problem with bittrex on the other hand.

Hey!
The block explorer link in the first page of this topic is not working because it is https://spreadx.eu/ instead of http://spreadx.eu/  Wink
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: January 08, 2016, 11:34:41 AM

What SpreadCoin will offer is actually pretty huge.

If you've been keeping up with this thread over the past couple of weeks, you'll know that SpreadCoin will be bringing forth a data market upheld by Servicenodes. These Servicenodes will be linked to Bitcoin full nodes, which will parse through and analyze transaction data over the Bitcoin blockchain. Clients of Azure will be able to use the market portal to purchase a specified set of analyzed data (to their preference), such as data regarding activity of a specific Bitcoin address (and linking it to others), etc.

From what i see the project didn't even get to see the testnet, so my question is: Why the submission for a partnership with Azure when the project/documentation is not finished ? I don't get it...

Also, i see that the spreadcointalk forum is almost dead. The github dead as well, with just a few irrelevant commits.

Some people are just jumping the gun and getting overly excited or trying to get others overly excited about this project. Its time for people to take notice, but its still a long road ahead for any kind of significant jumps.

Some cool things are going on and some people are trying to hype things more than they should.

The devs are cool and always speaking about long term. The hype from some individuals or P&D groups is impossible to avoid. So who cares.

@chrysophylax
6x 980ti is not very common Smiley
My experience with h81pro btc + 8GB + G1820 is running incredibly troublefree from the beginning. I couldn't be happier. Both lubuntu(usb stick) and windows 7(sata SSD) runs perfectly without any issue. Even installing Win with all gpus allready plugged and using wifi usb dongle all the time.
The biggest difference from Your build is 980+3x970+960+750ti and all running from the same psu(LEPA G1600).
I have never plugged the molex connectors to the motherboard. It is meant to power the old(shitty) unpowered pcie risers.
I have forgot the exact bios settings, I think I set the pcie to gen1 instead of gen2 or 3 and switched off the integrated cpu graphics for sure.

We might have a different bios version on the mobo or it might be just 980ti using more resources.

On my other desktop motherboard(much more expensive one) I got many problems allready with 3 or 4 gpu's. I had to plug one by one and sometimes it didn't work until I changed the pcie riser... Very strange behavior.

Good luck  Wink

BTW I prefer Win7 x64 by far for mining.

Doesn't work in any of my rigs, probably a driver issue:

Code:

and when I issue a change in any of the cards:
Code:
root@room2:~# nvidia-smi -pl 60 -i 1
Changing power management limit is not supported for GPU: 0000:02:00.0.
Treating as warning and moving on.
All done.

 Sad
GPU are all 750Ti  (gigabyte and EVGA FTW)

Probably a driver issue or maybe it has something in common with coolbits 28...
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: January 05, 2016, 09:20:43 PM

are you saying that i can run under linux, before loading ccminer, a nvidia-smi sentence that will change in real time the TDP of every card??? WOW!!! I thought that the only way was modifying the BIOS!, do you have any link / tuto or hint how to?, I will get right on it!.

I just tried in windows and it works. I'm pretty sure it should work also in linux but cannot test it because I don't have a ready linux install anymore. Setting the core and mem clocks(+changing to p0) works exactly the same way on linux and windows. Tested on 960, 970 and 980.

Those are the commands:
nvidia-smi -q -d POWER -i 0 -shows the actual setting and possible settings limits

nvidia-smi -pl 180 -i 0 -sets the power limit of gpu 0 to 180W

The successfull result:
