101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting the record straight on: July 28, 2012, 09:20:43 AM
Who communicated to Danny Maddox through facebook and told him to come to the bitcointak.org forum in order to get answers?

This WILL determine if the supposed DannyMaddox post are true or false.

I know one of you on this forum who had Kelly Wu as a friend on Facebook.

Let's hear it guys....

Confirm it please.

One thing that doesn't make sense, as a side note, how did Danny Maddox know which people on Kelly Wu's FB were linked to this forum?

The only think I could think of is checking email addresses they signed up with...

RE:Etlas2

The post is 100% factual. I have a 20+ year history of integrity and spotless work history in Silicon Valley. Many people here know me and what is reflected in this forum and being attributed to me would be quickly dismissed by anyone who does know me. On the other hand Kaley Wu doesn't exist outside a fake FB profile and here on these forums. Anyone who can conduct background investigations will rapidly arrive at the same determination. I am not the person behind Kaley Wu.

Can you prove your claims in the original post? Like the phone call and bomb threat?

Also can you prove who you say you are as well?

+1

I hope and pray you are who you say you are, but this is the internet, and your story does seem to cover everything and it mentions the same thing a couple times which is indicative of a liar trying to convince people to believe them.

I also agree that if someone did call an 11-year old and started going on about stuff they shouldn't they deserve punishment along with the bomb squad call...I would hope no one is that stupid...but then again, this is the internet

Good luck, My previous attempts to sell Duct tape stuff here didn't yield any orders.  Cool
I figured it's worth a shot, anyway I have a few friends who want some, but they won't deal with Bitcoin and I'm trying to get them involved >.>

~reserved~

For whatever reason I may need in the future!
106  Economy / Goods / Duct Tape Work on: July 23, 2012, 12:50:58 AM
I used to play with Duct Tape all the time, I was a Duct Tape hipster... I had a Duct Tape Wallet before it was cool.

Anyway I also made Duct Tape Roses all the time, I figured I would do so again, this time for the Bitcoin Community!

With shipping I'm thinking about 1.4 BTC per Rose (It is actually a Pen as well so you can write with it!). If you want patterned tape it'll probably be about 1.6 BTC or so as the tape is more expensive.

I only had some Hello Kitty Duct Tape readily available so that is what I made my first one out of. I can get pretty much any solid color of Duct Tape, so don't hesitate to ask for specific colors. I can also get a cheap vase and Duct Tape it up and make a bouquet of Roses.

Anyway Pics (not many for now)!

107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get your first bitcoin? on: July 18, 2012, 08:47:40 PM
I mined my first Bitcoin! It was a great feeling, I only have one good graphics card, I'm going to wait for the ASIC's so I get about .1 BTC a day from mining

I just found out about GLBSE, I only had a few BTC left after some of my services so I put them into here!

Hello chris3spice,

Why not just trade at https://www.virwox.com/? Their volume is ~100K BTCs per month at the moment and I haven't heard of any complaints about them.

That's what I'm trying to not do, because their trading is much more expensive than trading on Mt. Gox or anything, I want to save people a little money if possible

Right now its Trading 1BTC for 1901L which is roughly $7.43 USD

After fees and stuff I make about 10 cents on bitcoin trades and I save you 100L instead of trading via Virwox

I will have some BTC coming in soon, I have a small line of people who are waiting

Cool idea. I like your small office.

Thank you! No need for a big office, I did set aside a big chunk of the building but it seemed to be useless space for me
114  Other / Beginners & Help / BTC/Second Life [Exchanger] on: June 15, 2012, 12:05:12 AM
I posted this in the services part of the board but I thought I would also allow the "noobies" to get in on it if interested...

I would love to offer my services as I'm on Second Life (SL through the rest of the page) quite a bit.

I know that you can trade via Virwox but that is really expensive, its 1$ more than trading other ways and you also have to calculate SL buying Fees into that equation and then you have to buy whole bitcoins and can't buy/sell parts of bitcoin via Virwox.

I would like to offer a solution to this problem. I will trade Lindens (SL Money) for Bitcoins and buy Bitcoins with Lindens.

I will use the bitcoin watch weighted average for calculating prices and will have a 3% Fee on that and when calculating then on the Linden side it's +6L to the current exchange rate (to make up for SL fees) this formula make you pay a little extra (but no where near Virox's exchange) and it makes me almost break even (I make about .15 cents per 1btc) vs the Weighted Average

Just pick up a notecard, fill it out and then put it in the dropbox!

You can visit my exchange office in SL at:
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Chalmun/142/147/60

Note:I DO USE MY ALT (saiyaman) ON SL FOR THIS, HIS AGE AND EVERYTHING IS FAIRLY NEW, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO CHECK MY SL ACCOUNT CHECK "Aaleyah Lovell"

Successful Trades:
-caradenada (SL: resistenciadigital)
-RankoMikogami (not on bitcointalk forum)

117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [Gauging Interest] Records on: June 11, 2012, 05:08:26 PM
I would love to see the full collection.

A google doc should be sufficient to show whether or not they're bought. (To save you some effort of making a Weebly. ;3)

Good Idea I will do that, I should get the records sometime this week so hopefully by this weekend I can have a list posted!
118  Economy / Marketplace / [Gauging Interest] Records on: June 10, 2012, 08:34:35 PM
Hello All,

My Grandma has around 150 records (at least) lying around in her garage, she is going to give them to me in order to get rid of them. I thought about listing them on Ebay and such, but then I thought why not support bitcoin!

I was thinking about 1.75btc for the records (includes shipping within USA) outside the USA it gets more expensive to ship so I'd have to have addresses to calculate the shipping

Most of the music is going to be country and gospel there are a few soundtracks I believe

If interested just reply, I will list some of the records later (once I receive them) and will probably setup a site on my weebly account for everyone to check.

Some Records:
Code:
Cleopatra - Original Soundtrack Album
Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 - Equinox
Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 - Crystal Illusions
Ronnie Milsap - Greatest Hits
Jim Reeves
Melissa Manchester - Home to Myself
Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture - Sound Spectacular
Andy Williams - Moon River & Other Great Movie Themes
Robert Goulet - Greatest Hits
Billy Vaughn - The Windmills of Your Mind
Night Love Bobby Hackett
The Quiet Sides of The New Christy Minstrels
Roger Williams - Greatest Hits
Ray Conniff - Love Affair

I have a LOT of books.  Wink

Seeing the Floppy Disk makes me want to get a whole bunch and put the Public Address on the outside then break it open and hide the private key on the inside. I love having "Physical" Bitcoins so I could make all kinds of 1btc and 5btc Floppies and feel rich as they pile up
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper Wallet on: June 09, 2012, 05:26:28 AM
I put my paper wallets in between two sheets of opaque paper and then laminate them and put them in a safe.

I thought about that but I didn't have any laminate around to run through my little laminator so I improvised :p
