0.0 = adaseb

Crazy that the difficulty isnt going up when the price went up 50%. Maybe everybody is busy mining ETH instead.

Calm before the S9 storm, 1st batch online within a few days and then 2nd batch shortly after. Also Bitmain will be putting them online as soon as off assembly line. So I think its a little like when S7 first started shipping, the 2 months after release we shot up 50%

What the heck, I'll put one in.

6.3+ =PPOC

So been sending more hash to the pool last 2 days, feels like trying to have a baby after getting a vasectomy! Keep trying but shooting blanks...... Anyone know if NH/WH has been finding blocks? Seams like after the upgrade they did, lots of empty hash there. I see people landing blocks with MRR, but have not seen anything from NH/WH.

wow, 300%. I think we paid the price, now time for a block! Starting to worry that we don't get 4-5 blocks before 1/2'ing and I've sunk a boat load into this round. Anyone know a 5-10Ph guy to come in for a bit and help us out of this rut?

Anyone who ordered an S9 ... words from a Bitmain employee
"so…my S9 doesn’t work on the pool"
"works on antpool"

Heh - oh well ... I guess it's expected that Bitmain would do something like that sooner or later ...

Really? Imagine if they really hard coded to only use antpool, that I hope would create a boycott.

@Claymore Just downloaded 4.4 beta 2, but windows defender identified it as a trojan. Previous versions were fine with AV, file identified was Trojan:Win32/Spursint.A!cl

Something new in this release

If it did, that would be the first block hit by one of sidehack's sticks ever, right?

Well a few of us have hit PPC blocks but they are only 35 usd .
My best share ever with a stick is 2.2 billion
I will rent over the next weekend I am waiting on some money from my Eth coin rigs.  I should hit for five eth coins today

Not using Nano any longer? I'm still kind of on Nano and also trying a small startup pool with zero fees till it grows larger. At 540mh now and 660mh by end of day tomorrow. Building another rig tonight.

Every known stratum version is now supported directly at eth.cncoin.farm. Claymore's miner supported using -esm 0 1 or 2 Smiley. Can I get more people testing to verify it works ok for you?

Note: Pool fee will go to 1% after we hit the next block and it pays out.

Are you the operator of CNcoin.farm? 430% wow. Figured I'd give it a try and stuck in this crazy 2+ days round
Don't see anything wrong. I've been testing everything and mining testnet blocks all day. I see nothing wrong with the pool, but no block. I'm going to revert the updated stratum code and count this as a huge failure. Sorry to waste everyone's mining!

Yea, wow. I hung in there for 646%. almost 4 days where I would have made 20+ ETH on another pool. Do you have your own thread for the pool? It would be good to know there was testing going on or at least some updates etc. I like to support smaller pools but a 4 day experiment is hard to swallow.

Thanks,

you know what it is Kano.is has 9 blocks for the day..... i wish we had a streak like that....

Yea, thought I'd learn my lesson here. Last time I spent 10BTC on rentals, Kano also had a 9/10 block day. When it rains it pours.... A few days ago I did a few more coin in rentals and that day my hw hit 2 back to back blocks on Kano. Is the universe trying to tell me something? Beginning to think NH/WH is full of empty hash.

plus i have a weird feeling this block is gonna go over 230% expected shares  Sad

I wish it was only 230%!!!! Lets prey its no more then 235%

The spike is astounding in its magnitude.  We went from a pretty much flat/negative diff change to over 3.5% in a night.

If someone really put that much hash online, should have waited 48 hours for the adjustment and ride the diff for another 12 days.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.3 (Windows/Linux) on: May 22, 2016, 06:54:21 PM
Anyone have luck getting Win10 to detect 3 X 295x2? I have 2 running fine (4 GPUs), tried to add a 3rd for a total of 6 GPUs using a powered riser but will not detect the 2 additional GPU's and looking at the win logs, looks like its crashing on loading the driver for the additional card. So device manager also shows the 4 GPUs that are working. Power not an issue, using multiple EVGA's 1300's

BTW, I have tried the 15.12 drivers and also the newest drivers, no luck PC still only recognized 2 cards (4 GPUs). Tried both on-board and using powered PCIe extensions, same result. Any ideas?

Who's making money paying .0035+ for hash? I see solo is a little over 4Ph, maybe trying luck there but these prices are insane. But thats only 4PH, there is over 10PH over .0035 right now. New SHA256 coin? any clues?
The hardware owners.  Right now they're averaging about 140% of expectations, even after the 3% NH takes off the top.  Oh, and of course NH makes their cut (3% from the renter and 3% from the owner).

Well yea, forgot to state that owners are making out. Was just thinking how can anyone renting make money. Maybe Kano should send all the pool hash to NH and guarantee all miners 37% over PPS. Haha. I'm surprised that at these prices there is not 50ph for sale now.

Slightly OT....

The rentals on WH are going crazy!
I started my small 30TH rental pointed at Kano @ .0028 and stopped chasing the price upward just now @ .0032. Lots of people renting 100's and even 1,000's of miners all the way up to .0042!! Crazy.

I quit. Just gonna let my order sink along with my 5N  Angry

BTW, anyone know if the top miner - at 11 PH - is a rental or a farm? Just curious.

Let's find some blocks!!!

mines been at .0028 im not taking it any higher its been offline for about 4-5 hours

I'm taking mine back down to .0028 also and just let it sit. Maybe it will get some action overnight once some of the BTC's are burned up.
I normally don't go as high as .0032, but just wanted to add 30TH to my three S7's in hopes of a weekend run.
Oh well, I'm currently blasting away @ 13.81 TH Wink
I can smell my block from here! Smiley

Yeah the rentals are out of control right now. I had things down at .0025 at some points yesterday, won't go above 0.0027-28 max. Just never seems to work out. Not only that but today is the first time in MONTHS that my S3 has "failed up" to NH. I have it set to only hash there when the rate they pay is absurdly high.

I feel like someone is trying to raise everyone's rental rates so that's why this is happening. If prices haven't dropped in a few hours I'm gonna have to go into my S3 and manually switch it back to Kano.

Who's making money paying .0035+ for hash? I see solo is a little over 4Ph, maybe trying luck there but these prices are insane. But thats only 4PH, there is over 10PH over .0035 right now. New SHA256 coin? any clues?

Set up two identical rigs, one with the latest catalyst drivers and one with the recommended v15.12, it would seem after 24 hrs that the v15.12 drivers are outperforming the latest drivers.

Cards are R9 Nano's.

..is this the expected result?

Yep read the first post he tells you to use 15.12

I have run both 15.12 and the latest drivers on 5 rigs, all running R9 295x2 cards. Some with 2 cards (4 GPUs) and other with 1 card (2 GPU's) Have been running for a few days on each driver version using CMD. I don't see any hash difference in the local stats or the pool. No crashes and have rigs 5% OC's.

I think the 15.12 drivers work better for older cards, not that I have any to test that but just a theory. Anyway, no difference for me on 295X2 cards.

If u find a block, it doesnt mean that for some time your odds are lower. U dont gather up the work to get sometimes paid or have to be 100% online to hit the right moment, the probability of findinga a block is still the same whether u did find one minute ago or not. So devfee does nothing but lowers ur effective hashrate. But of course its hard to believe if u see the hit in "wrong" time with your own eyes.

Other then checking Geth main account balance, or monitoring your wallet address. Any other way to see you found a block? will anything show on the console or a Geth command that may show blocks solves or possible solves?
