102  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Zeta Bitcoin Mining - Perpetual Mining Bond on: May 17, 2012, 06:47:07 PM
Update: external mining contract signed

I turned off nearly all my GPU based mining rig (left only the controlling PC active with 1.8GH/s) to keep ambient cold for the BFLS. GPUs will not be considered for expansion any more, I'll fully concentrate on FPGAs hereafter.

To back the bonds with real mining power, I reached an agreement with an established miner to provide me 6GH/s+ (FPGA based) until the Quads are delivered. This external mining farm is pointing to Ozcoin: you can find user 'zeta-mining' anytime either in the Top20, or if the mining-proxies are taking the top ranks in the round-share stats.

I let it to the provider's discretion to confirm here publicly, while the relevant numbers are publicly visible.

Confirming, that my FPGA mining rig runs for zefir in order to secure this bond dividends until hardware is delivered.

Cheers,

roomservice

The scam continues - remember https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=58879.0

If you really interested in testing your pool - you can rent my mining rig (currently 5 GH/s) for 130% pps price, payment upfront.

Thanks a lot @nelisky

Just learned the hard way, how to git clone a branch  Cry

It works really well!
109  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.4.0 on: May 04, 2012, 12:38:53 PM
I have a test branch with cgminer support for ZTEX 1.15y quad boards. Anyone willing to give it a try please grab the source at https://github.com/nelisky/cgminer/tree/ztex-120417

If you are unable to compile it yourself I might be able to provide binaries on some platforms.

when i try to
ztex-120417 branch doesn't ./configure --enable-ztex

i got
WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-ztex

Sad

So what price can we expect on bulk order?

ummm... Nice board but I think 1 hole in the center might be a problem for me. I had plans to water cool this baby. Oh well, I guess I have to suck it up lol. Thanks for the img btw.

The holes on the corners of each FPGA are setup to take standard northbridge heatsinks. Which means any northbridge standard waterblock should work just fine using through-hole mount available on this board.
Yeah but you can't mount 4 heatsinks or blocks with only 1 hole in the middle.

I would be more interested in one large heatsink which covers all four fpga.
112  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Hiring someone to set me up a BITCOIN MINING POOL in my VPS (PAYING) on: May 02, 2012, 05:14:56 PM
i am in need of a very basic mining pool . Actually its not a mining pool, i want my PCs to connect to the server and mine for MY server wallet only by giving one workers name and a password ... No Stats for every miner no nothing ... i just want the stats for the whole mining pool (meaning how much my pool earned ) and the MHashes i have every time ...
if anyone can please leave a message below and i will contact you
im only interested in serious coders with serious bitcoin knowledge who can actually make this ...
(WILL PAY ABOUT 75 DOLLARS )

I could setup ecoinpool (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56068.0) if you still interested.

Morg`N!

nettes kleines Ding das Board!  Grin

I hate to be "that guy", but... Another one of these?

May I ask what you offer to differentiate yourself from the rest of the mining companies on the GLBSE?

I guess this fact: Electricity costs are 0,24 EUR KW/h.

Well, what about longterm plans? If difficulty rises and block reward is cut by 50% at the end of this year you are almost break even on power...

24 hours of mining on current difficulty

117  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ZTEX USB-FPGA Modules 1.15x and 1.15y: 210 and 850 MH/s FPGA Boards on: April 29, 2012, 11:18:08 AM
This unit seems to have died on me while i was playing arround with the Quad and the others.

I don't think so. I had this issue with both the 1.15x and 1.15d. It happened both times after removing and reconnecting them. I think the problem is on the micro USB side. Try there.

Same issue here, after repowering und reconnecting the boards (usb and power) several time, it worked again.
118  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ZTEX USB-FPGA Modules 1.15x and 1.15y: 210 and 850 MH/s FPGA Boards on: April 29, 2012, 09:08:33 AM
Did you use the thermal pad that came with the heatsink? Maybe this is the issue here.

No. Do I have to use the pad and thermal compond???

Something like this:

HEATSINK
~~~~~~~~
AS5
~~~~~~~~
PAD
~~~~~~~~
AS5
~~~~~~~~
FPGA

I never used the pad myself either. When Ztex shipped the fpga there was warning, that using the pad isn't recommended.

Maybe an experienced forum member here knows advise :/
