101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCO] Xcoin | PoS | No Premine & No IPO on: January 28, 2017, 05:06:53 PM
We have some very sad news about our nice long 2yr life on Bittrex. It has finally ended.
Mainly lack of no market volume to be a top ten contender. Lucky we do have XCO on 2 other exchanges
and I'm thinking of trying to get listed on tux.

Since some of us are extremely sad and the news is hitting HARD. I guess it's about letting XCO go.
One of the only "Top Altcoin" that offers Real world uses that's what hurts the most.
No one cares for alts and crypto, No love for legit use of alts and I guess you may have 14 days to remove your XCOIN's off bittrex with a support ticket.
But otherwise not sure how you can remove them since the market page has been removed.

If you want to spend collected stockpile of XCO you can use them to pay for a Pro BitcoinTalkRadio Advertisement.
We will produce and air the radio advertisement 6 times a day on http://bitcointalkradio.com/ for 3 months.
All we would need is the bitcoin company script, and say about 160K of XCO.
Actually you will get 50% off the retail radio and web banner advertising prices when paying in XCO.

Please remind us of those 2 other exchanges, people have 13 days left to withdraw from Bittrex

Who the heck those people and why on earth would we want to support this or them.

Our team is launching this as tribute coin to Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, and their loyal music followers the Juggalo's and Juggalette's.

There are more than one million self-proclaimed Juggalos across the United States, self-described Juggalos are peaceful non-criminal music fans.

at your announcement : the release date 3/17/17 Huh at poster 17 march then at low part poster 9/16/17
are you ok? or maybe im wrong?

The release is 3/17/17 so we can support the event on 9/16/17

WHOOPS SORRY FOLKS

WHOOP is not coming:
Tribute coin for Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope will not happen

[
WHOOP was being created to honor Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, and their loyal music followers the Juggalo's and Juggalette's

Creating an ANON COIN for a group on the FBI's list of organized gangs, is not a good career move for me at this time.

I have decided not to move forward.

This was a painful last-minute decision, but I am doing the right thing for those who fiscally depend on me.

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Wallet Problem on: January 20, 2017, 10:30:43 PM
It's working again.

But the network weight is far too low so I think many wallets have problems.
Within 5 min. I was on top of the staking list, while not present there for more than 10 hours.

I decided to download the blockchain again and start again.
After a few restarts because of the orphan problem mentioned above I resulted in a bad wallet.
(only 8K of my coins came back in the wallet)
After a repairwallet and restart all the coins came back.

But I think there's still something wrong.

Glad to see your wallet is working again. It is very important when 1st starting the xmg wallet to leave staking off until the wallet is full synced.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Wallet Problem on: January 20, 2017, 07:58:23 PM
I have a problem with the wallet:

After a while the connections go back from 4 until 0 and the program says wallet offline.

What can be the problem?

So much staking and so a low reward is also not right....

Any ideas?

Hi,

Do you have the following nodes in your magi.conf?
addnode=104.128.225.215
addnode=104.131.42.100

That staking reward does look a bit low for such a huge amount. Not sure on the technicalities of that, maybe its calculated in a different way - I think you are already using the split and combine mecahnisms, so wont ask about that.

EDIT: just spotted the network weight - that doesn't look right at all (unless its to do with the small number of connections) - I wonder if you are on an incorrect block chain - I'd be inclined to try to resync it if the addnodes list don't improve the situation

You can find some more nodes here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/#!network

I also had this problem today, I restarted the wallet, and I am good now. I must have been on a fork.

The wallet can only deal with a small amount of coins. If you have a large number of coins and blocks it will hog your computer resources and slow your system down.

I don't have any problems running it, but I'm not trying to game the coin. If your going to micro-stake with mini size blocks I suggest you need a hardware update.
