I would suggest that one needs to study the history of price movements of BTC, percentages, time frames. Start way back when BTC was pennies, take the time and learn. And then decide what to do about it.

It's a sad and harsh reality. This has been happened and still happening with almost all bounty hunters. That's why it's better to join multiple campaigns which is possible in social media bounties. You'll atleast get paid by some of them so it won't be a complete disappointment.

It will be hard to completely eradicate scam in cryptocurrency. The only thing people can do is thorough research and take every precaution before investing to avoid atleast some scams because even with strict regulations fiat is not scam free yet.

Who knows but I suspect there would be an initial drop for sure as everyone scrambles for liquidity. How deep the drop would be is anyone's guess. After that, I suspect prices of select cryptos would recover strongly but which ones are open to debate.

Before investment, one needs to learn how to enter the market and spend some time watching price movements of every currency you are interested in. Start with Bitcoin but don't rush. Learn some Chart analysis as well so you get the gist of how it works and also how maximize gains by trading.

I think we need some level of regulations in cryptocurrency market for a bright future because without regulation this market can be rigged 100%. If a telegram group can pump and dump a coin imagine what a few whales can do.

Short term trading is more riskier than bounty campaigns. You will risk real money in trading but results will be quicker either it's profit or loss. In bounty campaigns you'll invest your time only and may also need to wait 1-4 months before you can get the money.

Problem is that it is testing lower support level again and again. Some group of people are determined to drop it as low as they can. while I admire their enthusiasm, I don't think its wise to scare away the investors that are left.

ETF continues to linger as a possibility, Many of us continue to remain doubtful on its approval and do suspect if we get a denial we make new lows for 2018. Of course, I do. Diversification is the best way to prevent big losses. Another good policy is to average down coins in your portfolio at dips to keep our losses minimal and profits bigger when the market goes up.

Cryptocurrencies are in themselves an entirely new market. So in effect, I expect a few infrastructure currencies like Bitcoin and Ether etc. to have trillion dollar caps on their own. With the entire space being worth hundreds of trillions. That's the reason to hold.

I would recommend waiting as I believe in patience but if all the coins in your portfolio are going down then you can sell with a small loss or wait a bit more for the eventual rise.

I think it's better to buy when they are on exchanges and price get down to lower than ICO because most new coins are available on exchange at a lower price than ICO.

A lot of enterprises are now offering blockchain as a solution for storing data, without the need for crypto. When you look at altcoins and look at the solutions they provide (if any - as most don't actually do anything), you can see why the demand for them is dropping rapidly.

It may have something to do with marketcap going down. BTC dominance is increasing but total marketcap is going down including btc and altcoins. Looks like more money is going out of crypto. This is a sign that something big is going to happen soon. Big boys manipulating the market badly!
