NEWS?
It has no news from Dev . Perhaps he abandoned this project . it's not worth investing now. Dev is still here. Just follow my posts. You will see I am active in many projects. XMINE project is still moving forward, it is just low key for now, as I don't believe in creating hype just to pump a coin. More information on the 'Project' will be coming in a few months (probably in the fall). First order of business will be to get listing on more exchanges. I will post a road map and a time schedule before the end of the month of June. |

I am thinking of dropping the transactions fees by an order of 10 in the next release.
I am not a fan of fees that complete with the level found in regular banking fees. As the value of Bata grows, we need to consider the effects of out of proportion fees, similar to what is happening with Bitcoin.
The current Tx fee is 0.001 BTA/kB, I would like to drop that to 0.0001 BTA/kb.
There is always the option to select a free transaction if your total transaction size is below 5kB. We could extend that to 10kB, but I will review the effects of this before suggesting.

We are testing the primitive stages of it right now (for example I successfully created a zerocoinmint transaction two nights ago, just creation.. not broadcasted or used or anything). We have most of the implementation code in place, but there is still plenty of code that needs to be added. We are not in a testnet phase yet, but are able to start testing zerocoin mints and spends. The goal is to make a pretty good unit test suite that will give us a good idea that everything is working as it should be, then do a testnet round. Then after testnet, expand the current implementation to be very very efficient, then test. Then add an intuitive user interface. There is still plenty to accomplish, but the summary of the current statis of zerocoin implementation is "full speed ahead"! It is nice to see another 'AltCoin' moving the development of blockchain technology forward. There is a lot of copy and clones out there, but there is also a handful of developers that are moving the technology forward and hopefully in a more user friendly direction. It is not all about the newest feature, we need to make this technology usable to the general public eventually. |

Between your own taxes and the taxes of operating on the ETH blockchain count me out!
It is too expensive to support your coin. Your contract and your token sucks the value out of my wallet!

ETH wallet has a long way to go for general adoption. Not enough details or maybe too much information complicates the use of the wallet. |

Bittrex has confirmed they have updated to 0.10.4 core.
Yeah, I'm seeing that. Wallet Maintenance Why is Bata so cheap?  Looking at the prices anyone would think that Bata got delisted off Polo Speaking of Polo , any updates? Submitted new request ? I say let them call us. Everyone seems to be chasing to be on Poloniex these days. We can continue to grow without them. |

I did a Git Clone of master to build the wallet on Linux.
The wallet displays "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications"
Shouldn't the master be the lastest STABLE release?
Or did the message get left on the last commit...

I too am interested in how much a masternode will earn, if this has been decided on yet.
We announced a plan to implement Masternodes and the amount to activate a Masternode, as a fair notice to all those interested in Bata, to have the equal chance to collect enough funds to prepare for the furture release that will activate Masternodes. Implementing Masternodes properly and fairly, means adjustments to the economics and rewards for the coin ecosystem. We plan not to suddenly implement changes in wallet releases to give hidden advantages to others. This is still a community driven project (there is no development fund, no ICO, or reward tax on PoW rewards), so your input does count. The value of this coin is driven by the community response to the value of the development being built for this coin. This also means, the development team is investing in the development before the rewards are realized. So, there is a slower and cautious development happening as we are not spending other peoples money, but our own. A little reminder on what is really happening behind the development scenes. |
