101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you budget gambler? on: October 24, 2016, 12:54:16 AM
I don't really save up money over time instead, I tend to put $20 into a gambling site on a loan. That means I won't play again until I've repayed the loan meaning I stop myself from depositing over and over as some do.
102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: member signature campaigns on: October 24, 2016, 12:52:09 AM
There are plenty of signature campaigns found under the service section of the marketplace. Not many take newbies but as you become a member and so on you will get better rates with more campaigns open to you.
103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 24, 2016, 12:50:56 AM
Maybe I'm not as optimistic as the rest of us but if we saw an economic crash of sorts I don't see Bitcoin as staying that strong, many people will sell to get some money further driving the price down atleast towards the start of the crash. Personally I don't see another big crash coming too soon either though.
104  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is mining still profitable on: October 24, 2016, 12:48:20 AM
As others have said there is a lot of variables which can make it more or less profitable but as a general rule consumer end mining is not really profitable long term as hardware evolves etc.
105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: (Penny auction web) Make your own business on: October 24, 2016, 12:45:48 AM
I've been interested  in starting up a site like this in the past but I've found it difficult to get a script that functions really well with minimal bugs, do you know of any current bugs or issues with the script? Thanks.
106  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Power Bank 10000 mAH on: October 24, 2016, 12:43:07 AM
Is it similar to the one here: https://www.amazon.com/DCAE-Portable-12000mAh-External-Cellphones/dp/B01DU2P694 ?

If so, I would go with seven2smoke over big bad amazon every day of the week Smiley

There is only a 2 dollar difference, you'd be helping another forum member, and only one of these 2 businesses takes bitcoin Wink

If you have a look at the alieexpress link posted above it seems like he is paying about half the price he is selling them for and just ordering online to whatever address you provide meaning he is profiting $10 per powerbank for doing nothing you couldnt do with 2 minutes of searching Tongue
107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pentagon: ISIS Will Use Chemical Weapons To Defend Mosul on: October 24, 2016, 12:33:47 AM
Is this really surprising? Wouldn't you suspect they would use any means necessary to get what they want? ESPECIALLY considerering they are a religious group.
108  Economy / Gambling / Re: girlbtc.com---------0 house edge-----------block based on: October 20, 2016, 03:56:38 AM
I think the site looks really impressive at first look although I think some of it could be tidied up a bit. For example, in the rounds history the BTC amount is in large blue text that isn't so nice to the eyes. I also think you guys might really benefit from a professional looking thread design. I actually really like the idea of this site though, I'll be watching it for now but I might play a few games later on.

115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Reasons Why Online Gamblers Should Use Bitcoin on: October 11, 2016, 01:56:26 PM
In my opinion gambling has been great for bitcoin with bitcoin gambling becoming extremely popular because of its anonymity, its accessibility, quick deposit and low transaction fees.
I think in the future bitcoin will become commonplace in the greater internet gambling scene, there are just so many advantages over traditional internet gambling.

117  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: October 11, 2016, 10:04:29 AM
Keep up the good work nasty! I love coming into this thread and seeing how the whole nasty operation is doing. I used to own a few shares (seats) a few years back and it makes me happy seeing nasty doing well and keeping up with all the changes in mining technology (I've been around the place since the old GPU's where still mining BTC).
I plan on making a donation when possible. Props to OGNasty as well for always being transparent, honest and trustworthy Smiley
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin designed to be global? on: October 11, 2016, 09:19:23 AM
Isn't it plausible that the bulk of bitcoin adoption happened later and was slower than expected? That would explain why the distribution of Bitcoins so heavily favours "Early adopters"
As for the 21 Million limit, I think we will eventually change to using mBTC as the standard unit because of how bitcoins price will increase. This would mean there is 2 Billion+ mBTC available which sounds a lot more globally friendly.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone to recommend good ICOs? on: October 11, 2016, 07:02:37 AM
Honestly over the last few years I have seen very few ICO coins that turned into successful coins. Investing in an ICO is similar to gambling, and in my experience the odds aren't great. I'd advise most members here to atleast observe a few ICO's to see how they play out before even considering investing in an ICO. One big tell tale sign is to see how transparent the dev's are (Do you know their real names? Do they have experience in this kind of development

My overall recommendation: Steer clear of ICO's where possible and at the least do as much in depth research as possible. You wont find any investor bank doing an IPO without knowing every detail about the business, shouldnt you be doing the same with your money for a coin?
