101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satoshi cashing out some Bitcoins!!! on: July 27, 2014, 04:34:59 PM
if this coins belong to satoshi or not is irrelevant

the relevant part is some old time holder decided to move

there should be a simple service to track all the bitcoin mined on 2009 and maybe with sms alarms for a fee and special filters

believe me they do, look how many "features" did they deploy after they kicked me out

What's your story with Bfx?

early i joined bitfinex like a adviser in 2012 and since what i put on the table did push bitfinex up from deep shit  R promised to give me 25% of shares from bitfinex and when he registered the company on early 2013 but he dint and i dint get any document of that, then my theoretical 25% share got diluted to 20% to make room for additional investors, then using the excuse that i dint want to put money for bitfinex loses, i dint recognize the loses because there was no external audit and R already edited the database giving money to special friends so he turn around and said well i was not a share holder just like a adviser like i was in 2012 so he kicked me out

A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration 9M-MRD performing flight MH-17 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with 280 passengers and 15 crew, was enroute at FL330 about 50nm northwest of Donetsk (Ukraine) when the transponder signal was lost at FL330 at position N48.56 E37.21 at 13:43Z. The aircraft came down near the village of Shakhtarsk (Ukraine) about 56nm from the last transponder position.

Interfax reports citing an industry source that a Malaysia Boeing 777 from Amsterdam to Malaysia has crashed near the Ukrainian/Russian border, the burning wreckage has been located. The aircraft has been shot down, the agency subsequently added.

Malaysia Airlines have confirmed an incident, the aircraft did not enter Russian Airspace so far, about two hours after the estimated entry into the airspace. At 15:40Z Malaysia Airlines tweeted: "Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow."

Ukraine's Ministry of Interior have confirmed the Boeing has crashed, there were no survivors.

The Ukraine have closed the airspace around Donetsk about 90 minutes after the aircraft disappeared.

hat didn't take long for the Ukrainian government to know exactly what happened:

All 280 passengers and 15 crew were killed in the crash. The Malaysian Airlines jet was shot down by the BUK Missile System according to Interfax.

The BUK Missile system:

Curiously, Anton Gerashchenko, advisor to Ukraine ministry of internal affairs, had a prepared explanation for everything that happened half an hour ago, long before Ukraine even announced it would begin a probe into the flight crash:

imo people here dont understand the loans interest exposure here a example

a trader borrow 1000$ to go long and he goes buy and hold over time the borrowing cost go up to 100$ now the market crash and the trader got a 100% loss the total loss for bitfinex is not just 1000$ but is 1100$ because the loan interest is charged then the position is closed

i say that bitfinex have over 2 mill usd exposure from loans and the recent change was done to avoid loses on top of the the leverage change is a step to kill the bubble and reduce risk

get your pop corn this will be fun  Grin Grin Grin

And that makes up this incredible difference? Well apparently the market thinks so. If the market as reflected by Bitfinex actually is a real and free market that is ...

The Chinese exchanges recently have been copying BFX's swap model and their rates are fairly similar. The high interest rates are basically bitcoin exchange risk premiums.
yo mean my model
Hi Zhou Tong... Wink
ha he had a bucket shop with inverse swaps I took that "shit" to leverage/debt market level that today is called swaps .......

I can't believe this thread even exists, Giancarlo shouldn't have even bothered commenting the obvious!
The logic in the original post is SO totally wrong and the OP really needs to do the homework on basic trading tools (for ANY commodity trading platform!!!) before trying to "make waves" with absolutely no basis to the accusations.

Fist of all, the total borrowed (regardless of what it was in the past) is a reflection of current traded volume on Bitfinex and this number grew simply because more traders joined the platform recently. This is just what it is - Bitfinex recently became the most popular exchange for BTC/USD pair.

Secondly, ALL of the borrowed by traders funds you see are fully backed primarily by THEIR OWN funds. There is simply no other technical way to borrow, but to have sufficient amount in trader's own account and the leverage at Bitfinex is a measly 2.5:1 (this is "nothing" in comparison to a 400:1 or more offered by some Forex brokerages).

What "credit bubble"? What are you talking about? Why do you care and what is your grudge?

you can always ask R to edit the data base and give you some money to play the market, but i guess first u need to be a special friend  Grin

i dint read the last pages of the thread

the questions is why dint the west send observers if they support the democracy concept ? why are the west against the referendum on the first place ? if the Ukrainian Junta is so confident why they dont allow the referendum ? it will fail anyway no ?

EU atm it has a track record that will shame anyone that supports democracy, anyone remember the Greek bailout referendum ? or the EU constitution referendum's ?
