GOOD NEWS!!! About to be listed on Bittrex!!! Evilcoin to the moon!!!

Have a question for the Dev's, was thinking about your logic in introducing only a market wallet and it occurred to me that the market client offers both Bitbay and Bitcoin as payments alternatives, so how will this help people buy more Bitbay, you would need a Bitbay ONLY market and a noob friendly interface, those 2 things would increase Bitbay value IMO.

The problem of withrawal ABY to Cryptopia. I sent my ABY two days ago. I did a withdrawal to wallet (Cryptopia) through a twitterbot. Bot confirmed the transaction. The transaction was frozen with 0 confirmations for two days already. What could be the problem ? Or be patient and wait? For Artbyte seems problem with blockchain, withdrew from Yobit and showed 1 confirmation stuck so far 1 day.

Hello,
I need an ArtByte dev to contact me.
Julian (c/o Bittrex)
How to get my mined coins out of fucking Bittrex? I registered in this exchange and put 1.67393807 ZEC a couple of months ago in there and now Bittrex even wont giving me basic verification! I cant withdraw my money! Give me my money back motherfuckers! Same thing happened to me last week, does not matter the coin, due to money laundering USA laws, you now have to get enhanced account, no big deal upload drivers license or passport with a selfie and within 1-2 hours you have full access again. That all.

is bittrex supporting your next fork at 30 november?
Yes. They are already using the new wallet. @Munti: Do the bay coins get staked when they are on bittrex or do they have to be on the client / wallet to get staked? (sorry if its a silly questions (newbie ) All exchanges will stake the coins, just logical and profitable for them. Yes they need to be in a wallet to be staked. No. You do not get any stake when you keep your coins on Bittrex. Edit: And so far I have not seen Bittrex stake their hot wallets. And certainly not their cold wallet. I know the customers don't get the stake funds, the exchange keeps it as a bonus. Not Bittrex. They don't stake. How do you know for sure? Just logical they would. Because we have been monitoring their wallets. And it's not logical they would. They are very focused on security, and there are theoretical attack vectors when staking. That's why David developed what we call cold staking. Did not think of that, thanks for clarifying. How does cold staking work versus the standard method? Did not even know Bitbay qt used a different staking system. Qt has ordinary staking. The client has cold staking. "Cold staking" is a bit of a misnoumer here, but we use it because it gives you security that is getting close to a cold wallet if you use all security measures we have. You can use two computers for staking, keeping one key on each computer. Password protect the keys of course, and then hide them inside a picture that you store amongst hundreds or thousands of other pics. Add the anti keylogger as well, and you should be very safe. An attacker would have to find both computers, hack them, then find the pics, and then crack the passwords. You have to be very talented and extremly motivated to pull that off! Interesting, thanks for explaining

Hi Folks, I am new on bitcointalk and a newbie in the crypto world. I recently invested in some bitbay coins through bittrex. My question is, can I leave them on the bittrex plattform or do i have to store them on the bitbay wallet or client? Especially considering the upcoming fork? If I have to store them on the bitbay wallet or client, which of the both would you recommend to use? If one of you could help me with that, it would be great. Many Thanks! Always best to store your coins in YOUR OWN wallet, gives you control over your own money and you can stake the Bitbay coins. Do you have any recommendation as to what is a good wallet? Again, I am new to this. Would I loose my bitbay coins if left them on bittrex even after the fork? I strongly recommend the client. That's where all the tech is, and we are likely to abandon the Qt wallet soon anyway. Who told you they are canceling the qt wallet? The client is far from perfect running order IMO, been over 2 years and still has same message that you can only list coins, same with Blackcoin, also takes forever to download and sync if at all for that matter. The qt wallet is the best choice IMO for now until they work out the kinks with the marketplace client. Not to mention for A noob user the client is far too complex. I'm the operations manager in BitBay, and this is something we have decided on long ago. Downloads are slow, but we are about to fix that. That's a server problem, not an issue with the client. Syncing is as fast or faster than Qt. Agree on complex for noob, but then according to support requests, noobs have trouble with Qt too. We are looking into the GUI though. If you check roadmap you will see that we intend to have a new design ready Q1 2018. My apologies did not realize you were on the team. I personally find the qt wallet better for trading purposes, I have been with your project since near day 1 and I have not been able to sync the marketplace client without constant reboots of the software and also keeping 2 keys versus just the .dat file I find troublesome, I personally prefer brain wallets with passphrases so you can always just add the wallet to any computer anywhere. Also no offence at all, but really not much going on the marketplace for 2 years so far. I have always loved this projects potential, I remember first time I heard of Bitbay and thought great idea as competition to eBay that robs you with listing fees, I hope to see your marketplace thrive in future. No apologies needed. Me being a team member is not relevant for the issue you raise. I only mentioned it because you asked where I had my info from. May I ask what OS you are on? I know we have had a lot of problems with mac, but on win it runs without any issues. Linux depends on linux version. Craig would be the man to talk to about that. Peronnally I think two keys is an argument for client -not against. But I accept that others may have a different opinion on that. The point of abandoning Qt in the future is to reduce the number of wallets to maintain and upgrade. We obviously need the client as that's where all our features are. And we also need the webwallet as that will be a major building block for RL use of BitBay. The web wallet could also be used as a local cold wallet if you like. We will look into making it easily awailable for that somewhere down the road. I would certainly like to see our marketplace used more too. And that is also one of the reasons we want people to use the client instead of Qt wallet. That would mean one obstacle less compared to downloading the client in addition to Qt when you want to start using the market. Makes sense that only having the marketplace client would increase the use of it. I am rather advanced when it comes to computer tech, I use various Linux flavors depending on changes to the OS versions. I have tried your marketplace on windows and various Linux all about the same problems. I think making the marketplace client more noob friendly would be a step in the right direction to attract the average user IMO.

No you would not lose them but again best to download and install the qt wallet and send your coins to the wallet here is the link: http://bitbay.market/downloadsBack up the wallet.dat file in a safe place in case your computer crashes.
