101  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The World's First Crypto Market Index on: March 09, 2018, 09:30:55 PM
So basically you are creating a chart for the overall health of the totality of the whole cryptocurrency world/market. It is ambitious, but it will likely be a hard thing to do. Unlike Dow Jones Index, they are just given a constant set of companies which are listed on their chart to monitor. The number and participants don't really change a whole lot unless some get listed and de-listed. This is not true in the cryptocurrency sphere. New crypto is added daily, and a lot fall out of favor as well. So your list might not be the same every day or even every hour. As some crypto will be relevant today and probably not later, and vice versa. That is something to be cautious about.
102  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why DOVU is the missing piece of puzzle to the Transport sectors’ vision on: March 09, 2018, 09:25:14 PM
Would say that this isn't the proper place to post this. If you are announcing an ICO or promoting your token then move this to the altcoin section. Though this section is really unclear to me what's the purpose, this is still clearly not the proper place to put this thread.
103  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: March 09, 2018, 10:45:41 AM
I agree that there should be Merit. however I think I should change a bit in the give and take Merit so that it is simpler. Increase the number of Merit needed to rank, and have more Merit to give.Basically, it's still the same now, but I think when the value of a Merit less than, people will get more and more. More will need more quality articles instead of spam

Actually, merit has only stopped account farming and not really spam. Since people can still post shit regardless of whether they expect merit or not. It's still the same forum, but slowly removing the power of farmers to create new accounts for profit.
104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com service resumed! World's largest dice site on: March 09, 2018, 10:36:16 AM
Congrats to Primedice for getting back the site pretty quick and it did not result to too much problems for their gamblers.

Also kudos to them for issuing a refund to those people that were scammed by the phasing site. However, how will you guys give refunds to people that deposited using addresses that they cannot sign from, i.e. from exchanges and other such things.

They can probably request proof of withdrawal from the exchange aka. screenshots, txids etc.

True, but still hard to authenticate.

I was asked to, but try to find things that are over 1 year ago  (Username:immerich)

Why are you looking for over 1 year ago? The phising happened just like a week ago, am I missing something here?
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways casinos cheat on: March 09, 2018, 10:13:46 AM
Also, I gotta say, this thread turned into something I didn't want it to be.
I started this thread to talk about how casinos cheat, not why!
With proof, links, personal experience etc.
Not random jibber-jabber.

Lock the thread then.

Casinos don’t need to cheat, as their business is quite profitable by itself. The only thing casinos have to do is to attract customers. Big casinos with high traffic don’t cheat, as they are money-making machines.

I won't, because I believe a thread like this is necessary.
There are casinos with scamming behaviour, and a thread to warn and discuss others about it should exist.

Maybe it would be better if you keep on updating the main post whenever you or someone else found some cheats employed by casinos. Also probably changing the title would likely clarify things for the readers as mostly people just base their thoughts on the title. Probably something like "Cheats used by gambling sites/ casinos" or "How do they cheat: A compilation".
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: March 09, 2018, 10:10:48 AM
It is really hard to leave gambling especially if you are really addicted with it. Once you are out of control with it, it will going to be hard for you to leave. You must help yourself to stop playing gambling and you need to motivate yourself to do that. I think it is better if you going to travel and leave those gambling games you have. Enjoy with family and friends and travel in some places that you are going to relax and enjoy to forget that addiction. You will see the beauty of life if you forgot that addiction and you will think that you are just wasting your time with gambling.  Cheesy

The only person that can really help you quit gambling for good is yourself. You will hear a lot of good advise hear. But if you don't follow it with your heart, nothing will change. And most of the time, its more of a mental game. How tough and how serious are you in quitting? Because 90% of those who quit have return to gambling anyways. Similar to quitting smoking, I know a lot of people who have quit for so long, but a simple event in their life triggers the addiction again (like death in a family). Its gonna be a constant and everyday battle for those quitters and its gonna be a tough road. But if you are really that serious and you know the consequences of getting back at gambling then I'm sure at the end you are going to overcome it.

Advises and all just give you ideas how to stop gambling but you have to make strong decssion then only it is possible. for example, in my family, my father addicted to smoking but suddenly his health was upset and 1 month he was hospitalised. after that, he stopped smoking completely why because he realise how it will affect his loved once. like that when people will realise there mistake that time automatically they will stop gambling.
Well that is when yo learn it the hard way, but some people will have the resolve to be able to quit anything if they wanted to. But that is hard to see anyone who has an addiction. So if you are a gambler and you have a gambling addiction, you either learn it the hard way by losing all of your money or you can stop it at your own volition. The latter is quite harder, but it is possible with some form of help, either it be from your family or some medical intervention.
But there are people that just don't learn. They even end up losing more and more money and even if they lost their money already they find ways to fund their addiction. Which leads to further drowning in debts. I hope before this happens to anyone, they could seek out help as the casinos and gambling sites will never do anything about it even if they post something like "practice responsible gambling".
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: March 09, 2018, 09:58:33 AM
- Where do you win high amount of bitcoin in straight betting or in parlay?

 - Do you believe in hunch in terms of betting or still believe in prediction of the analyst?

 - Do you experience a sweet victory in parlay? How many team or sports you try to mixed?

 - Are you believe in lucky in terms of sports betting or you believe to the ability of the players?

As of now I was not yet win in any sportsbetting I do, do you have any strategies on how I know whose the teams/player were win in the game?

1. It really depends on the multiplier of your games and not very much on the site.
2. I do believe it is a mix of both.
3. Back then I usually do just a 3 game parlay, and has a higher win rate for me.
4. Again this is a mix of both

I would suggest you study the teams and the sport to understand it better. Although there are still a lot of factors to consider aside from those.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: March 09, 2018, 09:54:18 AM
I must admit I felt a little strange the first time I went to a casino. Although gambling is a perfectly normal activity in these days, at that time it was still considered as a "bad" thing, or as an addiction. So when I was walking in the casino I actually felt like people would judge me because I was wasting money in luck games. Of course that I rapidly understood that I was being stupid, because they were all there doing the same thing. I actually had a lot of fun there and it was a good night. I don't go to casinos that often, but I never got that feeling again.

They always think that those people that is going to the casinos are really addicted to it, just they dont do anything in their life only betting and trying their luck like they are just wasting their money and time.because they always tend to lose. Noe a days really going to casinos is accepted all over the world if you are 18 above but it is not acceptable to the society because people were more likely to judge you

Yes.If you are greater than 18 years, you are free to play a gambling and casino. No one will force to stop you, they don't have a right to do this. Even your government can't officially stop you. If you are rich and lost money in business means, they will say you had lost money in casino or gambling.

How do you say this bro. I found some bitcoin gambling sites has been banned by the US commerce department. I do not where you got the information all 18+ age group members only will allow to play the any gambling options.
Government can completely ban the domain too. You are completely wrong bro. Please understand the rules that implemented on gambling investments.

Maybe in some countries there is lot of restriction for people below 18 because in some countries below 18 people are not allowed to drink alcohol and in some countries there is rule for below 18 should not encourage prostitution.

In the US you must be 21 to gamble but only 18 to drink. In most countries this is the rule, though I would say that it should be a lot higher especially when it involves real money. But for the likes of something like poker which does not involve money (zynga poker or something like that) there is no such age restriction. Even slots that has no money does not have it as well. The thing is, young people don't really know what money is worth so the government has to protect them with regulations.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: March 09, 2018, 09:47:28 AM

I couldn't as well. Probably this was brought about by the recent attack to primedice, maybe this domain was also affected. Let's probably wait for their announcement.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit v2 – No commission on investors & dilution fee lowered to 1% on: March 09, 2018, 08:01:47 AM
I like how dooglus explained what he learned from his reading, made it a lot clearer to me too how things are actually computed mathematically in terms of how much investors really can profit from each bet depending on the parameters of the casino investment and the house edge. Would say that I've always just trusted that my money will grow in casino bankrolls bu never knew the science of how things really worked.

Let's use Dooglus as the judge on the matter.

If I can convince Dooglus that you deceived investors, you agree to be red-tagged by everyone.
If I can convince Dooglus that any of you lied, you agree to be red-tagged by everyone.
If I can convince Dooglus that investors were not on the same playing level as RHavar, RHavar agrees to be red-tagged by everyone.

If I can convince Dooglus that your lies and deceit led to negative consequences for investors, you agree to publicly acknowledge this in a written statement.

Was not able to watch this thread, and checked it just know. I don't see your point why you commented this on my post. I only commended dooglus on how he explained how house edge and casino investments work, since I really never had the time to research how it truly ticks. But hey, you are entitled to your opinion, but I just don't see any point why you were so hostile to it.

112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: March 09, 2018, 07:21:39 AM
I think that can be said so, this is because in trading all analyzes never guarantee profit, and in trading there will be only two sides of profit or loss, so I will say that trading is the same as gambling.

Yeah, but Trading is a good way of "gambling" because you know that you are going to get some profits in return after you gamble your money by buying tokens that you are going to trade in the market, unlike the real gambling which you are risking your money hoping that you coul win easily to make easy money, Trading is more better. In Trading your money is going to worth it but not on gambling.

Not sure if you can consider buying tokens from ICOs part of trading. I would consider trading to be something like really trading on exchanges that offer coins that are already out of the ICO stage. It's still not a sure fire way of earning though, since there is still a lot of risks involved in trading to be considered as something that could make you profit the whole time.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: March 09, 2018, 07:16:06 AM
Save yourself time and effort and go all in between x1.5 and x2 payout. IF you're lucky you win, if not: shit happens Roll Eyes Grin

This is the risk of gambling and no matter what strategy you will still loss because the probability of winning is very low. Better to put your money in trading on which you can make an analysis and have a higher chance of making profit. Don't make gambling as your resources because its not good to do so and you might loss all your money because of that attitude.

It is not actually very low, it is actually lower than your chances of winning due to the house edge. Trading doesn't really guarantee success since there are a lot of people that also loss money in trading, you can even say this is true in stocks trading and not only in crypto trading. The best way to really make money is just to earn it through your own way, like offer your service or sell something.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you still looking for best gambling site that suits your luck on: March 09, 2018, 07:11:36 AM
I know how much you want to help those kids but I don't think gambling sites or whatever that involves gambling will help you finance yourself to help the street kids. You will just get tempted to gamble the money you raised. And oh by the way I already have accounts in those gambling sites.

Seriously though, no one should be gambling for money, it will never be something profitable in the end as gambling sites are business that earn money and they are not operating for the purpose of giving away money. So I would suggest rather than gambling for money, you do it nice and slow with some other way. It is not easy to make a quick buck, since it could result to you losing more than what you though you can earn.
115  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-08] Winklevoss Twins Say Crypto Exchange May Offer More Coins on: March 09, 2018, 06:45:43 AM
If they are a true cryptocurrency exchange then they should be offering more coins. If not they should be just called a bitcoin exchange. As a trader I would prefer a lot more options than just sticking to what is the mainstream one. I know there are traders that only trade BTC/USD but I think there are a lot more money to be made with other pairs.
116  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-08] Binance CEO: All Irregular Trades Reversed, Hackers Lost Coins on: March 09, 2018, 06:33:16 AM
It's just really scary to know that these kinds of things still happens to top exchanges. They hold millions and even billions worth of cryptocurrencies and they could still be susceptible to hackers that could alter the trading of the platform. Which means there are still people that lost or gained because of the hack, not because they were hackers, but they were like collateral damage.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alternative To Coinmarketcap on: March 09, 2018, 06:21:52 AM
CoinGecko is also good. It includes Github activity and community activity as a measure to know how "healthy" a cryptocurrency is as a project in general.

Other nice complementary sites are CryptocurrencyCalendar and CryptoMiso.

I also use coingecko but more of coinmarketcap. I would say they are still different, all of them. Since they all have different ways of computing the top coins. They don't all have the same standard or what exchanges they are basing their interpretation. So I think it's nice to have more than one point of view, so they are all relevant if you are a trader.
118  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New mining-scams - do not invest on: March 09, 2018, 04:42:29 AM
There are too many of cloud mining scams, and even if they aren't it's not as profitable as just buying bitcoins or whatever altcoins you want to mine. Since you can buy a lot more from your money than you can mine.
119  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BTCUSD ANALYSIS on: March 07, 2018, 11:47:54 PM
I gave it analysis, no one talked to me, It's working well Cry
Don't really expect everyone to know your analysis. There are too many people that are actually posting their own analysis and since there are so many people have no time to read them all, let alone remember everyone they were able to read.

Also, what's the point? Should we give you a pat on the back and tell you "good job"? Best thing to do if you are good in this kind of thing is to either bet on your analysis or you compile your analysis and if you are truly doing good, sell those analysis to buyers like traders, trading platforms, or those blogs.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 07, 2018, 11:30:41 PM
Did anyone here have experience a walk of shame (Walking home since you have a loss all your gambling money in just one snap)? Well, It did happen to me once and I'll never do that again. It was the bad year for me (Peek of my addiction), I normally left my atm/credit card at home if I were to visit a casino and have enough money wih some changes for my stay, food, drink and my fare. The first time it happens to me is when I was so frustrated because I can't win up to point I already spent my allocated money for my fare. I was devastated that I need to go home at 3 a.m. with no money literally and I haven't got a phone in me (which make it worst). Started walking from the casino going home it was the longest walk I ever made I pity myself and upon arriving at home my wife and my kids are already awake, I just can't bare to look at them. I don't even know what to say at that point. I just walk in shame, in front of my kids.

How about you, have experienced it? We all have different interpretation on "Walk of shame".

I never have this kind of experience.  I always make sure I have money for fare.  It is a sad thing that it happen to you but I am glad you are all safe after that long walk and realized that you made a mistake and never planned on doing that again.  Sometimes we have to experience something unusual to snap out of some bad habit.

The saying is likely a figure of speech and not really something that would result to you walking home due to the fact that you loss everything in gambling. The issue is that some gamblers just keep on gambling even without considering the negative effects of losing their money in gambling. This is really the shameful thing about it.
