101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 27, 2020, 05:14:05 AM
Esport events are gaining in popularity due to the fictitious Coronavirus
Before the corona outbreak, esports is already gaining traction. And the one that made the impact to this industry is because of the huge prize pool of Dota 2.
How did it happened? because the sales from their battle pass, there's a share that will go to the prize pool and that's very effective because a lot of players supported it.
Dota2 took the history for having the highest prize pool in E-sport events but there is worth to mention tournaments too like League of Legends and Counter Strike that is also having yearly world tournament.
But unfortunately, because of the pandemic it is near impossible to see tournaments this year, there have been talks that the tournament will be home-based but before you do that there are some factors that the organizers should consider like the internet, and computer reliability.
Yes, it would be slightly impossible now, since this pandemic needs a social distancing, also it is good if they will make the tournament but the thing is does the ISP will give them assurance that they will give them reliable speed and connection that they are needed because having a slow and lagging internet is the most thing that they needed.

yes sir as long as smart tv yung gamit niyo at pwede sa netflix.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet rocks on: April 10, 2020, 07:00:21 PM
If you are so interested in legacy Bitcoin chain and others like segwit or bp2 I suggest you look into coinomi wallet, the wallet supports all new and old Bitcoin chains, it's visible clearly on the Bitcoin wallet in coinomi
I have used both type of wallets and tbh, the Trust wallet really rocks. The Ethereum transactions can be controlled for the proper gas fee, unlike the alternative Android wallets. My Pixel phone handles easily the Trust wallet and will continue to use this wallet until the better version comes out.
Yes trust wallet is good, but I am new to it, since I heard about it when they are giving a free coin that you needed to install their wallet first because that coin will be sent in that wallet. I hope that the UI will be upgrade too and also I hope that in terms of security that wallet is good to use and there will be minimal problems only.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on DEX's - What's your experience? on: April 10, 2020, 04:06:28 PM
IDEX had been one of my favorites, but when I experienced lots of downtimes due to maintenance, I stopped using it and other DEXs thinking that all of them used to have the same problems including; like no liquidity, no volume, not much stronger user-base, etc. I'd like to ask you if this BlockNet has some amount of traders available for some specific coins to be traded with ease? Or do they also lack orders?
Me too, Ive known idex for too long, since some of my coins before is listed in idex, I know IDEX because I quit using etherdelta, because it is hard to use etherdelta nowadays it took so long before I can use the website and also the volume there is not so good. I am using IDEX  by my metamask for me to be sure everything is secured.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 10, 2020, 01:41:44 PM
I have heard and read those stories a lot of times and I always wonder what would be making people to be such dumb or is it that they are aware that trading carries risk?

I just don’t get it. Even when I was a newbie I knew all that, and I also made my research to understand cryptocurrency trading. And even if I’m not aware of all that, I still wouldn’t trade all the money I have, you don’t need anyone to tell you about this. If I had that 10 BTC, part of it would be used for Hodl, and that would up to 90 percent of it, while I use just 1 BTC for trading, and I won’t even trade the 1 BTC at a time, will just be trading a little bit of it.
This is the basic rule in trading and in gambling, do not put all your eggs in one basket, because it might be the reason that you may lose all your money, and also it is not bad to take risk but in a strategic way. There is no 100% chance in winning this too, all you need to do is to have a good plan in everything, and also have patience it is one the good thing you must have in this crypto world.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 10, 2020, 12:11:32 PM
To me, betting double after losing is a sign of desperation from the losers aspect.
And this is an attitude very conversant with a near addict of gambling.

We need to always maintain our calmness, either in profits or in loss.

That could be in most cases as when you double and you still lose again, you might think of doubling again until you will wipe out your entire bankroll and that is very frustrating. but for some, they know how to use this strategy so they are successful, but still not advisable for newbie as mostly their emotion is what they use instead of making a strategy to make it work.
For me it is not good, it will only make ypu fall into debt trying to get all the money you have been lose. You need to make a good strategy next time so that you would not end up having nothing. Good strategy can make you win and make you get back all your losses not with doubling your bet. It is not good and not recommended for me.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: April 10, 2020, 10:24:37 AM
We can move on especially if we accept that we did wrong. It is a reality that it is not easy to recover from being addicted to gambling. I know many people who say that they will now stop playing gambling but now they still gamble their money and it seems that they now forget that they want to recover from addictions. There are now many lives that have been destroyed due to addiction. Acceptance has important role in order to escape the addiction.
Yes, it is the best thing to do, it is to move on , on what we have done wrong that makes us lose many things. But moving on is the hardest part, acceptance is very hard and yet it is the best way to get away from addiction . If you can't do it yourself, you must do it with the help of the mental health professionals.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz stealing money again and accuse people of being criminal.... on: April 10, 2020, 04:52:53 AM
This is how gamble works! everything about Bitstarz is gambling even to send someone's winning funds is gambling. right now they gambled with you to not send your winning funds. all you need to do is don't stop nagging them and provide them with everything they asked for. I'm sure you have all of them since you're winning from their site is legit. They're playing with you right now and they see some hole that will make you lose these funds. don't surrender, it's your money now get it from them they need to give it to you.
Indeed. He just needed to comply to everything that they are asking for him to do.I think OP can get what he will be getting just needed a good proof and he can win over them. It is his earning do not lose to them. They will accuse you for nothing  but you may keep your stand about what you are concern. Do nlt be decieve it is your money after all.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 09, 2020, 05:45:29 PM
So if recording money that you losses make you sad don't do that but for sure recording all your winnings makes you happy.

And that's going to make you sad too, because I'm sure the total number of your winnings is much lower than the amount of your losses, it is pretty frustrating to know that you could still count it in all of your fingers, or it is not yet even close to 100 after all the years you are playing gambling. I'd rather not to list anything at all to avoid the backfire, in my opinion. Enjoying every result or having self realization will do.

Indeed. It is ba for me to always look for your past losses since it will only frustrates me and regret the move that I do . Once is enough for me, if I see that then the next time I will not do the same strategy, but I will forget that since it will become a regret that can never be change nor improve. So let go of the record and be more productive and disciplined in gambling.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK outlaws credit card gambling from 14th April on: April 09, 2020, 04:25:28 PM
dark times are coming, my country is closing many places where gambling happened because according to my country's government they need to have a license, fortunately it is not forbidden for people to play gambling and as far as I know in my country the people can use credit and debit cards for gambling.

Maybe because, sometimes there are available card that can be purchase in the market, it is a live credit card that is using by the hackers, they will stole money from others and they cannot be trace easily, I think that is why they prohibited it, it is for the protection of everyone not only for their own advatange, we can think that it is their own way to make the country more secured in terms of gambling.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: April 08, 2020, 11:30:33 AM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.
No , I will not, it is not good to change the way you live just to please others or just to make your image good for other people to reach their expectations as well. You don't need to explain yourself you are a gambler, but you are responsible in every actions that you will be doing. I think it is more than enough for them to trust you, and also you are a good tax payer as a gambler, and as long as you are not addicted and not fall in any bad crimes, I think it is good.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 07, 2020, 11:13:12 PM
While I was browsing on PBA updates in spin.ph, I saw this latest article entitled.

Is Fajardo already the PBA's GOAT? Let's look at the numbers

Then my attention caught on the picture.

I thought Kobe Paras was there but when I read it, it was Benjie Paras, I was just surprise because TBH, it's the first time I saw Benjie in a picture with a hair.  Grin.. the I am not anymore interested in reading the content of the article. lol
Yeah they are very much alike, because they are father and son lol. But kidding aside, I hope that Kobe will be as great as his father. Does he already a player in PBA? Its been a long time since I watch PBA and follow its news. And kobe is the youngest between the two right? And got a draft in the NBA?
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: April 07, 2020, 02:21:48 PM
It is really true that corona affected us a lot because we lack liquidity but at the same time showed the world how we are insisting on not dropping neither.

Are we down right now compared to where we were? Sure, we are but at the same time we are a lot better than the bottom we hit as well, we bottomed out at 3600 levels and that took less than 24 hours to bounce back above 5k, which showed the whole world that we might lack in liquidity but we also have huge heart and bravery to go back in when everything looked so gloom as well.

During the peak of corona when everyone was afraid, there were people who were buying bitcoin with their cash when they could have used it for survival. That speaks levels of what we can do for bitcoin and that worths something to some people.
It is true, that Corona Virus all the industries especially our economic rate. That is why many markets has been crash and still on its recovery, we all know that even a small FUD that people will take seriously could hit the market, so does the Virus do. It has a very large impact, and also many companies are releasing their funds to help their employees with no return on their assets but it has a good side.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW LOW BTC CAN GO? on: April 07, 2020, 12:48:43 PM
Maybe we should and people have to move on. Because thinking about coronavirus will give us a way to think negatively and it affects our mind. In fact, we are already in the good position, $6k plus? I may say it was good enough to think that we are in the way for recovery and might people are also learning not to sell their Bitcoin but rather to hold or even accumulate some from the weak hands. But even the markets some progressive reports, I'm still not seeing it that it goes high within this quarter. It is possible to see huge pumps in the 3rd and 4th quarters as halving result comes out.
It is possible that bitcoin will be in the range of $6000-$8000 this year, but it all depends on this pandemic, we all know that market crashes, wether crypto/stock market it all goes down, people go panic selling, and it resulted to a global crisis, we need a recession and wait for the market to recover. It will take time but it will not go deeper than it is since it has a large wall on it,
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 07, 2020, 10:57:53 AM
There are 2 types of people who want to gamble their money, the one is looking for fun that want to kill his boredom and the other is full of greed who wants to earn money from it. I'm with the side of seeking enjoyment so for me gambling is not a threat for me and it helps me to have better quality of life. It can be only a threat if people will depend getting income through gambling only and this kind of scenario should we avoid.
Agree with you, it can be a threat depending on how people cope with it. I must say that it is not a threat now because I gamble but because I am doing that thing to avoid boredom and to strengthen my skills , it is also needs a critical thinking so that it we can make a good decision and strategy, it can only be a threat once the motivation turns into greediness.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: April 07, 2020, 08:57:15 AM
Best way to HODL is buying in cheap and wait until it goes up it's value since if you can buy back once it goes down then it is good deal. But it will really depend on what you are buying if its BTC then it is good for long term but if its an altcoin then you may need to be aware that it could take months before the value it pump up even those top ranked altcoins we cannot make sure if the value will rise up.

That's why we need to make a research and analyzing and making prediction could help you be positive and not affect for those FOMOs and FUDs circulating in social media and forums.
When doing some long term hold you need to strengthen your emotional capability that can ease the time you will spending in waiting for the next bull run. Like this year it is very frustrating and it is very hard to hold when we need to sell it. But do not invest what we are afford to lose. It can vanish also, so better to choose a good coin.
