Pfffffff... The least TheSwede could do is come in and tell us there's no news yet!  Cheesy

I see, so there were some concerns about administration. I don't really pay attention to how quickly dividends are payed, but I can understand how this could be a problem for big holders or whoever wants to pull out shares.

I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea, so maybe read the last few pages of the G.ASICMINER-PT thread and see what you think.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=148827.280

Looks pretty messy to me, and not just dividend delays. And it seems to me as though Ukyo has confiscated someone's shares... Kind of a bold move, even if they were annoying him.

It's the 9th still in Europe and Asia. 10th was the date for hashing

Yep, it is a long way even to the very first second of the 10th, let alone a reasonable hour of it.

More than 30 bitcents of difference between bitfunder and btc-tc? I understand that fees are lower on btc-tc (and I can see how paying 4-5% more can be worth it if you're a day trader) but are there other reasons?

There's also been some long running issues with the administration & dividends of the PT on bitfunder.

Are dividends going to be paid weekly or monthly?

What are the first payed dividends going to be per share?

How much gets reinvested?

When exactly will hashing commence?

When will the increase in hashing occur and to what level?

Is there such a thing as LC hardware sales?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for quoting myself, but I'd really like answers to these questions.

Dividends will be paid twice weekly according to the contract.

Contract says bi-weekly (every 2 weeks)

To me bi-weekly mean twice a week. After cosulting google, it can mean either. So, looks like we're going to need clarification.

This is where the bi-weekly discussion should have ended. One way or another, it means different things to different people (I learnt), and even if we did spend a month tracking down the most valid definition, we still don't know if it's Labcoin's definition.

Is actm still planning to set up in Springfield Underground?

carpetbagger, 100% profit (revenue - total cost) means buy for 3 and sell for 6 or 50% cross margin.

You got me there. This thread is a tough crowd!

So say you place a sell order for 100 shares but then the share price falls suddenly by quite a bit. Could you be left trying to sell 100 shares that no one will buy?

Yes but you can simply cancel the order if you want.

Quote
And say if the share price falls and everyone then decides to sell there shares at the same time, if you want to be successful in selling them is it really about time and how quick you react to the fall in share price, or is it more about trying to predict when a share price may fall and selling it just before it falls?

You will be more successful if you can predict the moves before the rest of the herd. Something to keep in mind with that style of trading is that the sites often have issues with the sheer volume and speed involved. Just because your plan is to sell at x and buy at y doesn't mean it will necessarily play out like that.

Quote
Also say you want to by a particular number of shares say 317 shares and you place a buy order for that amount, do you have to wait for a seller to be selling that exact quantity 317 for the exact price you bid?

Your buy order will fill the first (up to 317) ask orders equal to or under your bid.

calculation to get some kind of an idea how many units must be sold to generate 4 667 689 USD in profits from hardware sales.

About 10.5 units

This is ActM so everything is 100% profit  Cool

(yes it's an old pic before anyone gets emotional)

Tip: I have the graphs at BitFunder disabled, when I want to see one I use coinflow, e.g. http://www.coinflow.co/chart/BF/btcQuick

Coinflow is just as slow as BF at generating charts for me.

if you like CEO talk a lot , go to get some shares of Activemining,  Ken is 24 HRs online....

you can't ask FC like Ken to stay 24 hours online ,to explaining every single question to every single investors.

You picked a truly terrible example SOS. Ken has not said a meaningful word to his shareholders for well over a month. Did you miss the whole ActM NDA farce?

^look for yourself, nothing but "dividend paid" and "sorry, can't talk about it".

FC is fine, don't ever change bro.

I own enough to express my disappointment at how things have progressed, zumzero.

Bargraph, it's a pretty simple point for you to miss entirely. Rewind back to the heady days of page one. How were you feeling about actm? Where did you expect actm to be on Sept 8th, 2013? Was it here? Redundantly informing us about how we absolutely certainly have chips months behind schedule?

I bought this stock to make a profit with, nothing more, nothing less. Well, less, as it turns out. Thank you for asking though.

Sorry VBS I wasn't trying to attack you or your estimates and wasn't after theatrical effect (didn't know there were multiple versions & you're missing the point anyway). It's fair to make estimates, just as it's fair for me to bag out a company for shitty performance. The point you should be gleaning is that everyone's estimates were wrong. Nobody in our worst dreams pictured things being quite this lackluster.

Yes, the easic deal is wonderful if it really really happens, but even then, it's a fraction of "the dream".

Was there actually an announcement that narrowed it right down to the second? The time on the countdown will be something like 4am in China.

No and if there was Labcoin would miss it anyway.

I tend to agree. Can only judge them on their previous actions.

They. Are. Not. The. Same. Package. Look carefully at the raised interior portion of the package.

Uh huh, and how are you even comparing the interiors when one is obscured from view by a sheet of plastic?

blah. blah. blah.
