Web3 is totally different from the blockchain. Web3.0 will work on blockchain as NFT, Defi, and other things work on blockchain. Web 3.0 will be fully decentralized.

I have no more information about your listed coins. I will suggest you research about Cosmos, Polygon, and Solona. These projects are doing great, cosmos has pumped well in this week. Cosmos has also a staking airdrops system so this coin has more investors due to this.

The prices of altcoins are increasing now from 2-3 days. Terra and Terra Classic have increased well these days. Lunc has increased almost 300% in just 3 days. Other tokens have increased a lot in these days. BTC has also reached 22K$ after a long wait. It's hope for the bullish market.

In your list, my favorite coins are Polygon (Matic) and Cosmos (Atom). Cosmos has pumped well in these 2 days, it has the potential to reach 100$ soon in a bull run. There are airdrops for staking Atoms too, so there are many investors in this coin. I am also holding it for the long term.

If you are holding good amount in different altcoins, then i think holding in different wallet is good idea. Because if hacker hacked a single wallet you will have still other wallets saved.

If you want to hold it in a hardware wallet then I suggest you not connect any site with the wallet, if you want to sell or buy any coin transfer that in any other wallet then buy/sell.

I think merge is not effecting the price of ethereum, because market is in serious condition. BTC has just started to pump that's good, but if it dumps again then Ethereum will dump also, so I think you shouldn't expect dump after merge.
