101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is micro trading possible? on: August 20, 2018, 04:05:43 AM
Is it possible to micro trade?  Total bank to risk 20$ in doge and trade with the intention of increasing the doge amount, not usd value.
It is possible to trade micro trade and risk only 20$ if you are gonna use doge. I suggest you use exchanges like cryptopia to trade in doge to any altcoin pair. Also, it would be better for you to hold anything that you will trade long-term rather than short-term. You will profit more when you are micro trading long-term because of the chance of higher profit(especially in high-risk altcoins).
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: A.I. and value of the Bitcoin! on: August 19, 2018, 11:11:46 PM
can we create an artificial intelligence that will predict the incoming value of bitcoin or any certain coin? The problem with Artificial intelligence is that it cannot be smarter than us so the moment a product like that has been invented.
It can be smarter than us given that it has been given enough information in the programming process to do so and if it is programmed to learn by itself.
AI has already come incredibly far in these last 5 years, and it's only a matter of time before Engineers develop a recursive self-improving AI. AI that learns how to program a better version of itself.
It would be nice if engineers develop a self-improving AI with the capacity of predicting cryptocurrency prices only but it would be scary if it is an AI meant to think like a human and have a brain like us. It might betray its creator and we might be able to witness the Armageddon if that happens. I just hope that before it is developed, we will at least have a countermeasure against it if the worst possible scenario happens.

104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Help! Jr. Member on: August 19, 2018, 08:38:09 AM
What would I do once I become a Junior Member
You can start by widening your knowledge about crypto. To do just that, I suggest you browse other sections on this forum more often. Reading threads mostly on off-topic section and beginners and help will not help you achieve it. For starters, try reading more threads on bitcoin discussion, speculation, economics, and altcoins section until you can fully participate in the discussions and make constructive posts.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Ethereum still have a future? Read this before you answer on: August 19, 2018, 06:25:04 AM
I agree with most of the points in your post OP but for now, I am still bullish on ETH because of this two reasons:
Casper PoS is now expected in 2019, sharding in 2020/21.
It will somehow generate a new trend next year and in 2020 as well making ETH still profitable for speculations. Until then, I am bullish on ETH.
Use cases for Ethereum:
Even with Ethereum's use case's trend(which is tokenization) declining, some people will still use it because of its other use cases. Also, some people will still prefer tokenizing with Ethereum which will somehow make it survive long term. It is there to stay IMO.

107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Role does Exchanges Play in Fighting Pump and Dump? on: August 17, 2018, 09:50:52 PM
Do you think exchanges can do anything about this menace?
Exchange can somehow lessen pump and dump schemes if they strictly prohibit price manipulation on their exchanges and dedicate themselves to it 24/7. Although that is the case, most exchanges does not seriously fight for pump and dump schemes since they also earn a hefty sum of money from the fees of those trades and strict ban of it would greatly affect their profit.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEWS Venezuela plans to create a cryptocurrency Central Bank on: August 16, 2018, 11:38:48 PM
Yeah, but this test would be void if the dummy is already blown apart at a molecular level.
Maybe they were already observing Venezuelan economy silently long before it was blown apart. If they are then this test would not be void since they have already gathered a lot of useful data.
I think that crypto can help these poor countries a lot to make their economics more stable.
Believe me it won't. Cryptocurreny and bitcoin cannot help a poor country pay out a debt unless it is helping them gather a hefty sum of money from taxes of many crypto dealings.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where can blockchain help to tackle fraud and prevent scams? on: August 15, 2018, 01:16:24 PM
It made me wonder, where else could the blockchain help to tackle fraud and help to prevent scams etc?  l]
Blockchain being integrated into a national voting system for democratic countries would be nice to hear since it would prevent cheating during elections. It might not prevent fraud, but at least it will help determine who the people really voted. Also, a successful implementation of blockchain in national ID systems will greatly help in making identity fraud lesser.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: The new world currency in 2018? on: August 14, 2018, 12:31:50 PM
The is a global currency. It's calles US dollar. No cryptocurrency has the strenght to change the US dollar status quo.
Cryptocurrency might not have enough strength to change the US dollar status quo, but IMO there are more currencies out there that might help that prediction become accurate. The currencies that have the strength to change the US dollar status quo IMO is gold, silver or any other fiat currency of a powerful nation that is rapidly developing(like China for example).
111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Choosing good One.. on: August 13, 2018, 01:09:35 PM
I assume you are talking about bounty campaign right?
He definitely is based on his post history. If that is the case, his question has been asked and answered for a couple of times already.
I am new here can you tell me how can i choose good one for me...Huh
OP, please learn to search using the search function of this forum first before asking questions. If you cannot find your answer using it, you can try to google the answer to it. There are a lot of search results in Google that can answer your question(although it will point you out on older bitcointalk threads).
112  Economy / Economics / Re: BANKS offers LOANS. on: July 28, 2018, 10:14:45 PM
I think with this, trading would be a lot more easier, am I wrong?
It would only be beneficial for the banks because they will earn more profitable than before. For traders, I'd say that they would profit less or if they lost it on altcoins, they would kiss their collateral goodbye.
Escrows will have an easier way to get money from other individuals.
They won't, escrows are not needed to get a loan from the bank, and they won't need it even if they allowed their customers to get loan via Bitcoin. It would just be the same as getting an ordinary loan but you will get btc for it.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perfect amount of coins for staking. on: July 27, 2018, 09:17:08 PM
Is there a perfect amount of coins to stake for any specific coin?
So long as your coins are not that few(or above 100 depending on the coin you are staking), any amount above 5$(in current value) would do.
i've heard some people say that there is a disadvantage to holding a large amount of coins in one wallet instead of holding many wallet with moderate amounts of coins.
They are right since holding a lot of coins in one coin is riskier than holding it in many wallets with moderate amount of coins. There is a chance that you will gain profit better when holding it in many wallets and it is very likely for you to lose your money when the coin you heavily invested into dumped a lot(when you are bagholding a lot of coins without investing on others).
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India’s law reform committee is in favor of Cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2018, 12:32:53 PM
The law commission of India, which has been studying the feasibility of sports gambling, has clubbed virtual currency with other legally accepted modes of payments.
Are you referring to this news? If so, then you are mistaken. It is clearly stated there that Indian regulators might treat cryptocurrency as a commodity, and not as an alternative mode of payment. Either way, I think them looking at the bright side of what bitcoin and other cryptos offer for once is better rather than seeing them retaliating with a countrywide ban.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading style on: July 24, 2018, 12:46:21 PM
I do not think I'm wasting time with this method
You are because there are only a few coins that will fit your criteria and you won't be able to pick 25 coins based on the criteria you have set. Either way, you can go for coins that have a chance for growth to fill those 25 spots even if it is not that high when they dump. At the very least, you won't need to waste that much time and the potential for profit is higher than when you will pick fewer coins(but the risk is also higher).
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin nearing %50 crypto marketcap domination on: July 23, 2018, 09:45:10 PM
Are we going back to sanity (80%+ of Bitcoin marketcap dominance) or this is a short lived period in which people are scared to be left holding bags and people sell to BTC temporally before the altcoin insanity continues?
It is only a temporary period where people are going back to BTC not just because of people being scared to be left holding bags, I believe the current crypto market is in the period where people are taking profit from the altcoin market to the bitcoin market. They might buy another set of alts to bet on, or they can just continue to hold it as is for the next bitcoin pump.
117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Split Bitcoin blockchain between SSD & HDD and speed up the initial sync on: July 22, 2018, 12:30:24 PM
Thanks for the guide but can this be used also for splitting bitcoin blockchain between SSD and an external HDD or will it only work on internal hard drives? I've wanted to do it because I want to save space as much as possible on internal storage spaces to lessen lag on my Personal Computer when using it daily while running a full node myself.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investment strategy on: July 21, 2018, 11:10:39 PM
Now after long recession in the market; bitcoin has started looking upwards.  In my opinion this is the time when one should enter in the market.  If you are interested in medium term investment; you should start now. Because once the price rise to higher levels coins will be costing you higher.
This time indeed is a good time to enter the market but it ain't the best. IMO, the best time one has got to enter the market is when a coin(especially coins that have a solid background and have real use cases) has been severely dumped from an all-time high. You might wait long but it would surely be profitable if you wait long enough.
119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Trivia on: July 20, 2018, 11:22:22 AM
but on the other hand, who knew then that today bitcoin will cost so much!
If that bitcoin pizza guy held his bitcoin up to date, bitcoin wouldn't achieve the heights it has reached now because of the volume of bitcoin transactions not being enough today. This interview might catch the interest of anyone wanting to know about Laszlo's and Jercos' current status, here is the link for the article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-pizza-guy-laszlo-hanyecz-on-why-bitcoin-is-still-the-only-flavor-of-crypto-for-him
120  Economy / Economics / Re: the life of the society venezuela depends on crypto on: July 19, 2018, 09:42:48 PM
That story is mentioned in the thread I've shared in my reply.
There were plans of sending millions of Bitcoins to Venezuelans, I have to idea what the progress on that is.
It's good to see that there are bitcoin-related initiatives though.
Sorry, I haven't read your last reply enough to not see that article is the same as the one in your reply. I'll just edit my last reply and remove that link. Anyways, it's nice to hear that there were plans at least to help Venezuelans using bitcoin, I have read the medium article that you have linked and noticed that it was made way back February 16, 2018 are there no updates regarding it?
