The President wants to do the same thing to drug trafficking that China did to corruption and Roland did to corrupt leaders in Ghana.

China executed everyone convicted of corrupt acts and a former president of Ghana (Roland), bombed all corrupt leaders ruining the country and later became president himself. I must say that those actions were quite effective in cleansing the two countries.

Armory will make you more anonymous but electrum is much lighter to download. Both are safe... not as safe as paper wallets though.

About time they made some improvements on the bitcoin blockchain to prevent it from becoming outdated.

I tried setting the fees manually on electrum, but it would not go lower than 0.0001btc. Just kept saying the transaction won't be broadcasted, guess manual setting is not so manual after all.

Bitcoin core is quite heavy, it will take some time to download it... paper wallets are still some of the safest out there.
