101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 08, 2017, 05:36:11 AM
In trading, if you have a strategy, you don't need luck to be on your side. Trading is more professional than gambling. You can earn on your own without making somebody broke. Trading can help you analyze, read, and look into the psychology of the market. Gambling is just pure luck, I mean, you can't do anything to win if you got the bad cards. So I must say that trading is always better than gambling.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 08, 2017, 05:28:40 AM
It has all the element that can make somebody addicted to it. First, there's the promise of money as a reward. I mean, who does not like money? And when you win, that means, money for you. So people keep coming to gambling hoping to win them some money. Then there's also a since of excitement. It's like playing soccer, or basketball where shooting the ball rely on your luck and your skill. With that kind of excitement, people will look that kind of feeling, so they gamble again and again. and of course, it's a goods way to kill time if you're not doing anything.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: September 08, 2017, 05:01:14 AM
About the difference of trading and investing would be in trading you trade an item or goods at a person or from the market then you immediately have the traded item handed out to you which have the same price as the item that you are trading.  But in investing you prepare for the future means you might buy several items or things that you will be using but instead of trading it immediately you hold on to that item and waited for the price to be higher before selling it. That's why investing and trading is like two sides of a same coin, but the great thing about this is that you can do trading and investing at the same time. You can't trade half of your item to get an immediate return while investing and holding on to the other half for future use.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: September 08, 2017, 04:41:23 AM
We can make money on forex but it will depend on the person trading on forex,  since trading your stocks on forex is a risky and there's a lot of chances that you might loose everything in just a blink of an eye. Stocks in forex depends on the flow of quantity and demand of the company who trades their stocks. You must look at every angle and always be updated on the news since one event could trigger if the price on the stock market will fall or rise.  That's why forex trading which is one of the biggest stock market is too risky at the same time rewarding to those who knows how to play the game.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 08, 2017, 04:25:36 AM
If I will be asked if i will choose Bitcoin or gold I would choose gold over bitcoin since gold is the proven human worthy currency since ancient times and up to now gold is still considered a person and a nations wealth. I know Bitcoin price is increasing but there's a lot of disadvantage of bitcoin specially on a technological perspective that if you don't have a device or electricity you wont be able to trade bitcoins which is a digital currency but gold on the other hand maybe heavy physically would be the steady currency of man unaffected and still admired by people.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 04:02:52 AM
When it comes to holding gold and bitcoin would be for future preparedness,  this is already a proven and most effective way to survive even if there is an economic collapse in a specific country like Venezuela which several people who holds much wealth are the people who prepared before their nation experienced an economic meltdown which in case would be the people who holds gold and of course bitcoin which is now one of their lifeline to survive in their country. They can trade gold or bitcoins for food and other necessities that they need and according to a report that using bitcoins or gold you can already buy a house in the current Venezuela.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 08, 2017, 03:26:37 AM
If i have $500 as my initial amount to be used for investing I probably be investing that amount to Bitcoin, since investing in Bitcoin is a proven good investment and it is growing more popular everyday its a great opportunity to invest that amount while bitcoin is still at a good pace and gaining more support not just from ordinary people but also from well known business minded individuals  and some politicians, this will trigger an effect of more demand for Bitcoins. More demand means prices will go up.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: September 08, 2017, 03:21:50 AM
The current trading strategy that I recommend trying to do right now is the buy and hold strategy, this strategy is mostly used in stocks.  We buy and hold a stock until the prices went up then we sell that stock at a higher price,  it takes a lot of time and patience to accomplish this long waiting game of buy and hold but the good thing about this is it guarantees you that you have a good amount of stocks at hand to be traded once it hit the price you want.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 08, 2017, 03:07:10 AM
For me the best way for steady income would be doing the job that you like which you will earn a monthly income while building up a good investment which you can use if things go bad. Some people thinks that after you gained a good source of income from investing will be the right time to resign from their regular work but according to economists that would be a wrong decision since investments can even fail since it can be compared to a starting up franchise which you don't know yet if it will survive or you will need to close down. That's why always maintain your job to still have a stable income
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 07, 2017, 02:40:53 PM
Well, I think, other than just buying them directly at the nearest convenience store, mining can be a great source of bitcoin. However, there are a lot of scammers online, making you believe that they are legit bitcoin mining sites. After you have invested so much time, effort and money, they will leave you hanging. I have experience that several times. You can continue mining, but make sure that you are working with legit companies and website. Do your homework by checking the programs and platforms before joining. I recommend to buy than to mine.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: September 07, 2017, 02:26:19 PM
Well, who knows. Nowadays, nothing is impossible online. Only time can tell if bitcoin can overcome paypal. After all, it's not only about bitcoin and paypal, there are hundreds, and maybe even thousands of currencies online and payment portals available. Paypal users, especially the happy campers will definitely stay using the platform. However, there's always a competition and if PayPal won't do anything to innovate their service, they will be defeated by not only bitcoin but by other new generation payment portals available in the world wide web nowadays.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: September 07, 2017, 02:12:32 PM
Explaining a bitcoin to a clueless teenagers or childfres is like describing a unicorn to the kids. They maybe amazed about it, but they don't exactly believe it. I guess the most effective way to explain is to show them your bitcoin wallet. Show them how much bitcoin you owned and how to convert it and how to withdraw it. Everything must be visual because it's hard tp explain and tell stories about something virtual. Maybe talk about it over a cup of coffee and explain about how powerful it is to invest in bitcoin and how it is important to the future of humanity.
113  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: September 07, 2017, 01:39:48 PM
No doubt about the power of social media. This is the place where you can best pick your resources and share it with other people. Post something about  Bitcoin on your respective social media accounts. Curious people will always ask about it and answer their questions as much as you can. Talking about it with family members or friends is also a good way to spread the news about bitcoin.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: September 07, 2017, 12:57:22 PM
I think the easiest way to explain bitcoin to kids and to help them understand it better is by using analogy. Ask them what material things they know are valuable aside from money. If they answer,  say for example, gold, then use gold as an analogy. Like, it's not money, but you can actually trade it with money. Then put a little comparison that gold is a physical valuable while bitcoin is a virtual valuable.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 12:33:34 PM
As bitcoin is a new technology, it is still a fresh concept to most of us. We don't know more about it yet, so we couldn't fully put our full confidence on it as well as to other cryptocurrencies existing in the market. Cash is better than bitcoin because we can hold it, we can touch it and we can spend it without going through the hassle of using our mobile phones and connecting to the internet. Most of all, we are already used to cash than bitcoin.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: September 01, 2017, 09:40:01 AM
I don’t we can exactly predict when will Bitcoin completely absorb all the planet’s finances. I just think that it would be long process. The process of informing people the existence of Bitcoin alone is slow going. It would also be hard and complicated.

I don’t think that banks and governments will give in easily. Some banks and governments will fight Bitcoin in every step of the way. So I imagine that all if this will be long, arduous process in the long, arduous process of adapting Bitcoin as the new currency.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 01, 2017, 09:14:50 AM
As I said to other topics, technology should develop and advance hand-in-hand with the country and its people. A country cannot develop when its government is not functional (i.e. corrupt) and a government cannot function properly when it rejects technological advancements that will make jobs efficient and easier.

A government should adapt new ways not reject it and should not cling to the old ways. This would not be easy, of course. For some reason, politicians are allergic to change especially if it’s financially beneficial to them. And of course there’s also the shit ton of red tapes that seem to decorate every branch and offices of every level of government.

There should be at least an event that will impact their decisions. An event big enough that will warrant attention and force their hands to get on with the times. If they don’t listen to their constituents, burgeoning force is one answer.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 01, 2017, 08:27:00 AM
It's not impossible, I guess, but it's hard. To have sustainability in our quality of life, we should also have a source of income that can sustain us. The cost of accommodation, food and water, electric  and water bills and other bills such as phone and internet bills are the things that our income should afford. We should take these things into account if we think of foregoing a traditional job and concentrating on Bitcoin. Lucky on those who are living off Bitcoin and does not need an 8-5 job. But for us who are not so lucky, we have to grind and work hard.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: September 01, 2017, 07:23:40 AM
YES, we should definitely be making alliances with innovative technologies. The advancement of technology should go hand-in-hand with the advancement of a country and its people. To achieve this we should be open minded to innovations and should encourage these kinds of innovations to technology and science. The growth of Bitcoin depends on us, if you realize it. The advancement of Bitcoin depends on the advancements of technology that will sustain it.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 01, 2017, 06:52:54 AM
I haven't quit gambling but I'm still on the process. Just recently I fucked up. By the way, I have to give up having the control of my own money. Remembering the days again I was blowing every cent I had. And more, I was way out of control. I don't want to remember the past, I want to feel the scenery that I've never felt this good in a long time. Sometimes listening a lot of motivation stuff would you a changes but it will take a long process. I would like to say that I never want to go back to that period of my life hitting the rock bottom. Quit while you're ahead.
