101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: June 25, 2021, 03:49:22 PM
The growth will soon end as the meme coin's use case is still limited. When the bull market is over we will see DOGE drop sharply and it is unlikely to return to the ATH of $0.68.
DOGE's price rise was driven by sharks and Elon Musk's tweets. That is fragile and unstable.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 25, 2021, 03:45:13 PM
Once again crypto traders must review their trading behavior. I call this CEO's disappearance with money a scam. It is now important to research an exchange's reputation before trading. Cryptocurrency-related loss events are becoming alarming lately.
AMM can be the next stop for traders.

104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: June 21, 2021, 01:17:39 PM
After such a long time, many coins simply will not survive. Trust only to those who stood at the origins of the technology. As time has shown, the best investments are only in these coins.
Investing in crypto is a high-risk venture so even large investment funds are likely to lose money when the project goes bankrupt. We buy crypto and risk more than mutual funds so if you invest in crypto forget them, money has been thrown out the window.
The only way to beat the market is to invest in the deepest bear market and wait for the market to rise again.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall below $30,000? The high-yield risk opportunities are in MEME? on: June 21, 2021, 01:04:14 PM
Not only the coin meme but DEFI, NFT and many more altcoins will plummet in price. Right now Bitcoin is down and the domain BTC.D is up, altcoins will fall many times stronger than Bitcoin. The loss is happening, everyone is not brave to buy or sell right now because the crypto they are holding may increase or decrease in price.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: June 19, 2021, 01:50:13 PM
In addition to money, life experience, health, knowledge, respect for people, and a happy family are my conception of success. This life is very short and we can't just rush into making money, we have to live for what we love and contribute to society.
Warren Buffet has an interesting concept: "If you are the luckiest of the rich 1% in the world, you owe it to humanity to think that it should always take care of the other 99%."
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: June 19, 2021, 01:43:03 PM
Governments can ban gold but they cannot ban crypto because it exists, moves on blockchain and the internet. That's the second thing the government can't prevent.
One country banned the use of gold and cryptocurrencies as payment because it couldn't control them and was worried it would affect the value of the national currency. For major economies like the US, Europe has different regulations for adopting cryptocurrencies and the share of cryptocurrencies is small compared to their entire economies.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if company allocate 90% token for stake reward on: June 19, 2021, 01:35:15 PM
90% of the amount is the staking bonus which will be mined by the remaining 10%. So those who add initial liquidity and reinvest regularly will get the most tokens. While it looks tempting, this may not be sustainable as dumping will occur once the original bet has been withdrawn.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: June 18, 2021, 03:46:31 PM
I invested in KICK, REAL. These two projects still exist but the return is quite low compared to the amount of money I have spent. I also invested more than 5000$ in Oyster, then the CEO of the project printed more tokens and dumped them. The project has become a dead project. I failed in investing, it can be said that the money made so far has been blown away.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: June 18, 2021, 03:13:17 PM
75% off in pre-sale is too big and it's more like the project is looking for a way to get investors' money. I would consider going into a project like this if it didn't live up to my standards. In 2017 ICO projects sprouted up quickly and the price drop was quite attractive. Now ICOs are no longer relevant because people no longer like them. Being able to put at 50% off is reasonable for the pre-sale, 75% seems a bit too much.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Maximalism on: June 16, 2021, 03:41:23 PM
In terms of technology, Bitcoin will only have upgrades but they always fade because the source code is difficult to upgrade aggressively. Altcoins are built entirely new code but the problem is there are too many altcoins and they are not really decentralized like Bitcoin.
People are used to Bitcoin as a long-term and reliable investment. It is separate from blockchain, even those who are not knowledgeable about crypto and blockchain are still actively investing in Bitcoin.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: June 16, 2021, 03:15:06 PM
The world has more money than before, inflation occurs in various commodities and so does food. Prices of rice, corn, wheat... are rising silently. Maybe we'll see them double their current size in a few years. That is inevitable.
I call it the new supercycle.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 16, 2021, 03:10:47 PM
I would choose to pay 40% of my income to own a home in the long term. It can also be considered a good investment.
Choosing to rent a house for $ 15 monthly and thinking about going around can leave them empty-handed in the future. Moving doesn't bring us much value. We must perceive the world. Having a home we can settle down to get more jobs and focus on work. The more years we have experience in an industry, the higher our income potential and the sooner the house will be paid off.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: June 11, 2021, 02:47:46 AM
As someone with 5 years of experience in the crypto market, I am certain that no altcoin can overturn Bitcoin.
All crypto moves are based on the movement of bitcoin.
Elon Musk lifts Doge, he can put it down. So the intrinsic value of DOGE is almost zero. Doge is just a short-term hype and it won't last long in the crypto space.
116  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Massive drop in Hashrate (50%) ~100 ExH/S on: June 10, 2021, 03:03:01 PM
Under the Chinese government's crackdown on Bitcoin mining farms, the Bitcoin mining hash rate is decreasing.

china announced a crackdown of mining farms in coal power plant regions
since 2014 mining farms have never set up farms in those locations.
they had already decided to set up in regions of renewable and enjoy special electric price contracts in those regions because of renewables.
thus. non-big-deal

Thanks, I used to think that Bitcoin mining factories were shrinking because of the government. So the Chinese bans we hear about now are just a repeat of the old laws they applied.
Hardware upgrade is the main reason for the decrease in the Hash rate. I believe Bitcoin's hash rate and value will continue to set new ATHs. A good time to buy Bitcoin could be now.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think are the most promising long term coins on Coinbase right now? on: June 10, 2021, 06:48:21 AM
ATOM and ALGO are two blockchain platforms that are capable of executing smart contracts and are well worth the investment when their capitalization is quite potential compared to platforms with the same functionality. These two blockchains are building NFT, AMM and other applications are gradually being built by different developers although the speed is still not high.
FIL is also a cryptocurrency worth investing in as it is a blockchain lab with diverse tools for developers to create content on the platform. The marketing, code development and support of the miners they are doing are very smooth.
118  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Massive drop in Hashrate (50%) ~100 ExH/S on: June 10, 2021, 06:34:55 AM
Under the Chinese government's crackdown on Bitcoin mining farms, the Bitcoin mining hash rate is decreasing. In the future, the hash rate will recover and increase as miners will upgrade equipment and find a favorable place to continue mining.

Information about a 50% drop in hash rate is incorrect. You can check it out at the following link

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks from large financial institutions entering the crypto market . on: June 10, 2021, 06:19:42 AM
Perhaps you will be surprised by the title of this topic, as we have always assumed that the participation of large institutions in the crypto market will have positive effects because:
+ Crypto is advertised and became popular with the community;
+ Value of crypto accepted;
+ The increase in buying pressure causes token prices to be pushed up.

However, everything is not just pink. I realize that besides such advantages, the participation of financial institutions creates a number of risks as follows:
+Financial institutions are likely to use crypto in the art of accounting like Tesla did with BTC. Crypto will become a tool to manipulate financial reporting metrics rather than an investment;
+Financial institutions have bought a lot of crypto and they will sell a lot of crypto: this happens when financial institutions want to take profits or offset losses. This sell-off will create a huge drop as ICO projects sold out huge amounts of BTC & ETH in 2018 after successful funding. Financial institutions are not the place to burn tokens ^^

What do you think about this? Will the participation of financial institutions have a positive or negative impact on the crypto market in long term?

The risks of investment funds getting involved are clear. The things you mentioned above happen in crypto and happen in stocks and other markets.
The benefit that I see with financial institutions coming to crypto is legal recognition and market capitalization expansion.
Investment funds will make the cryptocurrency market grow faster and more professionally.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Don't Want To Hear Anybody Crying When BTC Will Reach 1M Per Coin! on: June 09, 2021, 04:23:49 PM
Investment is always inherently risky. Many people borrow to invest and have to cut their losses to pay off their debt. The market always has buyers and sellers so we see bear markets.
Opportunities are open to everyone and sometimes vision is clouded by immediate profits. The Bitcoin market is like that, always growing in doubt.
And would really be an endless cycle and its true that vision could really be clouded simply by your greed or in terms of profits.People are really hurrying up to see some outcome which would always result into doing some certain things which would mainly affect their good decisioning towards their investment. I dont really believe about 1M per coin but we know that there would always be possibilities in related to that and its up to someone
on how far they could go or simple how they do believe on with Bitcoin on achieving such milestone that no one could really ever anticipated.

The market always repeats what happened to it. Even those who have experience with the market can make mistakes so people often say that Bitcoin is for holding.
I believe that the holders always win. The truth is that there are wallets that work again after more than 10 years of Bitcoin investing.
