Block Erupter Blade support for p2pool - Bounty
Current bounty: 5 BTC

I would like to make ASIC Block Erupter Blades 13GH/s working with p2pool. ASICs support for p2pool is very important for p2pool survival.
I am giving 5 BTC bounty for developer who will make them working on p2pool. Bounty will be paid to developer or split between group of developers who will contribute to solving the problem.
If you guys have BE Blades too, please let me know. I can arrange escrow via John K. (or I can collect funds directly, I am trusted forum member, please check my OTC), once we gather more funds maybe one of our developers will be interested to look closer to this problem.
I myself can donate my Blade worktime for a developer to make debug and testing, please let me know.
PM me if you a developer and you would like to get access to my BE Blade and to my Linux server for debug purposes. Please help:)
PM me if you a BE Blade user and you d'love to see your blades hashing on p2pool to - let's gather more BTC for our honest developers.

Regards
Lenny

Have you tried it?  What kind of stats are you getting?

I'm running 10 AM USB sticks on p2pool and getting over 100% efficiency.

so we know asicminer chips can work with p2pool - it just need better software Wink usb sticks works bcoz they are using cgminer or bfgminer. On blade you cant use those programs Sad. Maybe cgminer devs can make they own stratum proxy build in cgminer so blades can be seen in cgminer program ? Tongue that would be awesome

Anyone know a way around the Blades resetting to a low clock after being disconnected from a pool for a while ? Consistently happens for me when Bitminter goes offline Sad

i had the same problem after switch to high clock after restart it was low, then i hit update/restart button after switching to high clock and now its always high Wink

[2013-04-28 22:31:23] Stratum connect succeeded, but technical problem extracti

same - crashes on bfgminer 3.0 and 2.10.6 with ztex and 6950 im on bitminter too
2.10.5 was stable
cgminer 2.11.4 is stable too
im using backup pools and i think problem is in this;)
It sounds like you might be able to reproduce the crash easily?
If so, are you willing to go through a series of test builds (preferrably on IRC) to track down the cause?

Thanks,

Luke

no sorry :/ i cant reproduce this easily it happens after 1h or after 10h
if needed im sitting at freenode #bitminter with same nick

118  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Avalon from #1 batch on: March 30, 2013, 02:12:17 AM
is it really only 4btc per day ? - it should be 14BTC with 65000mh/s so its only 2 months to pay back for itself

edit: nvm Wink it was x3 ;p
119  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overc monit fanspd RPC stratum linux/windws/osx/mip/r-pi 2.11.3 on: March 18, 2013, 12:39:51 PM
Platform:
windows 7 ultimate 64bit
cgminer 2.10.5, 2.11.2, 2.11.3
HD6950 2GB with unlocked shaders oc to 830mhz

Commandline:
x:\xxxx\cgminer-2.10.5-win32\cgminer.exe -o http://xxx:1234 -u xxx -p xxx -o http://xxx2:5678 -u xxx -p xxx

cmd window stops refreshing after i use switch user feature......

with x:\xxxx\cgminer-2.10.5-win32\cgminer.exe --compact -o http://xxx:1234 -u xxx -p xxx -o http://xxx2:5678 -u xxx -p xxx  it works ok - so maybe problem is somewhere in gpu monitoring
GPU monitoring requires  constant same-user access to the values. This is a known OS limitation and there is no workaround if you are switching users.

thx for reply ckolivas - maybe its completly diferent i have no idea, but i just check on gpu-z sensors tab and it works fine i can switch user and come back and its still working, so maybe there is some trick Tongue - anyway i can live with --compact feature

cmd window stops refreshing after i use switch user feature - when im back to administrator account the cmd window shows last status of cgminer and it does not changing anymore, same hash power same tmp everything its freezed - it doesnt react on any keys like Q i need to close window manually
my gfx card before closing but with this freezed cgminer window open seems still minning, it stops when i close this window by clicking on X

when i add to commandline -T switch it works fine i can switch users and after im back to my account its still ok. But i dont like this it does not show many items like temperature etc i dont want to use another tool like gpu-z. Cgminer without -T looks really nice

So anybody had similar problem? Or any ideas what to do to fix that?

regards
