101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC relation with BTC as of husband and wife :) on: November 22, 2020, 10:53:13 PM
I have no idea how did you get $256 but the potential of LTC was huge before Charlie Lee(owner of the project) has announced that he sold his entire portfolio and dumped to the investors. After a tweet, everyone has joined the Lee and the price has dipped more, IIRC. Don't be like Charlie and play responsibly. The Litecoin price has been dumped intentionally and this was my biggest palm face after checking the reasons why Litecoin price has been dumped so much after a long time bullish trend during 2018.
102  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins on: November 22, 2020, 09:40:25 PM
It is still safe if you can get your BTC by using the escrow function unless you wait for the buyer to send the money to a bank account without escrow, Localbitcoin is safe for this exchange method. The social engineering methods are widely used by scammers who can buy the old LB accounts in Reddit but be careful and verify the signed BTC address of the seller. Unless you receive the funds never release the escrow and you are good to go.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: November 22, 2020, 09:15:09 PM
Have seen many advice on doing your own research but barely seen thread that discuss research as a skill in cryptocurrency especially with its crowdfund. The whole years of master/Ph.D is learning to do research, so it an intelligent skill. It can be taught and should be taught here, lets talk about accessing information on team, ICO and products. How to know if the information is genuine. It will of easier to assess a genuine information if it can be accessed.
Having a Ph.D. or graduating from high school is not a sign of intelligence, especially in crypto trading. The ICO or other forms of crowdfunding doesn't run on full logic and mainly depend on the interest of investors and market situation. There are ICO analysis sites that can offer a premium package of ICOs and it will be more time friendly rather than looking for each team member individually. The academic background is important of the face person of the project but the investors don't invest in the study or education of the CEO, they look for profit which can be done with smart management.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 22, 2020, 08:24:18 PM
Nice comparison but it will not change my opinion. The Stake team has done many things for completing the steps toward the perfect sports betting bookies but Nitrogen still lacks many available betting features for pro bookies. I didn't use Nitrogen for 8 months but have made many bets on Stake since the first quarter of the current year. The final choice is Stake due to the mentioned reasons but I miss the days when I was betting on the Bet365 or Bwin. The second to none live betting features are not available on both crypto-based gambling bookies, unfortunately.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a better fit for payment solutions? on: November 21, 2020, 10:56:06 PM
The transactions in second are much higher in the XRP network and that is why many competitors have not tried to join the payment method partnerships. The Ripple is one of the fastest blockchains and the price will reflect the true value in the next 5 years unless another strong competitor enters the market. The payment processing feature of the XRP network is the main purpose why the demand by the majority of crypto investors increases every year after year.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 21, 2020, 09:58:34 PM
I agree, we need more decent people in the crypto space not only in bounty campaigns. The professional bounty managers know how to handle the problems that happen in every campaign and they accept the fair decision, from my experience. The scam campaigns can't get in touch with the pro bounty managers. This is not true for inexperienced bounty managers and participants. The professional bounty managers know when to cut the partnership or agreement with the scam project and choose the better ones, IMHO.
107  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit account freezed withdrawal on: November 21, 2020, 09:18:57 PM
Yobit's support is quite bad, the request response is quite long, you have to be prepared to wait. Go to the support at the site, don't spam on their twitter.
I wish good luck to get a response from Yobit support, the weeks sometimes months are not enough to hear back. I remember the old days when I was trading small sh*coins on Yobit and made over 0.1BTC, later Yobit management has blocked my account. I had written to the support email, opened a ticket and the support team has answered the ticker after 5 months. The answer was no solution, they have asked the source of funds which I can't prove anyway.
108  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to "take profit" in Kraken on: November 20, 2020, 10:32:32 PM
@hosseinimr93 Thanks for good reply  Smiley

I appreciate if you could also reply these questions
A) I would like to do some Bitcoin demo trades on Kraken before I do live trades. As I see, Kraken does not offer demo account. What is the best way for me to do?

B) Is there an online fee calculator? I would like to have a better understanding for the fees with the leverage.
Let me answer these questions with direct links:
AFAIK, there is trading bots which can calculate the exact rollover fee, trading fee before opening the trade.

B) https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/201893638-How-trading-fees-work-on-Kraken
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 20, 2020, 10:10:38 PM
I have bought a few tickets on Eurolotto but have no idea how to play lotto. Just tried my luck and lost. By the way, there are bingo boards on the different gambling websites which offer a variety of bingo games. Is the Bingo same as the lotto or there are differences in the appliance odds, payouts? BTW, there are small gambling websites that offer a provably fair lottery but have never touched this type of lottery game. The first luck 2 numbers or the first 3 lucky numbers are very hard for me to predict. Always losses are bigger than a single win in lottery games.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 09:49:00 PM
Ripple is centralized and has no capacity to replace Bitcoin, maybe in the future the real use cases of the XRP network will be demanded more than BTC. The top altcoins have the potential to replace each other except Bitcoin. The total marketcap of Bitcoin as the digital gold can not be replaced for the next 100 years, IMHO. The Ripple CEO has announced the long way for reaching the desired level by the Ripple team but I don't predict the XRP price will hit more than $5 for the next 5 years due to the huge market supply.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum: $500, $400, or $800? on: November 20, 2020, 09:11:13 PM
Ethereum 2.0 is the much expected one. The launch won't cause any immediate effect on the market. It'll take time to cope up with the market. As of now we've crossed $500, upon the same reaching $1000 isn't a big deal. Probably we'll reach $1000 soon, because now ethereum seems to grow parallel to bitcoin. The growth percentage of ethereum is low, but there is continued growth.
You are right, the expectations are high but the lack of any major feature on the next launch can cause a flash crash on the volatile crypto market. The current uptrend on ETH charts is caused by the hype of BTC demand, not because of ETH 2.0. I am sure the crypto market investors will price the ETH 2.0 before the launch and they never do this after the event, from my experience. The HYPE will die but the technical reasons will survive for a long time to save the reasons for the pump.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big difference Bitcoin and other top altcoins on: November 19, 2020, 10:59:11 PM
Of course, total supply and real use cases are completely different. I don't see a reason to compare the altcoins and BTC, maybe in the future top 10 altcoins will be replaced by the other projects but it is too early to talk about these possible changes. Time will tell which altcoins have a better potential to replace the top ones but BTC is still unbeatable among all cryptocurrencies. Choosing from the top altcoins is not risky but the reward will be small compared the investing in the small altcoins which can give an x500 or x2000 ROI after the few years.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 08:45:52 PM
Unlikely it will happen for the obvious reasons, there are always potentially better projects. The DOT project was released before 2018 and the Ethereum developers have made a better development over scalability. In terms of price and marketcap, I doubt the Polkadot price will surge enough to pass the ETH marketcap. The long way for the reaching the ATH is waiting for the Polkadot investors because the other alternative blockchains will be invented after the strong demand.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 16, 2020, 10:37:39 PM
Digital currency spied by government agencies is not different from current cashless bank accounts, the purpose of crypto decentralization is a completely different idea. The financial system should only be monitored by states, the intervenes or taking control can change economy as a very bad consequences. The FED will not be interested to support new innovative cashless society ideas. If society is not ready for this challenge, spending billion on any industry will not be a profitable investment, this idea is true for government-backed cryptocurrencies.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 16, 2020, 08:23:48 PM
Gambling can be definitely addictive from time to time. I think there are 2 things that trigger starting to be greedy. One of them is winning consecutively and wanting of playing more because of it. The other thing is a losing streak. When you start losing 2 or more times in a row, you could start panicking or being angry with it and try to recover the amount in a very quick way. This means that you started losing the control of the situation. If you don't realize what you are doing, it could end very bad. So, one should be aware of the consequences and decide what to do carefully.
It is addictive due to the way we treat gambling, the fear and greed are drivers for both loss-win streaks. Revenge gambling has higher costs not only as a monetary cost but as an emotional lockdown inside our feelings. The angry gambler is the last person I wanna meet in person because he can even rob the strange person in order to play more and more. The self-control gives power to the gambler when and how to spend the bankroll but the gamblers don't want to think strictly about the future of their own life. Jut my 2 cents.

119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: November 14, 2020, 10:22:28 PM
I have used this gambling site for a week and the overall impression is good. If you look for fiat gambling sites that accept cryptocurrencies too, there are many available choices on askgamblers. Fast-pay casino and Vavada are the famous Russian online casinos that accept players usually from Ukraine too. Both BTC and altcoins are widely accepted, Riobet has not asked for any personal document after deposit. Maybe I have lost all balance, better to check the casino review website for the correct info.
