101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A mistake you would surely regret on: April 13, 2024, 01:23:34 PM
Newly projects that pumped into the cyptro space is quite risky to invest on because you barely know how long it would last in the crypto space or what if it's a scam project. Many investors have been scammed because of the deceptive views of newly projects. Many investors have been scammed because they choose to follow the crowd with no knowledge on making wrong decisions that end with regrets. It's very important for an investor to carry out proper research before investing on shitcoins.
New project can be risky and also profitable sometimes. Some people have made it in the space investing in some new project while some people have loss all their life saving investing in it. I can't really advice people to invest in all this new project but if you are interested in it, you should make a good research about it and only invest the little money you can avoid to lose as they may be abit dangerous
People need to understand that new projects carry a lot of risks despite the potential they carry for high returns, and I don't think it's worth it. You can't risk all your capital for some returns because if you make investments where you get small returns but have your capital secure then it is much better in my opinion. This is why I always prefer making investments in old and mature projects which have higher potential to provide returns whether they are big or small.

Investors these days are investing large amounts in meme coins just because they know they have the potential to sometimes provide great returns but they ignore the fact that meme coins can also potentially eat up all your investment in case they don't manage to get enough community hype.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Savings APR reduction normal? on: April 13, 2024, 03:53:53 AM
Bitget may increase Flexible Savings to higher limits than Binance or all CEXs to attract investors, but in the end, keeping USDT in Bitget is higher risk than Binance, so be careful and do not limit your investment outlook only to profit, especially since what happened to FTX could be repeated and you will lose your entire investment.
Diversifying your investment base is better, even if it comes at the expense of reducing your profits. I also believe that buying Bitcoin will give you an APR higher than 15%, especially since we are in a rising market.
It's possible since they are still new compared to them and as I can see, there's still a lot of Bitget army in the forum shilling the exchange. They always try their best to ensure that they will stand out and get noticed by the crowd. Binance and the likes exchange might be more popular than in Bitget but they still shared the same risk because all of them are centralized.

So, it's better to store only small amounts on them or much better to not leave any of your valuable inside them because they can hold and confiscate it for no reasons other than the risk of their platform to get hacked. BTC is definitely better than USDT or any earn program related to it, so it should be the one that we should prioritized.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 12, 2024, 05:05:04 PM
I think the Timberwolves will be alright. KAT had been playing like a shooting guard ever since Gobert came to their roster. He mostly just waits outside for a kick-out pass because of his high efficiency at the three-point line. So chemistry will not be a trouble for them. It's actually a good addition because they will stretch the floor again and the scary Naz Reid will have more opportunities to be open in the three-point line again. We saw that guy a lot of times go hot and never stop. He did it against the Warriors and the Lakers both 6/8.
And Antman will have more space to do his paint attacks again. The trouble that I only see is in defense if KAT is not mentally prepared yet.
Which shocked the hell out of me to be fair. Even on the first trade news when I heard that they were getting Gobert all the way back when the trade first happened, I was shocked. At a day and age where everyone is playing a small ball type of thing, or a big man that is a little bit more passer etc, they decided to go with a defender big man along with a shooter big man. That is definitely a shocking idea and I have to be honest and say that I believed that it would not work at all, I believed it would fail miserably.

In the end, its proven to be working and I am a better man than that so I get to accept defeat here, I was wrong and I did not know any better and with how good they are, I stand corrected. Seems like its a good idea.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do not let the over excitement after the bull-run pull you out to danger on: April 12, 2024, 03:00:54 PM
After knowing what being jealous could result to, I hope we would keep our mouth shuts and keep up with out anonymities during and after the bull-run.
Silent is safety wise
Remaining anonymous is the safest and that's true, that's why we rarely see people who have large Bitcoin assets showing off and saying that they have them even if someone says so we doubt that they have them because basically those who choose Bitcoin as an investment because they want to be anonymous. Likewise when we see people who post about Bitcoin either when commenting on bad things or vice versa because I think they don't actually own it.
I never tell anyone that I have Bitcoin except my family because this is a precaution if something undesirable happens, and I think it's important so that they can enjoy Bitcoin I have if something unexpected happens to us.
As much as we want to stay anonymous it may not really be possible, now that regulations are taking over in crypto, although we still can keep our mouth shut like what @EluguHcman said there. A true rich people are already like this anyway and they mainly do that for their safety. Those who comment negatively about BTC are sometimes only spreading a FUD and they do have a BTC. Their only goal is to help dip the price more, so that they can acquire more of it cheaply. Even though you got a good point there about sharing our BTC's to our family but we must be picky about the members that we will tell because some may not really deserve it.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what sort of features would you want in a trading bot? on: April 11, 2024, 08:14:03 AM
Just asking because I have been developing my trading bot for awhile, I have been successful with it but I'm hoping to learn what you guys are looking for so I will be able to plan what I can do to improve mine and convince you to use it as well.
The bot must be bulletproof, by this I mean that it does not matter what happens, the bot should present no bugs or weird behavior, lets be honest the most scary thing about a bot is that you are letting a few lines of code to dictate your financial future, however unlike regular code, in which a mistake is for the most part irrelevant and you can always improve it after the fact.

When it comes to your bot a single bug can cost you so much money that it would be unrealistic to think you will ever recover it, so the bot must present no such bugs at all, and for that you will need extensive testing and the ability to imagine almost any scenario possible so the bot can deal with it.
This must be the dream of all but I'm sorry that it is not possible and there are no perfect software yet up to date. This is why they always roll an update from time to time to fix the bugs that a software will encounter. The more it won't be possible because the guy seem to be learning yet despite being successful with some of his projects.

Without a bot, we are always advice to use small amounts but with a bot, we need to follow this strictly because a bug can ruin our trades and lose all our money quickly. A really good bot can only experience it rarely but losing is still there because of the unpredictability of the market and the coin that we choose to trade.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Meme Sniping Trend on Raydium and Solana: Let’s Discuss! on: April 11, 2024, 07:05:33 AM
survivorship bias it is, when someone make a ton from money it gets overblown by many twitter account as if jumping into meme sniping means instant wealth, but its usually just 1 man out of 10000 that makes money the rest are becoming exit liquidity but honestly thats just how it is, its just how the game works, the early bird gets the most and i'm pretty sure anyone dealing with meme coin and sniping meme coin know before hand thats how the game works, people that like speculation gonna favour it over the ones that prefer stability of investment like investing in bitcoin where the profit is almost obvious but of course it took sometime for the price to climb.
but regardless there are indeed many people that make money from meme coin they just don't really want to disclose it.
but yeah its gonna be good if at least some people that make big chunk might share their journey lol, must be hella diamond hand that kind of people having there holding meme coin all the way up to billions market cap.
Investing in BTC is still speculating, although meme coins only had more unsure future than it, so we can rather say that those who look for more adventure will choose a meme coin over Bitcoin. BTC isn't also stable but it was the top altcoins like ETH. We also have stable coins but in order to earn continuous and stable profits with them, we need to stake and lend them.

There might be more earning opportunities than these for a stable coin user. It's better that way that those who make huge sums are not talkative. Not only that it gives them protection but it also makes people less greedy but yes they have a diamond hand and then they also have a good knowledge and skill.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my shib for litecoin on: April 10, 2024, 05:48:22 PM
You did great. Shib doesn't have a history and it doesn't deserve its current spot. It is likely premined and when the early guys decide to dump their coins on you, it will never recover again. Litecoin on the other hand has a very organic user base and the worst has already happened. Its founder dumped his coins on us long time ago so you don't have to fear it. Have you seen the bitpay stats? Litecoin has been dominating it for months now. People use litecoin more than any other alt. According to my calculations, a fair price for a ltc is no less than $500. Hodl and you'll be rewarded.
SHIB has a history because it is not a brand new crypto and then it is like DOGE who have been mentioned by popular names in the industry, resulting for it to shake the market.

Afterall, it was still a meme coin so what can we expect? But even a non-meme coin and a top coin like ETH is said also to be pre-mined. Despite of it, they are still there, doing a good job. Didn't knew that LTC had a greedy founder but in fairness, his coin is not bad. Maybe he still have a coin or he bought again. Others can do a similar act too but it's not a big deal since we know it can always recover. LTC is old, popular, cheap and fast, no wonder why many people use it more, than the others.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think meme coinis? on: April 10, 2024, 02:53:44 PM
I am sharing my personal opinion as I consider memecoins as nothing less than gambling because the projects don't have anything to offer as a technology or solutions and the profit and loss are depending on luck as it can give you 10x or 100x or else it can turn your capital into zero in no time. I wouldn't suggest anyone to invest into memecoins if they are looking for genuine investment but if you are considering it like gambling then go ahead. I don't find any realistic use case of memecoins and there are hundreds in the market.
Why less than only? You should say more than or equal to gambling. Those who want to try to earn a profit, will look for a genuine meme coin because there are also scam meme coins. They can only lack in utility which makes their life span shorter, so we should also treat them as a short-term investment.

We can also trade them. If we like to gamble, it's better to just do it in a real casino because even if you lose your money at them, at least you will enjoy and then you can also help someone else because most casinos are tax payers and I think our tax can also be donated by the governments those people who are in-need of help. Casinos them selves can also do donations directly.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Lock your bank balance on: April 09, 2024, 04:59:34 PM
In my country, as far as I know this is possible

It would be so much helpful to be honest for someone
who has a hard time managing finances. Though it might
prove to become an inconvenience since you can’t just
take it out whenever you need something for emergency so it will
be better to just specifically allocate the money to something instead
of putting all your money into it
Some users are saying that it is a time deposit. I already heard it before and the feature is only normal, so I wouldn't wonder anymore if this also existed in your county. Yeah it its like a blessing in disguise if I can describe it in a quoted way, and I remember staking here because in staking, we are also locking our coins until a certain period of time.

I have a better advice than what you gave there, and that is, we only need to allocate small amounts of money here and the rest will be kept as savings, to be used in emergency situations, same thing what most people do when they invest here in cryptos. Another benefit of doing this is we won't feel devasted, in case we lose our money because it was only a small amount anyway, except only if the platform crashed when we are about to harvest our profits, together with our capital.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a best way of taking advantage of BTC dips when away? on: April 09, 2024, 04:26:44 PM
The dip is usually something that's actually around for a long time. I think it's not important to chase the very bottom because it's often visible only in hindsight anyway, and there's no need to be greedy. Looking at previous cases, Bitcoin cost around $4k for 4 months in a row in 2018-2019, and less than $10k for 4 months in a row in 2019 as well. More recently, the price was below $25k for over 7 months in a row in 2022.
I think several months is more than enough to invest, even with irregular attention to the market.
But, does that happen all the time? I don't think so, especially when the dip is during or around the bull run where you expect to buy the dip and the price will race up again after that, in such situations, a person might miss the dip if they are not around all the time just like OP. However, the solution OP is asking for is only available through centralized exchanges where one can place limit orders that will get filled when the price hits that point, and then the amount can be withdrawn.

I don't use decentralized exchanges but as far as I know, you can't place limit orders in decentralized exchanges so that you buy a coin at a certain price in the future and get the assets in your decentralized account even if you are away because you will need to make the payment at the time of the trade. Maybe some decentralized exchange can allow swapping tokens at a future price point but I don't know about any.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 09, 2024, 11:08:34 AM
Arsenal were not completely in a favorable condition against Bayern Munich because Arsenal had just finished a match in the domestic league with less rest time than Bayern Munich's rest time.
From this situation, I doubt that Arsenal can perform as well as possible and in circumstances like this I think it is more profitable for Bayern Munich even though Bayern Munich is not as good as Arsenal's performance this season with the series of results they have obtained.
There is a possibility that the first leg will end in a draw. For winning results, the chances are still small.
No team that can really be the favorite team to win. Both Bayern Munich and Arsenal are top teams, they have almost the same quality of players. So, I don't want to try debating which team qualifies for the tittle. I just want to describe which team to have a better preparation and better performance in this year. Considering the current domestic matches, Arsenal looks to have a better performance. Although Arsenal just finished the match, I think they have enough energy to face Bayern Munich. It is also a home match, so Arsenal doesn't need to go anywhere. This makes Arsenal easier to prepare anything for the match.

Meanwhile Bayern Munich, they are experiencing bad performance in Bundesliga. This can influence the mentality of the whole players. Although I don't favor any team, but I see Arsenal looks to have higher chance to win in Leg 1. However, we don't know if Bayern Munich may surprise anyone. They have the ability to do it because they are still a strong team.
Due to recent performance of both teams now things are clearly going into favour of the Arsenal even still mostly peoples are thinking it's going to be not easy game for the both sides and any team can go through for the win but in last four games Arsenal concede no goal, and we have 5 goals against Bayern Munich in just 2 games which is giving all how they could be gone for this game while recently we also have good decline in odds of the Arsenal as well which is currently at the @1.73 mean now bookies are realizing Arsenal can give their best and also have good chance for the first leg game.

But, second leg could be not easy for both sides even we know Bayern Munich could be at the home, and they can also create problems for the Arsenal which could be important for both sides as they will be tried their best for having favourable position for going into next round.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 09, 2024, 05:08:43 AM
Well Cristiano Ronaldo was pissed by referee decisions especially for the canceled goal and some of Al-Hilal players know how to escalate tension and cause drama.
I watched the red card and I can tell that I don't see why Cristiano Ronaldo took it? I can understand that a yellow card might be justified but red card? I didn't see anything harmful on what he did honestly. It might be an angle issue but the drama caused after the elbow made the referee took that decision.
Overall, Al-Hilal is better like what I said.
Cristiano Ronaldo was pissed by many defeats under Al-Hilal this season, in many different matches and competitions. He lost his mind but stopped at the verge of  throwing his fist to the referee's face. His team mates saw Cristiano's reaction and angry and shown intention to stop him but he controlled himself at the end.

Is it enough to be considered as a bad behavior towards the referee and will Cristiano Ronaldo receive an extra punishment for it?

This season is failure for Al-Nassr and they must admit a fact that Al-Hilal are stronger and deserve to win in direct matches and battles, competitions too.
No doubt Ronaldo were feeling frustration after cancellation of the first goal and then having 2 goals in early minutes of the second half mean another defeat and end of the chances for having anything good in this season but still this was second card and this justify for having red card at the end now this season is going to end on this poor defeat and now it's also time for having better things in the coming season otherwise they can face humiliating defeats as well which could be not good for them.

Al Hilal is having ideal end of this season while they are having world record and also chance for the three trophies which is amazing end of the season for them now we will have Al Ittihad against them in coming final which is also going to play at same ground for the all matches.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PLS HELP! NEED YOUR OPINION (crypto trading related) on: April 08, 2024, 06:12:22 PM
Hey Cariane, don't be too hasty in investing. Not all that you see in the crypto market are going to guarantee you returns.
On this bull run, many are scams and if you're hasty and don't do your own due diligence. You're just wasting your money and making the pockets of these scammers fat.
Yep, and a lot of newbie investors would help those scammers raise some funds that they can spend throughout the cycle until there is another bull run and they will prepare and come again to collect charity in the name of investments by creating fake projects. This is why any investor needs to do enough research before they get involved with any project because no project during or around the bull run can be trusted.

The basic ingredient that makes investors take trades in haste is greed. They feel they need to enter every project at their initial launching stages so that they can reap as much profit as possible, but guess what? Most of their investments fail, and those that don't fail barely cover the loss for the failed investments.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Growing Account Size on: April 08, 2024, 12:06:53 PM
You can use this season to grow your account as a trader, because the market price has increased higher again to  give opportunity to some traders that missed the market last month.
The current season can only grow the accounts of people who have bought assets when the price was down last year. For those who are joining the market now and want to grow their account, they will need to start doing DCA as quickly as possible because the halving event is near and we know that the actual bull run starts a few months after the halving event and once it starts, then the buyers might not get that many opportunities for buying at low ranges.

For short-term traders, they don't need much even in an uptrend. After all, they can buy now, and sell when the price goes up a little because they are not bound to hold onto their assets and wait for the peak to sell and take a profit. That's why a bull market is always special for scalpers.
115  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: April 08, 2024, 07:46:51 AM
I want to believe that its not all the casino platforms that make reviews both the paid and non paid reviews because they may not have the capacity of affording to go for such for any reason best known to them, which am not in support of, because we must be able to get some feedback in what we offer to the gambling community through their respective feedbacks so that we can work on measure to improve in the quality of what we offer and see the image on what we stand to represent.
It depends on the reputation and the current stance of a casino in the leaderboard of all casinos in the industry whether they would need to have paid or non-paid reviews posted everywhere over the internet about them only to lure in more gamblers. A reputable platform wouldn't need that because its marketing campaigns and promotions are enough to gain the attention of users around the industry, whereas a casino that is either new or doesn't have a very good reputation will tend to do such things only to gain more trust among the gamblers in the community.

People who look for reviews before joining a platform should ask other gamblers in public forums such as this one because a person who has experienced something can give you the best feedback about it.
116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful where you connect your wallet on: April 07, 2024, 06:19:52 PM
A master piece of negligence. How can you connect to a Third party not knowing what impact it will have on your crypto wallet or assets. Now he is saying that he is done with crypto it's not at all the fault of the wallet owners or the crypto space It's 100% the victim's fault. You have to be solely responsible for every piece of act you do on your phone.

The best way to ignore these kinds of mishaps is to have a spare phone in which you don't do such types of things. That phone will only be used for trading purposes not for a single thing out of trading. Especially if you're investing that much of the amount you need to go for a spare phone it's very important.
A lot of people do this thing, they even blame the market when they lose money on a trade, lol. What does the market have to do with your decisions? The market never asked you to buy a certain cryptocurrency at a certain price and then sell it when the price is lower than the price you've bought it for, it's you who takes these decisions and you are the one who is responsible for the outcome.

Similarly, when people lose money from hacks and exploits where they click a phishing link or connect their wallet to a third-party website or service which is what happened in this story, they don't think of their mistakes but start blaming cryptocurrencies or the wallets for it. I mean, are you in your senses?
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: April 07, 2024, 03:38:23 PM
It is said in the title that when a gambler becomes emotional, it often happens that there is no chance for us to win a lot of money gambling. We are here to say that even a gambler wins, but only a small amount, and most of them lose in the end for sure.

That's why, as gamblers, we must know how to read the situation when we play gambling. These situations or circumstances that we always lose in every bet we make show that we should not continue betting first; instead, we should rest first, stop, or just come back on another day or occasion.
Having control over emotions can only make a gambler lose less in the long run, but when we talk about earning money from gambling, that should be taken out of the equation because it is simply not possible for one to earn money from gambling unless they are extremely lucky and manage to hit a jackpot or something and win a significant amount for the first time they gamble and then stop gambling after it, but that doesn't happen very often.

When a person gambles for gains, they are wasting their time and money because, at the end of the day, they won't get anything in their hands. However, if a person gambles for fun and entertainment while having limits and a budget, they are usually under control and have good control over their emotions.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 06, 2024, 03:51:03 PM
Does this concern you ?
No, it doesn't concern me mostly because I don't keep my funds in exchanges other than the capital that I used for trading and when I'm not trading, I take it out and keep it in a wallet where it's safe. It should be a concern for people who keep all their assets in an exchange platform which is a wrong thing.

Exchanges serve a different purpose, they are not wallets and they aren't supposed to be used as wallets. If one needs a place to store their assets so that they stay safe, they need to use a non-custodial wallet for that purpose instead of using an exchange platform no matter how reputable it is. Use an exchange only for trading and not for storing your coins because anything can happen at any time.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024 on: April 06, 2024, 05:21:23 AM
My personal assumption is 70K GBP (88K USD / 82K EURO), I may be pessimistic with my assumption but the risk management side of myself sees this as achievable.

In all honesty i'm unsure on the talk surrounding 79K GBP (100K USD / 92K EURO)
That's too far to make a guess on. Bitcoin has already set a new all-time high earlier last month, and it's all set to break that record once there is a bit more buying pressure in the market and that is likely to happen once we go across the halving event occurring on the 19th of this month.

So, you can only expect Bitcoin to go as high as $88k by the end of 2024 if you think it isn't going to gain much momentum after the halving and we won't be able to see much growth afterward, because based on what has happened so far, Bitcoin should easily be able to set a target for the next cycle above $100k. It's pretty stagnant at around $70k at the moment, a bit of more pressure and it will break through and set a new all-time high once again before the halving.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 05, 2024, 04:09:03 PM
It would be a shame if Xabi managed to get a treble winner this season and had to leave Leverkusen next season, it would be detrimental to himself because he should be able to increase his popularity at Leverkusen by qualifying for the UCL next season, if he succeeds in bringing Leverkusen through to the important round. in the UCL will certainly increase his popularity even higher and will make big clubs look at them with high fees, Xabi must see that potential and not be too hasty in leaving Leverkusen.
It would be really silly if it happened, Leverkusen became strong because of how Xabi strengthened his squad so excellently that this season finally achieved a very surprising achievement. And he also has to win Leverkusen in the UCL cup next season, this is increasing because this season they are only in the UEFA Europe League. And it proves that Leverkusen is able to compete with the top clubs in Europe.

And it looks like Xabi will still be in Liverpool. As in the news, Xabi Alonso finally gave a statement that he would stay at Leverkusen next season. This made several big clubs who wanted this coach quite disappointed. Among them are Liverpool and also Bayern Munich. Xabi is one of the best coaches this time, in fact, in my opinion, he is the best this season. Therefore, it is not surprising that many big clubs want him.
There are mix reaction about having details Xabi Alonso is going to stay here at the Bayer Leverkusen for another season because mostly were expecting things will be take change, and he will be also go for the Liverpool or Bayern Munich even few were expecting for Barcelona, but his decision is good and surely this will make things positive for both parties with because he will also be having more experience and his entry into Champions League will also give him new dimensions and Bayer Leverkusen will be also able to have some good things which will make them stronger for having good competition with Bayern Munich in coming years.

Now we are having too many clubs those are looking for the coaches and many coaches are going to be had life without any job which will surely make things interesting, but we have to wait for the few weeks then all will be clear about how things will be take changes and how we will have clubs with new coaches.
