101  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 12, 2020, 10:55:33 PM
In my opinion, a world war is literally the worst thing that can happen to humanity, with or without bitcoin.

Wars happen because countries can't pay up their debts, so they "pay up" this way. (Again, in my opinion, no misunderstandings)

No, war happens not because country can't pay up their debts, it is because stronger country wanted to bully and take over the weaker one.

In a war, the fiat loses its value. I had a discussion with a friend about what could happen to bitcoin in a war. He said that it will surely collapse. I am not so sure about it.

It is expected once, a country engulfed in a war, their financial system crashes and their economy suffer because their sources of income collapses, in short all economic activity are halted or sanctioned.

Although, think about it for a while. In a world war, the last thing someone has is access to the internet. Would bitcoins lose their value?

History has shown that gold is the money that "reborns" fiat. At least after a war. I would like to read some thoughts.

Depends on what kind of war and where the war is.  If war is not a global one and it happens on a non-supporting country, then we can't see a significant effect on the Bitcoin market.  But if war became global, then it will not only affect the value of BTC but rather it will affect the operations and transactions of BTC negatively, trading may come to halt, worst the blockchain operation itself may stop if all the internet services stop.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: September 10, 2020, 10:21:02 PM
this is terrible. When this pandemic hits almost all over the world, there are some people who try to use it for personal gain, after making a profit and they leave, so it's best to leave this joke.

I never put any attention in this kind of coin.  Taking advantage of the pandemic to gain money, that is so bad!

I have never liked the idea of a coin with respect to COVID-19 because it sounds really funny.

It is not funny at all.

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 09, 2020, 07:01:35 PM
It is so sad to see a very potential system such as DeFi be defiled by these scammers.  I hope those person behind the scam will be apprehended.   This should be another lesson for us that no matter how trending the thing is, we must always do our research and be not blinded by greed.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!?!How Newbies Spot Genuine Project !!?! Let's talk about on: September 08, 2020, 05:51:28 PM
I believe we don't have to check everything on the website.  Just to summarize things and make investigation easy.  We can focus mainly on the project team member.  Whitepaper, roadmap, etc is useless if the project team member is fraud.  So I would rather check the team member's background. Verify their resumes', the achievements, and affiliations.  If we don't find any or the validation turns out to be wrong, then the project is a scam.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: January 29, 2020, 05:19:57 PM
This is really nice. Such a small act of kindness.  This is the reason why I really wanted to share this to all. Cryptocurrency does really have significance and help to the society. Continue being a blessing to everyone Binance. I am really glad to what you've did. The families that was really affected to the coronavirus can't even work outside which resulted to no income at all.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: January 29, 2020, 04:55:00 PM
I'll go for Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP)! There are many choices among the first 10 coins. But if you have to choose only two (2). I think these two are worth to try to invest in. We have seen how these coins moves in the market chart and how they stay being on the top while others are really on the floor.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Need Bitcoin, If Altcoins Transfers Are Faster And Cheaper on: January 29, 2020, 04:26:42 PM
Bitcoin is more secure and the most reliable Cryptocurrency. As for speed, there are developments that has been done to improve it and it also lessen the transfer fees.  Whatever you say,  I will still go for Bitcoin. It is far better than any Altcoins.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: January 29, 2020, 03:50:47 PM
I think I will choose to wait after the IEO and buy from the exchanges. Some IEO were not sure if they will become successful so I prefer to be sure that what will I buy will have a value. Of coirse I will choose a good project so it will survive and excel after the IEO.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Is More Profitable? YOBIT Project Or ICO Project? on: January 29, 2020, 12:35:13 AM
If you are asking which is more profitable then my answer will be. If both are paying then I will go for good ICO. If you will ask about certainty, I will answer that it is the Yobit signature campaign because they are paying after couple of hours while the ICO doesn't give assurance that they will pay.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: January 28, 2020, 06:58:23 PM
I don't think that they are getting boycotted. They just consider Altcoins as second choice when they invest their money die to risk factors. Bitcoin shows the consistent less risky main coin. They just made their life simple because they know that Bitcoin will not really lose its value overnight.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remove the bad influencer from your life! on: January 28, 2020, 06:42:01 PM
First of all, I don't really go for bad influncers. They are just there to make yourself miserable and give your spirit a hard time. Second, If theres a bad influencers to another circle of people I was conneced. I have to manage them because that't what we should do to them. On the bright side, they help you identify the good decision because they always make the bad decision.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: January 28, 2020, 06:25:51 PM
I think this 2020 is the best time to buy Altcoins. There is a huge promise that Altcoins will really touch the sky when the rise up does not end. It is the best time because some are still cheap to buy and these coins are starting to go up on the market chart.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: January 28, 2020, 03:50:15 PM
For me i think theres no bearish market this year , 2 consecutive years 2018 and 2019 bears dominated the market , but this year i guess bears are on vacation and bulls will take over the market.
That's right. There are indications that market will be as good as it can be. BTC and Altcoins are moving upward right now. Green market was really good to see and investors are again gaining their confidence and trust. There is no way that a bullrun can be hindered on this direction.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 28, 2020, 03:34:42 PM
There's always a hope, and there's so many alts now that are traded ni Binance was really has a brilliant future, one of them are ALGO, i have a few of this token and seem this coin has lots of potential.
I certainly agree with you. There is hope and that hope will bring us  to the top. There are lots of correction done in 2019 and these corrections will have a positive result. I hope investors will see that scammers also flee away from the campaigns and projects. Let us give back all for the Altcoin's extravagant return.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: January 27, 2020, 04:20:46 PM
Technology is very important because it will define the coin and how it will be used to solve a problem. But we need the popularity to really make it known. No matter how good the coin is, when it is not heard or no one supports it, the reputation will be as good as nothing. I think the two factor will boost the Altcoins's value and will be accepted and used to which it was designed.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of Crypto Winter and what to expect from now on on: January 27, 2020, 04:01:06 PM
I agree that some of the shitcoins were already died because of the bear season and I am hoping that on this coming years, Bitcoin and good Altcoins will rise up. Good projects will also reborn and investors will support these projects all the way. Looking forward that Crypto will have the great comeback after few years of silence.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 27, 2020, 03:44:24 PM
interesting idea, but I know this is difficult because every gas station in the world on average still uses paper money payments, which uses payments such as debit cards may only exist in developed countries for example in eu or us maybe, and also e-money also applies and in my country it seems that this rule is very difficult because currently it is incessantly making payments with e-money issued by state companies.
Debit and Credit Cards are being used even on a Third-World Country on a gasoline station. They also use fleet cards and I think it is not difficult to implement digital currency to their system since they are already online. If there's a will, there is a way. And I think we can really do that.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: January 27, 2020, 03:21:38 PM
I mostly trust them if they don't have any red trust in their profile. Legendary member's demand is high and a low quality or scam project doesn't want to spend a big amount of money. That's why I think a Legendary or a higher rank member profile si more trustable than a newbie member.
I agree with you. Aside from the rank and positive reputation of a Legendary member. I will go read and search his posts and determine how he handles a campaign. A Legendary member gives importance to his rank and he will never compromise it on a campaign that he doesn't really know. But before I really support a campaign, I will do my own research.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 27, 2020, 02:52:43 PM
I look at the price and volume instead of quality. Because of a quality coin with less volume is not worthy to invest or hold. I have enough experience of holding quality coins! Without volume, no quality projects can survive in the crypto market. Sometimes their price goes very high, but that's very rare nowadays!
If you want to go long-term investment, I think you should choose quality. Volume is one factor that will affect the coin's proce but if the coin has good quality, investors will really support it from time to time. If we support quality coins that somehow help is to solve a problem, the reputation of Cryptocurrency will become higher and investors will be encourage to invest more.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 26, 2020, 04:33:12 PM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
If you referring to digital currency, I will say there is a high propability that Cryptocurrency will be the first thing that the investors and consumers will consider. But if you are referring to the main and international currency of every country, then I think there is a possibility but not quite sure since we are still working for the acceptance and approval of every country. It is good to be optimistic but we should try our best in helping and showing to the world that Cryptocurrency deserves a try. That there is a good side that they should look at.
