101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] Crycurex.com exchange on: January 21, 2014, 06:52:58 PM
Congratulations on getting the exchange up and running.

For all you peeps having "troubles", just remember, Rome wasn't made in a day!
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 21, 2014, 06:03:57 PM
I'm just going to try to register again in a few hours.  Site is like a yoyo right now, it's up, it's down, it's up....LOL

Site owner is probably pulling his hair out in clumps.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 21, 2014, 05:58:11 PM
I am chatting with the owner on skype right now. Bad news. The wallets API configs are all wrong. Any deposited coins as of right now are going to be lost. There is no way of tracking who owns what coins. Fuck I lost 10M coins.

Holy *uck!  I would never have deposited that many on a BETA exchange.  Hopefully things will get worked out for you.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 21, 2014, 05:38:15 PM
I'm not going to dump my coins, that's for sure.  Sell a few today and hang on to the majority to see what happens. Smiley
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 21, 2014, 05:31:07 PM
Well, registering did not go well.

404 error

Site is probably being hammered.  Same problem you had.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 21, 2014, 12:25:06 AM
Some hard decisions has to be made quickly, the publicity thay this coin i getting is  dream for every brand, we have to take this coin to the exchange within the law, the names Coinye and Coye are  flagged and no exchange wil accept them, someone has suggested CONYE with the short name CYE, this could be a good name or maybe another name but  what ever you do: DONT GIVE UP THIS COIN!!!

What publicity ?? There WAS publicity which could have been taken advantage of by a compliant rebrand after the initial C&D (which would have allowed it onto a legit exchange with major public hype behind it).

The whole story is now old news to the public and no exchange wants anything to do with this.

All the major public sites like twitter, facebook etc (ie the MAIN promotional sites) are now legally committed to delete and ban anyone and anything to do with this. Even news sites are having articles deleted about it.

There is no going back now.

I wasn't aware that the COYE coin was a matter of national security.  Read the First Amendment of the United States constitution, then come back here and let me know how sites like Twitter and Facebook are "legally committed to delete and ban anyone and anything to do with this".  LOL... stop spreading FUD.

Twitter COYE....https://twitter.com/ThisWeeksCoin/status/423530207446704129
Facebook COYE...https://www.facebook.com/Cryptothrift/posts/265740786913810

Just a few sites pulled up from a quick Google search.  Twitter and Facebook haven't pulled anything related to COYE and are under no obligation to do so.  People are even selling COYE related stuff on Ebay!
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 20, 2014, 11:05:10 PM
When does the exchange open? guys  Cheesy

Exchanges open as soon as coin changes it's name or legal pressure is alleviated

I don't understand why the exchange just doesn't change the name on their end.  There's nothing stopping any exchange from short forming the coin to CYE or whatever.  Huh

Vote for the best thing You think is.

This user is a troll, don't waste your time on vote. The dev team has voted already on "NO NAME CHANGE". We will keep our name to ride on the kanye parody, and exchanges do not mind.

If established exchanges haven't picked up the coin by now, wouldn't you think they're worried about legal action?  There's 28 pages or more of requests for Cryptsy to put COYE on their exchange, more than any other coin, but it hasn't happened.  Now I know that you or I can't speak for Cryptsy or any other exchanges, but don't you believe that's why their staying away from this coin?
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 20, 2014, 06:14:05 PM
I will be dumping my 32 MIL at 1 satoshi, I'm fine cashing out and getting $300

Do you think alot of people have that much coin.. or just a few people have alot ?

Not sure.  I have over 15 million myself, but I'm in no rush to dump them.  Grin

If anything your better off to sell in intervals as the coin climbs.  Maximize your ROI obviously.

I've given away a few million to people who deserved them as well and donated to a few giveways/faucets.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 20, 2014, 05:54:08 PM
I'm worried, that it's going to be a massive dump.  Sad Roll Eyes

Same here.  Hopefully people sell a few but hang on to some so the price can stabilize.  A massive dump is the last thing we need right now.  Sad

FYI I think there was a breach at pool.coinye.pw

For a period of time I couldn't log in to the dashboard (web interface) but my miner didn't disconnect so I let it run overnight.
When I woke up this morning, I found that there was no new coinye that was added to my account. Instead, it all went to an account:

5Zg7dVfX...urRUhSLM

I don't know how long this happened for or anything, but everyone on that pool should definitely double check their account settings.

My coin came to my wallet the whole night.

Net hashrate is climbing again.  Double what it was this morning.  Smiley

Hang on to your coins and be patient.  An exchange will probably be up soon.  Don't be a "premature seller"!
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 19, 2014, 04:50:15 PM
Where can I buy Coinye?
I think it`s the future.

Grin Grin Grin  Huh Huh Huh Huh

You're kidding me? The biggest joke of all time... what is the status of the laywers, infact are all miners not doing something illegal here?

What's illegal about mining a coin called COYE?  Nothing.  It's illegal to use "K"s image for promotion, but the way the developers have changed everything, I don't see any legal ground for "K" to stand on.  Parody is not against the law, at least not in Canada.  Did "K" sue the makers of South Park over the Gayfish? No, because they couldn't.  If I knew how to run an exchange, I would open one myself and wouldn't worry about any lawsuit.

If I was going to worry about anything now, it would be the creators of South Park taking action against the new devs for "Gayfish" adaptation of the coin.

New exchange: might be worth people requesting coinye/koin to be added, just a thought https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422153.0

Don't think they'll touch it for now.

From the website:

"What's this?

CoinMarket.io is a new and robust platform for cryptocurrency exchange.
We are fast, secure and reliable.

Although we will never list coins with questionable legal status,
one of our main goals is to list the good stuff as quickly as possible."

So coinye is now used in promotional purposes only. Everybody is mentioning coinye but nobody wants to have anything with it.. Well, I hope everybody will get their money...

VOX exchange is apparently going to trade in COYE.

COYE hits its first exchange tomorrow I've heard Smiley
