101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 10, 2017, 06:56:07 PM
I do remember had some spam email talking about bitcoin around 2011-2012, but well i did know a lot ponzi and hyip projects, and i didnt tryed it as i had considerd an scam attempt better then the usually, where you could buy or get some coins. I did joined bitcoin at end of 2015, and all started with this forum, where i started with faucets, then i tryed to learn a bit more about bitcoin, and then i had been able to join a signature campaing, the feeling of being able to make money with my free time did changed my life.

well probably btc during these days doesn't was trustable at all because related to ponzi hyip e-gold (I dont know if you have used it...)
so probably the concept of "electronic money" outside paypal platform was considered impossible, but nowadays ....
get enrolled in a signature should be a plus... likely you get payed for your information for using the forum , and not the really method people using btc...
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explain WAVES on: September 10, 2017, 06:52:37 PM
Hi all,

can anyone explain the WAVES coin details such as it's advantages and unique selling point

Thank you in advance!

I think this sums up pretty nicely:

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@biggzi/how-the-waves-platform-are-building-the-foundation-to-take-blockchain-mainstream

wow thank you fir this link I have found really interesting and I have find also a lot of info about this project.
Probably I have this feeling, in these days we are just seeing new tokens, because these new altcoins (waves eth) have already set a new standard, a new state of art for this alt coins. This could be a good reason to invest in such project because in the long term will gain a unique position in a difficult market.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: September 10, 2017, 06:40:25 PM
this currency should have a lot of feature that are probably un-realizable:
- infinite and illimitate supply (you need to serve all world!)
- probably to be adopted online this currency need a sort of blockchain
- be clear (cyrillic? latin letters? suggestion?) from taiwan to seattle, passing from paris and jakarta. (this is not easy at all).
- who will issue this? who have the right to print this new currency?
No I don't think it's possible use only one currency for only one planet Smiley
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs. when are they getting into exchanges? on: September 10, 2017, 06:29:55 PM
despite some people try to advertise the personal signature  Roll Eyes investing in a ICO is a big risk. because you can't ever know if the project could be profitable in the long term. and even if this could be profitable... you are use a token related to eth related principally to btc price.
So this is really a "derivate" with and high grade of ROI but also an high risk of ... FAIL!
105  Economy / Services / Re: Free daily crypto trading signals on: September 10, 2017, 04:52:01 PM
nice idea share for free your daily impression about crypto trading. Personally I am seeing a strong difficult to follow all new project and new promising token or coins. There is really an hyper inflation of a lot of currencies and now it's really hard follow all coins.
I hope to read good suggestion from your channel! good luck!

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marijuana cryptos on: September 06, 2017, 05:05:09 AM
every exchange has a typical "pattern" of crypto that they can exchange. it's quitly impossible for the same exchange have all crypto in the world Sad
personally I dislike this type of token customized to a certain product (whatever is the product) because with btc you have the potential to buy/sell everything (likewise real money!)
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm totally newbie to BITCOIN help me with your knowledge on: September 03, 2017, 09:40:57 AM
best strategy for a newbie could be... study and get the properly knowledge to understand how btc work. and what are crypto currencies.
meanwhile you can follow some good faucet, or try to leverage your account and get enrolled in a good signature campaign.
is not easy at all earn with btc, but until know it's plenty of good opportunity!
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: September 03, 2017, 05:43:15 AM
no I don't dump all my bcc because it's risky right now sell all coins. today seems the price is slightly rising again... maybe I can sell just a part of it becase there is segwitx2 at horizon ... and with another fork I can get more btc Wink for free!
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 02, 2017, 06:41:14 AM
I was finding for some online work  or even a ways of earning money online because I was underpayed/unemployed at that time.
A newspaper article save my earning Smiley and  solve this problem! I start from reading satoshi paper, and after I start to read forum trading etc etc... and cover a little part of my expense but was a practical solution!

114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit helping BTC on: August 30, 2017, 04:46:47 PM
we have just postponed the blocksize problem, because despite we are all hurrying behind segwit, we have just achieved only a part for a massive adoption of btc. blocksize will be again a problem and already we have high (TO HIGH) tx fees. so probably segwit helping btc in these days but in long run we can't see any "real" result.
there might be more segwit that will happen. It's a continuous process since almost everyday, there's an additiinal users that adds in btc demands to increase it's value. I think segwit can always help btc to support btc abilities.

other segregated withness? what you need to hide more? and even this solution how much space could provide to blockchain?
The really obstacle (as I can understand) is the block size. Even if btc would compete against industry of payment (like credit card, paypal and so on) need to process more tx with each block. Or btc could be adopted in another manner, (like off-chain and so on...) or other altcoins.

Just with the segwit implementation the growth took place abrupt, and this has lead to solve several issue starting from transaction fee, the block size issue as well the growth. Also when the segwit was to take effect every users were in panic whether the price peaking happens or not, but to the panic people got a positive response with the price increasing higher. Hope the same will happen in the upcoming days of segwit.

Tx fees are already bigger as usually. Block size was resolved ? How?

Yes people is not anymore in panic, we have changed with this softfork btc! But what's next BIP?
115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on bitcoin prize on: August 30, 2017, 04:39:05 PM
I think your concept is very unique, But why take a long time just for betting? Of course the people can be bored to wait result. If you reduce it, i want to try my luck in your site.

secondstrade a site related to forex pairs, has literally suffered a sort of trick, because some one was capable to move the market for short period of time (1 minute - 60 minutes). While they influence the btc price, they can get an huge amount of money from secondstrade. This is why they are actually closed. And this is why is very risky use short frame of time for btc betting prediction.

120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fees exploding and BTC will crash down on: August 27, 2017, 11:04:22 AM
Well it's because there is alot of transactions on the blockchain happening right now that's whycthe fees are on the moon high. But, this really sucks. I'm guessing that in the next 5-10 years bitcoin fees would go up to 20-30 Usd per transaction. Hoping this segwit works good soo that the transaction fees may go down.

maybe also more. because if each btc can be valued around 10k or 100k each tx fees will growth exponentially, and we can't (maybe we need!) forget old tx fees (around 10 cents for small ones confirmed within 6 blocks / 1 hour).
Space and time for the blockchain is expensive, and probably we are seeing the first "leverage" because not all people could afford 20$ or more for each tx.
