As a newbie who wants to make money in crypto, you can still achieve that by finding a very good and low risk crypto coin to invest in while they are still cheap, example of low risk coins are usually coin in the top 50 or lesser according to coin market capitalization, but then, if i must mention a name, then the coin with the lowest risk is always bitcoin, you can buy coins like bitcoin when the price is low and sell when the price rises, you can keep doing this repeatedly while learning how to trade like a pro, as soon as you become very good in trading, you can start making profits daily depending on your consistency, knowledge and level of patience. the chance of earning your profit as a newbie will always be there. however, it depends on the coins that you want to try with. a newcomer can always try their hands on in trading but should use a small amount of money to grasp what is going on in the crypto market. you won't know the feeling if you will just read. so as a start, you can trade using spare money. and it doesn't mean, you will lose it all, if you are lucky, you can already get your first profit. so yeah, even newbie in trading can profit from this market. but don't get scared when you lose, that's part of learning the trade. even the so-called experts have had their share of losses and still losing. but they already know how to cut losses if in case they are on this side.
