103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the ways I can get scammed on a P2P platform such as localbitcoins? on: January 18, 2021, 02:51:29 AM
To all that add that after providing privileged banking information, you could be a victim of identity theft, attempted phishing and not to mention if you provide a phone number.
The other partner is privy to which bank account sent/received the funds?

I know of some trader on localbitcoins who ended up getting arrested because he received stolen funds from a trading partner. Luckily for him, he co-operated with the authorities and gave them all the details of his trading partner who was also later netted.
Was the real scammer arrested in an non Western nation?
105  Other / Beginners & Help / Do you have to leave Bisq running on your computer until transaction completes? on: January 18, 2021, 02:43:27 AM
Do you have to leave Bisq software open and running if you have posted an offer there?
106  Economy / Currency exchange / But do they take actual cash face to face at Bisq? on: January 18, 2021, 02:34:13 AM
using peer-to-peer services like HodlHodl[1] and Bisq[2] are great options.
Are sure bisq accepts cash face to face? Their cash app option is no longer available either.
107  Economy / Currency exchange / 30 day limit on Bisq on: January 17, 2021, 03:27:17 AM

108  Economy / Currency exchange / P2P Hustles on: January 17, 2021, 03:24:45 AM
P2P platforms too are risky. You can't trust the other party 100% because some of them change when they see an opportunity to scam.
What do they change? And what are the gamut of risks associated P2P platforms like Bisq? Any members been fleeced using Bisq? Should I make that a separate thread?
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V on: December 30, 2020, 08:15:32 AM
Yes. Windows 10 has a built in keylogger, and it sends everything you type to Microsoft for "analysis".
Does Windows 8.1 do that too?
110  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How to buy bitcoin anonymously without ID in Australia? on: December 28, 2020, 08:30:15 AM
hello you can buy btc with skrill or binance exchange but not anonymously because at this time many carder are using credit card to buy bitcoin so you can't buy btc without id verification...
Will they still ask for ID if I hand over cash?
111  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How to buy bitcoin anonymously without ID in Australia? on: December 28, 2020, 08:29:08 AM
There is no obligations nor ID involved when you are trading with other individuals face to face. It's like craig's list. You bring the money, they bring bitcoin and you two agree on the rate and make the exchange. You don't even have to know each other's names.
Local Bitcoins site (Au sellers) most appear to ask for ID and claim its the law, hence my presumption. Your 100% certain its not a law in Au to request ID when exchanging for cash?
112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I be worried if my VPN gets flagged by Admin here? on: December 28, 2020, 08:22:48 AM
You can even use Bitcointalk through Tor if you want to, and is actually heavily recommended for privacy reasons.
Your saying an established member won't get asked to fork out btc fee if he logs in via Tor? How certain are you of that?
113  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How to buy bitcoin anonymously without ID in Australia? on: December 28, 2020, 06:09:38 AM
The most anonymous way is doing the trade face to face with other bitcoiners and with cash.
Are they obliged by law to insist for ID?

115  Other / Beginners & Help / Replies to my Topics appear with new replies up top? on: December 28, 2020, 05:50:45 AM
For ages now, replies that other members make to my topics appear new to old with new reply up top. Should I call that descending or ascending order? my original question is always at the bottom of the page. Is this just me or has bitcoin talk changed format? Thanks in advance.
116  Other / Beginners & Help / Should I be worried if my VPN gets flagged by Admin here? on: December 28, 2020, 05:43:29 AM
I don't want to be banned by others shenanigans ( people using the same vpn company). How likely is that if I am straight (not doing anything wrong)? Recourse and will anyone be prepared to vouch for me (member since 2016) just in case? Its a great board. Or am I over worrying?

118  Other / Off-topic / Romanian connection on: May 30, 2020, 06:52:47 AM
My country, Romania, still has quite a lot of places you can buy them from without any ID. Another option could be purchasing them from some places like eBay. However, keep in mind that AFAIK, starting from 2020 the EU will require sellers to only sell to those providing identity documents.

But considering that we still have some small shops selling cigarettes to kids, you should find prepaid cards as well easily. Wink
Starting from what exact date in 2020? Have I still got time to get one? Visa or Mastercard? Can you throw a few names of the retail shops where the prepaid credit cards are sold?

That's what I like about Romanian's they are very savvy and brilliant minds, thank you are the only one with excellent info. I need more quality info guys, anyone else know where to get prepaid with no ID cash over the counter?

119  Other / Off-topic / Re: List of countries where you can buy prepaid credit cards no ID, with cash on: May 30, 2020, 06:45:09 AM
Without ID  Huh I think all prepaid credit cards need a user ID right from the moment they sign up. How can a company provide a credit card with blank information? This is impossible,...
But they do
120  Other / Off-topic / Re: List of countries where you can buy prepaid credit cards no ID, with cash on: May 30, 2020, 06:43:58 AM
Prepaid credit cards with cash are hip in many countries around the world...
