101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Progress of developing my own project. on: October 14, 2022, 01:02:53 PM
Hello! In this thread I will closely follow the development of my project. The intended purpose of this thread is to give constant updates of the progress and receive your feedback on how to develop various areas better.

The current progress is as follows.

The name of the project is CryptoWildy and we have currently acquired all the social media accounts for this project. The most activity is taking place on the Discord server. The total number of the tokens have been created on the Polygon blockchain. We will run the game using the Polygon blockchain because it has proven itself to be the best so far.

Currently I am working on launching a landing page for the project to get the first sign ups for the project news going.

You are doing good but the one thing that can make investors support your project is what you can offer to the community and the usability of the platform you're creating, it is better, to be honest, and transparent, about what is your capability and what projects have you done in the past this is important if you're doing crowdfunding, it's not the chain, it's not how you promote but everything depends on the platform.
Gone are the days when you will just create a coin and investors will invest right away.

103  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: September 10, 2022, 12:56:54 AM
You have one, massive incumbent who innovated a lot of what we see today (Stake); multiple competitors who hold a small but notionally considerable percentage of the market (Duelbits, Gamdom, Roobet, etc); a rapidly evolving space with huge potential upside. The only thing that’s missing is the competitor that will finally give Stake a run for its money.

Stake.com is not the only one that's been doing what its been doing and I don't agree that there is an absence of competition in the Cryptocurrency market, it is just that Stake has long years of existence and they have established loyal supporters since they started back 1998, others are just building their reputation and community, their closest rival Duelbits just started 2020 but they have achieved a lot, it will be different five years from now, Stake.com is just reaping what they've planted on over 20 years of their existence, you cannot expect to beat Stake by other casinos that are 2 to 4 years in its existence.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the school lessons of gambling addiction? on: September 01, 2022, 12:14:29 PM

Given all this, do you think it's worth organizing separate lessons in schools designed to tell children about gambling addiction? That is, to tell children about gambling addiction separately from addiction in general - alcohol and drug addiction.

School is also a character formation institution so why not, some countries have this as one of their subjects, it strengthens the moral fiber of the society if they involve the school in teaching children about gambling addiction, although homes are where character building are starting there are times where parents need the help of the school especially those with large families where some children are neglected.
105  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] YAS.BET Signature Campaign |Full+| 5 SPOTS OPEN | Earn Up to 75$/Week ! on: August 24, 2022, 04:48:29 AM

Thanks for your efforts. Kayeshlyn has been kicked out from the campaign.

Good evening from my side of the world, I wanted to say this since but I was not having the opportunity to do so, but today as I saw your comment then I said I will use this medium to know why the campaign is still open for applicants. Concerning this signature campaign thread. I know you are very good of keeping your threads clean, you don't like to allow users to spam your campaign threads, instead you always advised them to pm you. But I was wondering why this thread was open for this long period of time which is making applicant to apply every day without knowing their faith. This also made me to checked your spreadsheet and I discovered that there were vacant positions in the Sr. Member Rank but up till now you have not made open declaration that the campaign is full or not full. I just want to suggest that if the campaign is full, you can write full so people (users) will not litter the thread.

Hi there,

Campaign is open for new applicants. But this doesn’t mean that I’ll accept everyone. First I look at your post and then I decide to accept you or not, if you’ve been accepted I’ll Pm you, I’ve always done in this way.

Thanks for your comment.

NB: if campaign will be full or closed I’ll write it, don’t worry  Wink

Posting your application may be your right but being chosen and included in the campaign is a privilege of the bounty manager alone it's their campaign and their own rules apply, bounty managers have their own parameters and preferences.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: August 17, 2022, 11:27:47 PM
Gamblers who can win multiple times or large sums of money will become greedy because they will see that the opportunity to get more money has come and will have to use it to win again. But some gamblers can control themselves and know that their time has come to a stop and they obey it because they know that victory is not always on their side. As long as they can control their emotions, they will be able to master gambling and will not become greedy because they know that gambling is entertainment that can cause two things: winning and losing.

There is a huge chance for a gambler on a winning streak to get greedy but if he is disciplined enough and keeps on the planned activity, he can avoid being greedy.  Though I agree that most of the time gamblers that has no dedicated plan for gambling often got hooked on the winnings and get greedy until they lost everything.  But OP's story is different, the person in the story managed to stop and get away with the winning with motivation in hand which solves the problem of his company later.

It is very difficult to stay calm when you are winning, yesterday I was playing a slot machine and I was just playing little money and didn't expect a big win but the slot machine kept giving me big wins on regular basis,I got from 69 dollars to 1200 but only withdrew 500 in the end because I thought to myself why not risk 700 dollars by playing with a higher bet and hopefully to hit the maximum pay line.I didn't and lost them really soon but I ended up with a 400 dollar profit in the end.I could not stop at 1200 because I thought why not go for that big prize and that is what hit most gamblers.

The adrenaline rush is playing all over you and its hard to stop, but that is good that you set aside a portion of your winning that's the best idea, thinking ahead and looking at the worst scenario, we want to strike while the iron is hot and we always think that someday we will regain all our losses, but unfortunately, it's very rare to regain it in one session and pushing your luck will get you on another losing streak, we all want to hit the big jackpot but always consider how far you can go and your risk behavior, some risks are not worth taking.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Coin | A decentralized economy or another form of MLM scheme? on: August 15, 2022, 09:40:08 PM
I've been a follower of this coin since the day it was started, I have a few people in my teams, but the problem is it's almost years of waiting, I felt that this project is too slow to implement it's features, but recently I saw many post in social media that they using this coin as payment in some of the services and products, I don't know if it is real or part of the ads strategy (hype), Well I have few coins in my wallet and this month I started to mint again. I hope the project deliver what's indicated in their roadmap because Pi is already overdue, more on talk, talk and TALK.
I'm not comfortable with projects that ask for full KYC and without following what they've been saying and promising to their user's timeline for a good coin to get listed in the market is not more than 5 months but 4 or more years is just too much wait they just to waste people time and making money out of their people without giving them anything in return but empty a project that cannot get into the market are considered scam even if they just wasted your effort and time.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your General Feeling After Playing In Casino In the last 10 session on: August 14, 2022, 11:53:22 PM
Being entertained is the goal of both casinos and players but when we gamble we bring with it our character if we have a risky behavior chance is we become compulsive in our bets and decisions if we are mature guys we become responsible and treat gambling as another form of entertainment, gambling should not hone us, our education outside of casino should be our guide in everything.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIB Listed by Yet Another Crypto Exchange ! on: August 14, 2022, 11:26:53 PM
Crypto exchange incorporated in St Vincent and Grenadines, BlueBit.io, which entered the market in spring this year, has listed Shiba Inu, according to a recent tweet of Shannon Bray, a politician, candidate for US Senate from the Libertarian Party who will run an election in November.

I'm not surprised at all my local exchange just listed Shib when members are requesting top coins like Binance to get listed but the management prefers to list a MEME coin, because of its popularity and the market volume, and of course, its community which is getting bigger, Shib is indeed a breakthrough coin and many are hoping there will be another coin like Shib in the future.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying house with fake tokens on: August 13, 2022, 11:41:37 PM
No direct link to news = Fake, I've even searched for news about this on google, but I didn't get any results. And if this is the case, it shouldn't take long for the homeowner to get his rights back because he was duped into buying the house. Maybe the first thing the OP can do is share a valid news link regarding this issue, then we can continue the discussion.

I also don't believe this, if you are buying a house you can't commit fraud because you will be charged with estafa and the sellers can recover their houses because there are paper trails and transactions, the judge can easily rule this case in favor of the sellers, as the buyer will have multiple violations, it's different when the transaction involves something online and both parties are far away to each other.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 12, 2022, 05:58:34 AM
Most especially new projects do you think its healthy to rush things up or take a lot of time and gradually release updates and follow roadmaps slowly? There are some complains that most projects aren't following the exact timing on their roadmap and some even takes this is Red Flag.

The majority of investors are impatient, they can take projects that are fast in setting up their platform but they are impatient on projects where there's too much delay in the implementation of the roadmap and setting up the platform, they want to see action, updates and see if the developers are really capable, projects never get bad feedbacks if they rush things but they deserve a flag for so many delays, I don't trust projects where there are the absence of updates.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: August 10, 2022, 11:53:20 PM
yes, that's an obvious win, and about the odds, maybe we have to wait more like a day before the fight as it will likely be available. I'm interested on knowing the odds for Lopez by KO, if that 2+, I'll probably put a bet on it.
I doubt the odds would be as high as 2+ because Lopez was a knockout artist too, I expect 1.20-1.40x while via decision it would be 1.60x-1.80x. He's a huge favorited boxer, so the other odds (if available) wouldn't change that much.

However the fight will happen only around 5 next days, can't wait to see Lopez performance after he lost against Kambosos before.

I hope to see the take-over attitude again without the arrogance, his first loss comes from his arrogance and losing control of his temper he is trying to keep his promise to knock Kambosos in round one because he promise and predicted it, unfortunately, you never go force a knock out you wait for it when an opportunity opens up and against a tough fighter like Kambosos its hard to do that, its a big lesson for him and should be a lesson for every boxer.

There is nothing wrong in making predictions like knocking someone out in the first round, might be arrogant to hear but sometimes that's will be a battle in his opponent's head because we know Lopez can really do knock-out punches. The problem is that Lopez gets over his head just because of the flawless and pretty rap sheet he had, now he cannot weigh things correctly because his attitude is blocking the way to making him great that's why he lost to Kambosos. I hope we can see a different Lopez now.

Lopez has to impress the boxing community many are disappointed on his showing, he has the speed and the stregth but it was overcome by that arrogance, Campa is good but checking his training and some of his recent fights he is too slow, when speed and power is the name of the game, I don't see him beating Lopez this is actually a cherry-picked fight and they made a good pick in Campa a good stepping stone for Lopez in a new division.

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth could take over BTC or not on: August 10, 2022, 11:08:28 PM
With PoS coming and Gas fee finally getting fixed do you think that Ethereum is capable of overtaking bitcoin? Oh also there will be max supply for Ethereum finally too, or is this expectation of mine way too high.

Your expectation is too high for things that never yet materialized the community will have to see the new Ethereum on POS and fix their unusual high gas fees before we can say that its a threat to Bitcoin's dominance, I shy away from Ethereum for now until the new update and many projects are shifting on other chains, if these projects shifted to Ethereum when the POS comes up then we can start the speculation.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 08, 2022, 11:14:20 PM
I am not a poker player I find it mentally challenging but all my friends who play poker think that it should be categorized as a mental sport because its mentally exhausting yes there are situations where you depend on luck but if you're against an individual its a battle between mental toughness that is why we have this poker face look you try to look not to look you are in a bad card and that's a tough task to make and mentally challenging so I treat it as a mental sport.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token question and ownership on: August 06, 2022, 10:08:24 PM
I am new to crypto and was hoping someone could help.

I understand that with stocks you are getting ownership and future cash flow of a public company, bonds your providing a loan and getting paid back with interest and real estate your getting rents and appreciation.

What are you getting with tokens like etherium, algorand, polkadot?  There are no cash flows, ownership stakes, or interest.  There are no earnings reports or how successful the software is.  If there is nothing backing these tokens, I fail to see what value they have?

I hope you're not yet investing because you don't understand what you're getting into yet, first, you need to understand what is Cryptocurrency and its usage first, go check Youtube and articles about how Cryptocurrency works its a totally different from the system you know or grow up with, its a new world for you, don't get into Cryptocurrency because of the profit understand its purpose and usage first.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: August 05, 2022, 11:14:07 PM

What do you think? Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I don't think it will happen with so much hacking and leaking going on with people will still go on the mode of payment that will insure their money, banks are not going to go away but they can add Cryptocurrency to their system and they can co-exist, there are circumstances that bank can only play a role on transactions and there are circumstances that its much better to us Cryptocurrency than bank's credit or debit card, I don't see anything wrong if they can co-exist we are in a modern world a world where people are always looking for a better alternatives.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running household expenses with gambling on: August 04, 2022, 11:51:11 PM
Is it possible that we can run our household expenses with gambling ?

I am asking for those people who don't have any skill or job ?

In the first where are you going to get the money t play if you don't have a job or skill and even if you have money no way you're going to make a profit and run your expenses in gambling, I have not seen anyone doing that unless you are a casino operator or promoter and do not gamble you can still be part of gambling but playing to make a profit for the household expense that won't do and it's not possible.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: August 04, 2022, 10:53:53 PM
It'd be interesting to know how people find and analyse good long term projects that made insane profits. Can you list:

1. How you found the coin
I am not a millionaire but these coins made me realize my dream of building my house these coins are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Nano, and Tron, it's easy to find these coins, they are always in the news its just buying them at the right time and selling them for profit until now I continue to make money from these coins

Quote
2. Why you believed in the project
There's a usage platform and community support every coin without these is going to die.

Quote
3. Why are you still holding or why you sold
If you believe in a coin you will accumulate it in a bear market and sell it when you realize your profit.

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 03, 2022, 10:55:11 PM
I am mostly a hodler no matter the market going down or up. But sometimes I get the advice to take some profits.

Example: my investment of 300 euro becomes 500 euro. Is it better to take out my initial investment or only take the profit ? And reinvest that profit ?

How do you guys do this ?

I just feel like i'm missing potential profits by not selling and seeing my potential profits go up and down.

It depends on the coin you're holding and you're patience if You're holding Bitcoin and your projected income is 5 times your investment and you have the means to support yourself and hold your wallet in a long term then go for it, as long you're invested what you can afford to lose, and you're holding a coin that has proven its potential you can go hold it, in general, the market is very volatile and there's always a chance to make a profit if you're following the market you can grow your portfolio by taking profits it's always recommended to take a profit because we are investing and everyone wants yield on their investments
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: August 02, 2022, 11:27:44 PM
If your ancestor or the culture that you are part of recommends something that will make you lucky, you will apply it to whatever you are doing, and if you're a gambler you try to apply it to give you a bit of luck, many Chinese businessmen believes and apply their business in accordance with Fengshui and its also as risky as gambling so why not try to apply it and see if you are going to get a good result.
