101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: November 22, 2017, 06:57:33 PM
you guys think the show is over? Whales just waiting for more sell orders to pile up.

You might be right, I'm not sure if the pump is just beginning or that was purely accumulation followed by a panic buy.. Either way a few months down the line this will be a tiny candle on the graph for QRL.

This will probably be a new bottom around 10k, which is good considering that it hit much lower recently. Most traders seem to be waiting for main-net.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: November 22, 2017, 01:27:41 PM
Price back to 9k I think, only as main-net is still a few months from now. I am ready to buy back in around the levels 10% higher than yesterday. Sinking ship, always dumps whenever it starts to rise.

BTG in its rightful place thanks to editing HTML lol

A few more hours/days and I'm sure CMC will update, not really sure why they haven't currently. Expecting whales to cause a liftoff when this happens really, a few more pumps to make money off the noobs are going to happen, before the colossal dump.

I doubt Coinmarketcap will update anytime soon and it will probably fall a lot lower..
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 21, 2017, 07:41:07 PM
Guys, when is the next pump? Seems like it's pretty soon  Roll Eyes #GOBTG!

As soon as Bittrex switches back to 0% change on BTG in a few hours and Coinmarketcap updates the supply for BTG, that is when there will be a big final pump I think.

If people see BTG at #6 on CMC it will draw attention.

One thing we can all agree on, BTG is either going 50% up or 50% down in the next few days.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 21, 2017, 06:43:30 PM
Glad this scam coin is dying. I hope it never goes above rank 1000 on Coinmarketcap.

The only reason it is 1000+ is the coin supply is unknown once this is calculated then it will be either just above or below litecoin

You seem to have a good understanding of this, that makes sense. Why is it not currently at that number and why is the supply not on CMC already?

I believe the number collected through a API call to a block explorer but this information is either not being exported or CMC does not know where to get it from either way I think think is a serious issue that needs solving ASAP and is damaging the value

EDIT:

Taking data from the btgblocks explorer https://btgblocks.com/ext/getmoneysupply

This puts coin supply at 16,762,732

This would give a CMC market cap of
$4,168,891,557

This puts BTG at #5 just above litecoin

That is very odd, it makes me want to avoid BTG.

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Meridian Ⓜ️ | DIGITAL COLLATERAL 🚀 Over $350K Raised! on: November 21, 2017, 01:43:35 PM
There were only 46btc raised. It is so sad. And I do not know what will be next

Oh no they only raised a few hundred thousand.. Are you serious? That will keep the project alive for at least 6m-1 year.

After that if they have done well the price of each MDN token will be higher and they can sell small amounts to keep the project development going.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Meridian Ⓜ️ | DIGITAL COLLATERAL 🚀 Over $350K Raised! on: November 19, 2017, 05:31:50 PM
So how many total coins will be burnt? Thanks!
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: November 16, 2017, 10:36:23 PM
Did someone just sell off 10 BTC worth of XEL because of this damn BTC rise? Ah god well looks like all alts are going to suffer now. If BTC hits that $8000 anyway.

Big things for XEL and other good alts in 2018 in my opinion.

10 BTC worth of XEL is a nice chunk of money. Maybe it would have been even a larger chunk of money if he left it in XEL Wink

No doubt, I definitely agree. Genius minds of the devs I'd rather hold this than BTC anyway. I can wait and hope for the best Smiley

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Meridian Ⓜ️ | DIGITAL COLLATERAL 🚀 Over $320K Raised! on: November 13, 2017, 04:49:21 PM
With the 40+ BTC raised already I am sure that will keep the project alive and growing for a good year or two, after that they can sell a small portion of MDN holdings to keep the project alive while the value grows, then everyone is happy. Could take some time for developments and MDN to be established though.

They probably invested before the ico begining a big amount in marketing, videos, graphic design, website creation and the amount they raised so far is not enough to cover the expenses so what are you talking about? I think they need at least 500k to continue the work. Maybe they will find some angel investors too because the project is very good and the team seem to be experienced.

You think they have spent half a million on those things already? A website and a promo video? Smart devs understand they must be cautious with spending. If you think they need more money then the project will fail, many other coins continue without funding at all, and they still make a lot of money when their token rises in value.

Thanks guys for your interest into the Meridian ICO.

For those that are asking, we have no plans now or in the future to allow Ethereum deposits into the Meridian Crowdsale. This is a Bitcoin only token sale.

We also have no plans to generate "hype," or to launch any unnecessary form of marketing ploys or exploits that are external to our strategy.

An organically acquired group of initial investors and users, is far more valuable to the Meridian project than an investor-base composed entirely of price speculators.

Our ICO does not have a softcap and as such, there is no specific target for our initial round of fundraising.

Overall, our aim is to build the Meridian project in attachment to it's main and clearly defined purpose: the secure distribution & tracking of Bitcoin loans.

To those who have invested, we appreciate your support in assisting us to achieve the objective outlined above - and we continue to work hard behind the scenes to bring a 'quality' service & asset to market.

Thank you for supporting the Meridian project!

I think that is a good approach to an ICO, not promising returns or anything dodgey. I must ask, what will happen to the unsold coins? Thanks!
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Meridian Ⓜ️ | DIGITAL COLLATERAL 🚀 Over $200K Raised! 10% Bonus on: October 27, 2017, 04:02:09 PM
This seems like a very interesting idea with a lot of potential but I have a few questions/concerns. What will happen to the excess tokens that are not sold off in the ICO? as of right now investment is ~200k USD, and lets say the total ends up around 500k. That would suggest a distribution total of less than 6,000,000 tokens. What happens to the remaining ~80,000,000 tokens reserved for the ICO? Additionally, right off the bat the devs will be in direct control of 41,000,000/125,000,000 tokens without even factoring in the likely scenario of a high surplus of the ICO earmarked tokens and that seems a little excessive to me. Maybe a system where the 75,000,000 tokens are distributed in totality among the participants in proportion to the amount of their investment would spark more interest?

I am also curious about this before investing anything into Meridian. I like the idea and I think it could do well but I am waiting for a little more information before buying into the ICO. I think maybe raise the amount of Meridian gained per BTC and burn all unsold coins, making the total supply more scarce thus making each Meridian more valuable and making the ICO look more appealing to investors. Adding an ETH payment option could also be a really smart move.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Price on: October 25, 2017, 04:53:35 PM
Pump to 0.15 at least, then a slow downtrend. I would assume the graph will look similar to Bitcoin Cash. These forks are just confusing regular people and making them avoid cryptocurrencies in general.

Today, Bitcoin gold price has fallen down from $479 to $136. It's really a dumping. If anyone trusts in Bitcoin gold, this is a good time to buy. Hope that its price will recover soon.  Roll Eyes

That is an IOU token, I wouldn't pay attention to any price listed until Nov 1st.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: October 25, 2017, 04:42:20 PM
See my previous post, two post before yours.

At the start of the signature campaign it was stated that the bounties were going to be released in batches, sometime after launch. Launch was on June 30th, and the bounties started being distributed 6 days late, earlier this month.

Unfortunately people take those facts to twist them and complain loudly.

Okay so launch was the end of June.. End of July, August, September is three months.. "The Bounty distribution will take up to 3 months, that39;s right. It means that bounties will be distributed step-by-step in stages. The maximum waiting time will be 3 months after the network launch". This is the time-frame they stated the bounties would be sent.. It is nearing the end of October now.. and it seems like there are still a lot of people here asking questions who haven't received their bounties, so it could be much longer.. I am not trolling I am just asking questions.

Well, since you haven't been here since I guess last year, the start of the bounty distribution was schedule at the end of September, but it was delayed by six days due to a script error. After that they are paying in batches. I believe first starting with Twitter, Facebook, etc, and now I believe it's the signature campaign.

What's interesting are the people taking advantage of those facts to fud this coin hard. Small examples, the bounties are currently being released in batches, like it has always been known. On a weekly bases it's being release. That's what's happening right now. And a person like yourself, who from your first post today I'm assuming you haven't read the thread in months. You're talking about people complaining that they haven't received their bounties, and that it's a big drama, concern, and represents impending doom. And that would make sense, if the distribution was over. What I'm trying to say is that if the first weekly batch was sent, and a person wasn't part of that batch, then wouldn't it be moronic to think that that means they're not going to get their bounties in the following batch. And throw an insane (fake) tantrum that would be so embarrassing if they were in public.

But the truth of the matter is that the fake exaggerated outrage that these couple of sock puppet accounts put forth just doesn't add up. You have a person right now saying that this coin is going nowhere, can't be trusted because of the bounties, but it sounds as fake as a person being outraged because Decent misspelled a word on the OP.

Doom, it's going no where, they hate the coin, saying all these bad things, they want their bounty so much, but they're going to make sure that the price drops before they get it.

Meanwhile you have a team that's so ambitious, with the coding, connections, partnerships, conferences. And what I love about them, they don't concern themselves with fudders. But I find responding to them entertaining.

Yes I am fairly new to most of cryptocurrencies, I mean not to troll at all though. I think in in the close future that altcoins will start to go back up and this is a similar downtrend to a few months back with the last Bitcoin fork. I expect DECENT to rise hard soon, the project is great. I was just genuinely questioning about the bounties and in the close future they will not matter either.

The bounties were supposed to start being released 4 months ago? Was there a problem with distribution or has there been a problem with the team since then?

We understand these things happen but it is just unfortunate for us.

A baiting troll.

I'm not meaning to troll at all, maybe I worded that poorly.

So I mean if the bounty hasn't been fully distributed over the three months like they said, what is happening? I mean surely there has to be some kind of problem if it is taking this much longer, it could be a very tiny problem but I just don't see any answers, just people complaining. This is genuine, I just am curious - I am not meaning to troll.
