101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 14, 2020, 03:28:46 PM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins

Bitcoin was around 20k usd at all time high. It is around 8k usd at the moment. It lost about 60% of its value. On the other hand even major altcoins lost around 90% of their value. So it is normal that people are nervous about holding altcoins nowadays.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 14, 2020, 02:59:19 PM
Some say that dollar is weak and getting weaker.

But dollar is still strongest currency.

Look at the stable coins like : pax, usdc, usdt true usd and more...  They are pegged with usd.
But how many stable coins are for euro or other currencies?

As people spreading rumours that dollar will  collapse and losing dominance, i see different.

My main question is what makes usd so dominant?

And why the euro value is higher then usd but USA dollar is still dominant, do you think that usd will be replaced by euro?

What's Ur take on that?

Financial and political power of United States make USD stronger comparing to any other fiat currencies. And it is a truth that usd is the most common currency in all over the world. Easy to exchange in any part of the world.

I joined this forum in the very beginning of 2017. i was following long before but i was really too lazy to register. Reading was enough for me. If i registered before, i wouldn't face with merit system to promote more  Cheesy I think i deserved it because i prefered not to join and support the community with posts. My aim is to make some useful posts for others and at the same time to get enough merits to promote.
104  Other / Off-topic / Re: What food restaurant do you suggest for a date? on: January 13, 2020, 06:22:07 PM
it depends on for how long you know each other, and since when you have been dating. if it is the first time, it would be better to go to a more modern restaurant that serves good wines with some not loudy but live music. if not the first one, it is ok to just go whatever you both would love to eat  Smiley
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Health is Wealth: You Take Supplements? on: January 13, 2020, 05:29:09 PM
i usually take multivitamins only. But before, when i was working hard and eating very rare, i was taking some whey protein and fish oil to keep my body a little bit avarage instead of loosing weight.
106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: January 13, 2020, 04:42:44 PM
If you have a handgun or rifle or whatever and even if you did not buy it for killing someone, you can never know what you gonna do in a case that you are get in to histerics or when you have a nervous breakdown. Having gun may push you to shoot someone when there is legal solitions instead.

If you don't have a handgun or a rifle you still have access to knives, hammers and other blunt&sharp objects.

Ok but knives are mostly (not special ones) not produced for killing people. They have other purposes. But owning a gun has one purpose. shooting and killing or wounding someone. So not the same thing.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 13, 2020, 03:56:12 PM
Whats Ur take on that?

War situation USA Trump Economy and crypto Currrency?

Do u Think that current situation have any impact on crypto?

i dont think so. the reason of the bull season was not a war or any political situation in 2017. And either bear was not as well. Market is pretty more independent from these kind of things.

The same argument works even better for not owning a car.

I've had 'road rage' a couple of times and have done risky moves to keep someone from doing a dick-head illegal pass on me or to demonstrate my dis-satisfaction at being held up for miles by three slow drivers driving side-by-side on the freeway.  I've never even come close to such a thing with my guns.  In fact I've specifically and deliberately left my guns locked up when I go out to confront someone on the county road which runs through my property.

At the end of the day, automobiles pack vastly more energy and it is vastly easier to deploy that energy against another human being by accident or on purpose than is the case with a firearm.

---

(Actually the people who want to get rid of guns also want to get rid of cars and have only self-driving taxi cabs.  Maybe not now because the programming for the end-human-driven-cars project has not been widely uploaded into people's brains yet, but we know who will be susceptible to it when this particular over-the-air update is rolled out; the same people who are now on the anti-gun kick.  The same people who want to get rid of guns also want to get rid of cars.  It's all part of a certain technocratic vision.  And they own the upgrade mechanisms.)

yeah but the difference is guns are being produced for killing. cars are being produced for transportation. So i dont think it is fair to compare buying a gun with owning a car. they are so different things.

110  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: January 12, 2020, 01:41:35 PM
Neither bitcoin nor paper money has any real value, but notes have national credit support, and what if bitcoin also gets national credit? The government will lose its macro-control policy but it can also effectively eliminate inflation, two relative ratios. Is that a good result? Of course, I know that the government is very unlikely to support bitcoin, but who knows?

i think it is not possible that any government can dare to cancel their own currency and support bitcoin. at least not yet. Because first of all bitcoin is something against any kind of authority or centralizations. Government will not support the think that they can not monitor or control.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about NEO? on: January 12, 2020, 12:35:40 PM
For once, NEO was the hottest Blockchain project in the crypto space. Prices were well above $100 per coin, and there was a lot of excitement among people within the mainstream world. With quick transaction speeds and ridiculously low fees, NEO stands up against other popular smart contract platforms like ETH and EOS. An advantage of NEO relative to its competitors is that smart contracts can be developed in various well-known programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python. In the case of ETH, you'll have to learn a new programming language (Solidity) that's not as tried and tested as other languages within the mainstream world. On other hand, EOS uses WebAssembly but this language is relatively new. Mainstream developers might find it easier to develop new dApps within the NEO blockchain than either ETH or EOS.

Most recently, NEO has announced that it will be upgrading to NEO 3.0. The cryptocurrency has been rather silent since Bitcoin began decreasing in price back in 2018. This improved version of NEO might attract a lot of people into it. But the cryptocurrency needs a lot of marketing/promotion to be able to gain traction within the mainstream world.

What do you think about NEO? Will it survive? Or will fade from existence over time? Huh

neo was a little bit unlucky and late. neo based projects were about to start strongly however the bull market was over that time. so neo was not as lucky as ethereum at that time because of bad timing maybe.
112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help me which vacuum robot to go for. on: January 12, 2020, 10:19:15 AM
Hi guys,

Okay so I've been dealing with a problem. I have furry dogs around the house and they leave balls of their furs around the house especially on the carpet. I have a robot vacuum that is not really effective for the furs. So now I am looking at ilife and roomba models as I've read somewhere that they are effective against dog furs on carpets. There is this article that I just ran into (https://www.robotvacuumarea.com/ilife-vs-roomba/) which they made a comparison on both. Can you suggest anything? Huh Huh Huh

we have been using Xiaomi Roborock S50 for around 1 year. It is really doing awesome job at work. We do not need to use vacuum cleaner so often. Roborock periodically take the dust on the floor and carpets.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much should i trust crypto Youtuber? on: January 11, 2020, 06:50:22 PM
I sometimes listen to famous crypto youtubers.

But for the most of time, they were not accurate.

Really... How much should i trust them? If there is a good one, please recommend one.

Btw, how many of you guys participating in airdrop event?

Most of airdrop cryptos that i earned kinda become worthless.

I am trying to earn BPX token at Digifinex.  I heard that BPX token is issued by an exchange

Then, I guess it is better to earn exchange token, which at least can be used. Right?

The question is why would you trust in any youtuber. They are there to earn money as well. if they had a special ability to make profit, they wouldn't waste their time with preparing videos everyday.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Preferred altcoin for bullrun? on: January 11, 2020, 04:38:05 PM
i prefer ethereum and bnb. Because launchpad and ieo of binance platform even work when the market is bearish. When bull comes i believe that binance is going to become more popular and price will go up.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: January 11, 2020, 10:32:15 AM
What happens if BTC is still rally to 100K ?
ALTS ?? dump to zero
at the moment BTC sideways until end of the year

this time currently the last choice for ALTs
take actions or die..!!!

good lucky

I dont belive that bitcoin can touch to 100k usd in short or mid term. Because this market is not ready to circulate that amonth of money yet. everybody will be in a big profit so cash outs will be hard so price will be dumped. And when it happens major altcoins were not zero. they will probably be less in bitcoinwise but their usd price will be higher for sure.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have a $2000 and had to invest in crypto which coins would you buy ? why? on: January 11, 2020, 10:17:27 AM
First of all considering the market situation at the moment, 2k usd is really nice amonth for investing.
I would prefer to stay a little bit in safe side in the beginning. I would devide it to 3 and choose ethereum, bnb and bitcoin for the beginning. and if the market starts to recover i would risk more investing in some more surprise altcoins.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 10, 2020, 09:30:21 PM
i dont want any sharp increase for bitcoin. it is better to stay around this resistance point for a while till some people start filling their bags around here and altcoins can take some breath as well.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Market Is Manipulated on: January 10, 2020, 04:22:51 PM
unfortunately you are correct. but the main reason of it is crypto market is still newly born thing. that is why bitcoin distrubition is not fair. there are some people that could collect huge amount before. And they are easily manipulating the market. It will be better after a while.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: January 09, 2020, 07:54:02 PM
It is correct that cryptocurrencies can provide anonymity for terrorist groups so they can make some hidden transfers. But terrorist groups have been using usd, gold even credit cards as well. governments can not stop them by forbidding cryptocurrencies.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 09, 2020, 07:33:18 PM
The recent Iran-US war like situation has already pumped up the oil prices and it has shown an postive effect for crypto and bitcoin as of now but how will this affect the national economy of other countries if a war breaks out?  Who will suffer most and where will this lead our economy as wars always leads to inflation.

As far as i remember from new, the issue between USA and Iran globally has not affect to the bitcoin and crypto prices. But local bitcoin price in Iran increased for a while in the first day after the murder of Iranian General Suleymani.
