101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 10, 2020, 07:20:12 AM
Yes of course it is better to conserve our money and spend it on more important things on time of crisis,
But unless you are loaded and doesn't care about the money at all then I guess you wouldn't stop gambling even on those times.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 10, 2020, 06:18:23 AM
Don't visit random site and always check the site that you log in.
Don't share or send your account information to others specially for those airdrops that ask for your private key.
103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CatchaBTC Scam (Lost 200$) on: March 10, 2020, 03:11:48 AM
You should move this topic to scam accusation.
And you should have been more careful the site isn't really trustworthy you could see that the OP of their official thread has a negative trust.
I don't get it why there are still some gamblers out there like you who would risk their money on random gambling sites when there are so many trusted sites.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a safe haven for corona virus economic impact? on: March 09, 2020, 09:32:16 AM
Yes! Bitcoin is ahmm let's say a better option for making transactions especially that there is a virus outbreak but the question is until when? Until the corona virus exists? If that's the case then it won't have a significant move through our mass adoption because everyone will get out soon. For me this dream of ours do not depend on whatever scenario we are facing, it depends on the willingness of each and everyone. If all of us really like the concept of cashless society then all of us will make ways despite of any hindrances Smiley.
Yes crypto is an option when it comes to online payment,
But that doesn't guarantee anything there are still some ways for the current currency to be used online just like here in the Philippines we could use G-cash or Paymaya to pay for any transaction they have an online wallet and a card that we could use anytime anywhere.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU JUST CAN'T SKIP KNOWLEDGE IN THIS INDUSTRY on: March 09, 2020, 07:14:55 AM
They fell victim because of their lack of knowledge and being lazy to learn the basics.
What a shame they have to learn it the hard way but it is the price they have to pay for being lazy.
The eagerness of earning without the knowledge is the reason why many newbie's are being scammed.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 09, 2020, 06:13:21 AM
It is hard to tell if things would go on there are so many positive news about crypto yet we are still experiencing price dump.
FUD is still kicking due to some news and panic because of the corona virus.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not an article about Bitcoin: "I accidentally sent £1,000 to the wrong account" on: March 09, 2020, 05:24:51 AM
The difference between crypto and Fiat when it comes to this kind of wrong sent money is we know who received it and we could ask for assistance to get our money back,
Unlike in crypto the receiver is anonymous so there is no chance to retrieve it.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS:Bitcoin Now Qualified as Legal Form of Money by French Authorities on: March 09, 2020, 04:29:13 AM
Countires legalizing cryptocurrencies.

Adoption going up, prices going down, hmm
I think we just need to be more positive just look at the bright side more country has made crypto legal for their people.
It is for the long term effect so don't let the current situation affect us.
The price could always bounce back so relax and let's wait for it to happen.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: March 09, 2020, 03:49:00 AM
Right now it isn't really suitable for payment or be consider like other currency because of it's volatility.
And others wouldn't use it as currency even if they could because they don't want to miss the chance to gain profit by holding it.
I think it is still early for it to be consider as a payment option once the price get's stable then maybe people would try to consider it.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 09, 2020, 03:12:27 AM
I like the idea but we should be more realistic here,
We know that online payment is the best solution for now and it would depend on each country if they would use crypto or just make an online wallet with their own currency.
And I think it is great to finally move into cashless society.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play dice: Strategy with BTC on: March 09, 2020, 01:47:03 AM
Most newbies don't know that kind of strategy even though for us long time gambler it is the most basic strategy that we can execute on playing dice and other games. There are many gambling strategies all over the internet and most of it has common content. This is why making new strategies out of yourself or using different techniques or combining it may be effective in the dice game. I personally shuffling up the techniques I learn all over the dice experience I have. I proved that sticking up in one strategy can make you lose in the end, Gambling sites are sure aware of this techniques by the way.
Yes it is true sticking to one strategy would burn you out for the long run.
This is why I don't recommend any strategy to be used for a long period of time because it wouldn't always be effective.
The more strategy you know the better just like what you've said because we could always shuffle it.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 09, 2020, 01:18:33 AM
I agree it is best to spend more time with family and friends when you want to recover from being addicted in gambling unless those family member and friends are the one's who trigger you to gamble.
be active find something that would keep you busy and happy at the same time find some sports or activity that you would enjoy,
And of course self discipline it is the most important part of recovering from any addiction.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction threads on: March 08, 2020, 02:25:37 PM
I don't really consider myself as addicted to gambling because I only do it so often.
But reading some threads about gambling addiction and the things that I could have had if I didn't gamble always makes me regret gambling.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: New online casino - GreenSpin.Bet! on: March 08, 2020, 01:04:36 PM
Specially for BitcoinTalk users who deposit and withdraw with crypto currencies only we do not require KYC. Your bonuses of $1100 or 0,15 BTC + 200 Free Spins for the first 3 deposits are ready, welcome aboard!
If it's true, the it's really amazing.. First time I have seen someone disable KYC for this forum users, I mean out of main terms and conditions.

It's probably just me, but it seems like a major red-flag. Most crypto casinos only have KYC procedures for when they are legally required to do so. So if you have the discretion to not KYC bitcointalk users -- why do the KYC at all Huh
The same question that I want to ask if they would exclude the forum members then why do they have to do the KYC at all.
And also how do they know if the gambler was from this forum?
I haven't tried their site yet and there are still a lot of question that seem's like OP is avoiding to answer.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving on: March 07, 2020, 09:20:49 AM
I don't really think that it is a good idea.
What if after you sell it the price of the crypto goes up it would just stress you more.
Only sell the alt-coin that doesn't have a chance to grow.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 07, 2020, 06:47:36 AM
As of today March 4 India lift the ban on crypto, how is this going to affect crypto market? Coronavirus is still out there, is this good or not good enough?

Of course it is good but don't expect that just because of it the price of BTC and other crypto would suddenly go up.
This is a great news for the improvement of crypto industry and it is also a great publicity for us.
This could gain more people to be curious on crypto and Bitcoin then later on also be an investors.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 07, 2020, 06:27:11 AM
I see many people still optimist in crypto but others deny the optimist and make me think. We know crypto is alternative and we need to grow and find what next after it because crypto is not safe, law nature also says everything has beginning always has ending. Many country try release their own coin and connect with global issue also become indicator crypto can fall deeper than before. See 2020 as good moment to find alternative out side crypto and forex is the closer and realistic answer. Now my positive thinking about crypto start collapse, do I need leave now or stay with crypto until replacement?
Replacement of what exactly?
Any investment have their risk it all depends on us if we are willing to take the risk.
And I agree we shouldn't just rely on crypto we need to find other ways if it isn't working out for us.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 07, 2020, 05:20:50 AM
We couldn't really be so sure about it nobody knows what would happen,
Even those who read the charts could also go wrong sometimes,
So it is hard to tell if it would go back under $200 again.
But for me I don't think it wouldn't go back down we are expecting BTC to have some increase because of the Halving.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 07, 2020, 03:18:51 AM
No I don't believe that Bitcoin is going to end soon and I believe that it would last for long.
Crypto is being legalized in some country and there are so many business that is already accepting it,
So I don't think that it would be gone soon or if it will ever end then I think it would be because of a new crypto has taken over it but for now I don't think that there would be a crypto that could replace it.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 06, 2020, 11:39:10 AM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
Yes and I think it already happened before the BTC was crashing down while the alts are pumping up.
Alt-coin have their own investor so why wouldn't it happen?
We just see the price of alt-coin increase when BTC pump because we are looking at their USD value but most of the time they doesn't really increase in terms of Sat's.
