Should I buy more this week, or wait more time?
I think it will keep the new floor and go even higher in this second level, to 7k.
Keep hodling it, the more in cold wallets, the scarce it will be and higher the price will go.
I bought some by the end of June, the price was 13,000 BRL. Premium was 48% over USD. Exactly 40 minutes later market crashed and it went under 9000 BRL. The amount I bought only recovered loss today. Still premium is -3,64% according to bitvalor.com tl;dr: Dunno... |

Answer is No. This bull race won't keep up forever, and once it cools down alts may valorize. At least this has been the market dynamics so far. Yup, I won't sell my alts either. At the very least they are a hedge against any Bitcoin issue. Anyway my alts are now like less than 15% of my portfolio. I've been even mining ETC at loss, and of course keeping it, naively waiting for it increase value and exchange for BTC. ETC is the third in total value in my portfolio (LTC second). I won't be selling it anytime soon, just in case. PLus I never, ever sell at the bottom.... even if the bottom could go lower. Same situation here. 1- BTC + BCH (1/2 because I was very fortunate to convert half my altcash for BTC @ 0.3) 2- LTC 3-ETC 4- A mix of various craps I mined for some months until realise only ETC was a GPU-mineable alt that could survive any longer... |

This all seems a bit strange. My original target when we started raising over 1200 was 3500 but now were here I am not really feeling like selling.

About seasteading, my fear is if a Tsunami approaches. What kind of protection would it have?
For a Tsunami, the safest place would be a seastead. Do you worry about homes on the coast due to tsunamis? Because that's who is affected. Out in the ocean the seastead just goes up and down.  Thank you, that's very informative. I ignored the waves would be so low out in the ocean. |

I can agree with you I overreacted somewhat. It's just that when someone uses words like "fascist" everything else rolls over my mind. These people cannot look ahead and see what will be the world they're wishing for. In my country we had some months ago a case where a Labor's Party MP daughter had some pics leaked on the web. The girl (a teenager) was naked, awfully skinny (bulimia), smoking a joint and blowing the smoke in a dog's face. Immediately people on internet started comparing her situation with the sons of another MP, Christian conservative right-oriented, whose 3 sons are: 1- Federal Policeman (and lawyer) and is also a MP, 2- Entrepreneur and Business Man (owns a Kopenhagen chocolate franchising), 3- Lawyer and has a political position also. Needless to say the Labor party MP spends largest part of her speeches calling the Christian conservative right-oriented MP a ~fascist~ because of his values. Maybe we should start a new thread about: -Where you can live large on the cheap -saying whatever you want -smoke whatever you want I think that bitcoin gentlemen would appreciate. That is what seasteading is looking to achieve. Maybe not so much the cheap part initially though. Should be an announcement coming this weekend that is pretty significant.
