101  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 02, 2018, 11:43:26 PM
Not really experienced it because I do work at home, however if you want to spend time in learning cryptocurrencies and the like you must do it on your free time or spare time. I know someone who always check on his trading every time he has a break so it wont complicate his job, and I think it is just basically managing your time too.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long vs. Short: Bitcoin and Alts on: June 02, 2018, 10:49:32 PM
For me long term would have to be bitcoin, ethereum, XEM, Siacoin and Stratis. Short term would have to be mostly the newly created coins or maybe those that are still on ICO. No preferrence because I barely keep coins for long term, most of them are for long term trading.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: June 02, 2018, 10:14:28 PM
There is actually no solid proof of evidence it does, however I did observed that every time bitcoin does fall down or decrease its price, most altcoins does the same thing and falls down as well.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2018, 05:52:15 PM
I'm proud to say I am one of the idiots you've mentioned who invested in bitcoin. It's my money and I get to say when I want to sell them. It's just too bad you are one of those people who's trying to send negative vibes to those who just joined in the forum. And there are some people who invested in bitcoin probably because they have done their research and concluded that bitcoin will no fail them.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: May 31, 2018, 03:45:32 PM
True and I quite agree with what the analyst at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said. It could really be a great help to those countries where money is not provided enough. For as long bitcoin will be put into good use, the economy of a certain country can actually become better.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you recommend selling my Bitcoins now on: May 31, 2018, 02:45:57 PM
Hodl is the answer, but if you need the money you can actually sell your bitcoin any time. That's what I did when I needed the money, I did not even think of the price of bitcoin and then I'll just hold the rest for future purposes.
107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: May 31, 2018, 12:09:06 PM
It's actually good that you listen to their advice but not all advices can be put into action. You just have to listen to their advice and put them all together and see what you have come up because if you just plainly listen to what they say and do them, you're just like their puppet or robot. Remember knowledge is the key to everything.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: May 30, 2018, 03:25:11 PM
I used to panic before every time the token drops its price after the ICO, but I have realized that there is a certain point in time that the price does drop down and that is the cause of panic but if you hold it for a couple more weeks or months or more it will come around and increase back its price. Just be patient and it will get back to what the ICO price was.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: May 30, 2018, 01:27:10 PM
They are most likely ignorant or does not know anything much about cryptocurrencies or they feel threatened of these cryptocurrencies and they can't do anything about it yet because it is not legalized nor regulated yet.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: May 30, 2018, 12:13:09 PM
There is actually no specific month or time or day when the market turns green, it just basically depends on the news which is what happens most of the time. And if there are big news or a project that has anything to do with mainly bitcoin.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: May 30, 2018, 04:03:49 AM
True and the OP is correct about long term trading. That's the reason why I chose long term trading and it is less hassle than the short term trading. It is best for people who have other things to do also other than focusing themselves on just plainly trading itself, because there are some of us how actually have real jobs who cant fit in their schedule short term or day trading.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 05:57:28 PM
Honestly I try not to think of it that much since I am holding bitcoin for long term. So for me, the price now does not really affect my mood everyday but it will eventually change if there comes a time bitcoin will drop almost every month. And that only means there is something wrong with bitcoin already.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: May 27, 2018, 04:01:24 PM
I dont think Ethereum is a threat to bitcoin because both coins have different platforms. And basically their goal is kind of the same but I dont think it is even trying to be a threat to bitcoin, based on its current price now.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will go up or down? on: May 26, 2018, 01:35:49 PM
I think Ethereum will go up in time but at this very moment, Im not too sure about that idea especially with the market now which cant be trusted. But if you want to invest in Ethereum though, by all means invest in them while the price is still low.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: May 26, 2018, 09:24:45 AM
When you sold your coin that time you posted this thread it would have been a good time to sell but if you sold it now, seems like you're way past half the amount it was at peak on November. I even regret why I did not sold mines that time, I was kind of greedy thinking bitcoin can reach more than $20k this year but I feel like it wont reach that amount by end of this year.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is Bitcoin used to extort people? on: May 25, 2018, 11:07:40 AM
You do have a point because if you really think of it, it is traceable for as long as they can track the blockchain. They would know how much and where the transaction was sent through, I mean to what bitcoin address it was withdrawn to.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: May 25, 2018, 10:11:55 AM
It’s currently around $7k+ so if your thinking of buying bitcoin for investment, now would be a pretty good time to buy them and hold them for long term. With the price going back to $20k, that’s still unpredictable because it could either go back to that amount or not within this year.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks is accepting Crypto! on: May 24, 2018, 11:38:41 PM
If this is true then I’m amazed of how the crypto has progressed. Im sure there are a lot of customers even those who are not into cryptocurrencies would support it.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: May 24, 2018, 02:31:23 PM
The future of virtual currency will most likely be the form of payment and other means of transaction most people will use and is starting to be used slowly. Hopefully it will keep and maintain that image for ancouple more years. That is if these cryptocurrencies will last a lifetime.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: May 22, 2018, 02:55:26 PM
I hope Etherdelta’s not dead yet but if it is then I also hope the coins listed on Etherdelta are also found on Forkdelta or hopefully they will be listed there soon.
