Does anyone know is today the day of Byzantium release on ethereum network? I read it should be released on October 9th. It should reduce blocktime from 30s to 14s (but also reduce reward from 5eth to 3eth per block). It would be increase 24% from current state...
23% to be exact. It will be deployed when block reaches 4,370,000. I see news about reducing the block time from 30s to 20s, will see. 14s it is better. But if 14s be true, 3gb 1060 may lose relevance before PoS. For how long you think rx 470 4gb will be able to mine eth? Not sure how the block time change will affect it but I believe the issue with size is actually down to the DAG size. From that the approximation is below The 3GB limit will be hit around mid-April 2018 The 4GB limit will be hit around mid-September 2019 Correction - 3gb cards will be useless by November 2018, not April as per this reddit post. 4GB cards, probably Nov 2019 or later. Do we need miner update for Byzantium?
Not that I know of - if you're mining with a pool. Solo miners must update their software. Werent there stories that 4gb cards will not be able to mine eth after march 2018? |

I suppose you guys know a lot about airdrops, I have some question. I applied for lots of airdrops that asked for my waves address so I created account on waves lite client and gave them the address on the top of the page and since then I received only estatus coins and nothing else (I applied for mycash and other...). Should I have given different address for every airdrop that i participated? How can I find those other coins in waves wallet? I am really confused, please help me.
No you don't need different wallet addresses. BTW I received my airdrop from Mycash. How to find them? Maybe I havent even got them, but I dont get it, I did everything they asked... Could you show printscreen of the section in the waves wallet? I am really confused... |

I dont think I could get more than +160 core clock and +600 memory. How did you manage to do this? |

My 1080TI HOF : Core clock : +110 Memory clock : +650 Power: 80% Fan : 100% ALWAYS. Result : 790-800 Sols How did you manage to do this? I cant do more than 720 with 80% power and when I put power to 110% I can get 770sols max with my asus strix 1080ti. Does your hashrate get bigger if you put power limit above 100%? |

Just trade the pattern boys. . . and most of the alts seem to have found a BTC value bottom so it's much less stressful trying to figure out where to put it.
Pump looked like it was going to be equivalent today, the alt dump hasn't been very strong tho. Didn't reach old lows on most coins even tho BTC hit new highs.
I'm just mining lyra2 coins. . . . wish i had gotten in on this hshare tempted to because i think you fucks might be lying (people said that about SIGT for months when it was by far the most profitable coin lol)

I make this thread for new (free) airdrop coins. I bet a lot of people miss big opportunities (like decred where you get over 1.5 btc for free at that time or node or other coins). all those airdrops, I am lost  Most airdrop are worthless, but I earn nearly one eth from ELTC2, it is my luck, no idea why someone set a high buy order, it was 8x last buy order, then I quickly sold it When was ELTC2 airdrop? As far as i remember there are 3 threads which do set an airdrop which all of them are eLTC but they are really totally different.I cant differentiate which one of them since i do recieve 3 types of eltc and same as joshuaj said i did earn on those free coins hitting up over 2 eth overall which isnt bad at all.
