101  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price on: May 21, 2017, 12:40:26 PM
Bitcoin is moving to $2000 today. What is the impact of this geometrical price movement to the world financial system? Let us discuss.
Due to the increase in the price of the Bitcoin , many people will attract toward the Bitcoin for the earning , so usually it may be possible that many numbers of the people use their fiat money to buy the Bitcoin and finally enter in the Bitcoin .
This will results into the down of the value of the fiat of his local money ( if it happened at big scale ) and increase the prices of the Bitcoin more and more .
Well here I am thinking personally that this is the last range of the Bitcoin of 2000$ and after this , it will remain stable for long time ( may be one month or.may be two )

You are not the first who says something to that tune

Though the other people were saying essentially the same at different moments and, obviously, in respect to different prices. And you guess, the price never stayed there. In fact, I don't know where the price is going to move next, though, as to me, it is likely set to rise further, maybe, to 2,500 dollars per coin, or even higher than that. But I can bet that it won't stay at current levels for long (at max, for a few days only). It is either up or down, and no way for in between

I think $2,500 is next for sure. What is the current ATH? I saw Kraken showing $2,500 plus on Monday but no news supporting this at all which is quite strange...

All of the sites listed are fiat based casinos and going through site found coinbase as recommended bitcoin wallet for gambling  Grin http://bitcoin.casino/bitcoin-wallets/coinbase/
Coinbase strictly restrict use of their wallet for gambling.

Nice catch man, he should remove coinbase from the list of bitcoin wallet for casinos. Otherwise many people who are new to bitcoin gambling will get a problem if they use coinbase for gambling purpose. Seems that OP is only collecting all available wallets but did not check it one by one.

Thank you for the suggestion. Good idea and needed to be done. We updated the coinbase review page and removed coinbase from the list of casino wallets on http://bitcoin.casino

104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Time to short Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2017, 09:27:22 PM
Is it time to short bitcoin? I think maybe it is...

Last month I wrote a post about a potential short squeeze coming https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801024

Sure enough, the price sky rocketed to over $1,300 after that as speculation over the ETH increased and shorts were forced to cover their bets.

Now it appears we could be seeing the other side of the story playing itself out. With the industry divided about a potential split and a lack of catalysts to send bitcoin up to its next leg it seems like going short could be the next best bet. Only time will tell for sure...

I currently hold no potions long or short and will be watching from the sidelines as things unfold in the coming weeks.

There is a good article on Wall Street Journal but the system keeps deleting it, i'll try to post the WSJ page url with no link this time for reference

105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos are really worth it? on: March 20, 2017, 09:10:37 PM
It been quite some time since I have been away from Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but seeing Bitcoin's price rise and the recent trends going about the block chain, it seems that soon we'll be seeing BTC becoming used as a mainstream currency by all major corporations, businesses (and even governments perhaps).

Now I've became interested into Bitcoin casino investing, but I want to know if it is worth a shot. I know that there is a risk in every investment, but I think this could be the most profitable way to go.

If anyone could share some tips or advice regarding this, I would greatly appreciate it.  Smiley

Have you made your investment already? I'm joining the discussion a bit late but thought it wise to chime in nonetheless.

It seems a very risky proposition to me and not advisable. In essence your losing control over your bitcoins in hopes to earn a profit with no iron clad guarantees from the casino. Range trading bitcoins on the market, which is also an extremely risky proposition in today's volatile market, would probably be less risky still and is likely to yield greater returns. I would not advise that either as the the average investor will get crushed if they even attempt it.

I'm investing in bitcoin casino services that I have control over. This way I can ensure my investments are only dealing with fair online casino sites. Being diversified and bringing in bitcoins across multiple income streams is also a value added benefit. For example, last month my company Casino Holdings INC bought the popular bitcoin casino website http://bitcoin.casino/. Our goal here is to make Bitcoin.Casino the main online resource for bitcoin gamblers by adding honest reviews of bitcoin casinos players can trust. We'll do this by building a community of players sharing information with one another where players can collectively police the casinos. The gambling sites with outstanding values and principles begin to outshine the rest over time. I've seen this happen with traditional fiat online casinos since 2001 and I don't see why bitcoin casino gambling should be any different.

Good luck which ever way you decide to go. Owning your own bitcoin casino website/service is the better investment IMO...

We are still building the Bitcoin.Casino gaming guide and plan to launch new bitcoin casino reviews within the month. We are gathering relevant and critical information on the ins and outs of bitcoin gambling. We are also researching Bitcoin wallets for casinos. The current bitcoin wallet guide is here http://bitcoin.casino/bitcoin-wallets/. Feedback on everyone's favorite bitcoin wallets, wallet features, etc would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

They haven't even updated the site yet?

It's still those unknown fiat casinos.
When are you planning on 'officially launching' your newly bought review site?

The domain name does look good, but make sure to review the sites you promote well/fairly.

Looks like a rubbish, spammy SEO affiliate site.

I like the domain name though.

PM me if you'd like to sell it.

I appreciate the honest feedback because its useful and it helps us out a lot. We've just recently purchased Bitcoin.Casino for $28,000 so there is no interesting in selling it. Our goal is to be the #1 Bitcoin Casino Guide on the web in 2017 and beyond.  What are your favorite bitcoin casinos online? We'd love to hear from the community about your top picks for bitcoin gaming & casino sites!  We'll reviews the best casinos picked by the Bitcointalk community and add the casino reviews to the new Bitcoin.Casino.
108  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin.Casino is a trusted online casino site for USA bettors on: March 06, 2017, 05:54:19 AM
All casinos listed on the site are fiat casinos. This has nothing to do with bitcoin whatsoever. I don't understand what the point of this post is, given that this is a bitcoin forum. People in the gambling section are looking to invest or gamble their bitcoins anonymously, unlike what you get in a fiat casino.

Hello. Sorry this was confusing. You are correct. The casinos listed are mostly fiat sites. Ironically, this is how it was when we purchased Bitcoin.Casino just last week. We'd like to learn from real people's experiences to discover who really are the fair and legitimate online casinos that accept bitcoins. I should have been provided more information in the OP. Not all details were provided as we acquired Bitcoin.Casino this last week and this was intended to reach out for feedback. The website will be be changed soon with a focus on bitcoin betting sites. Its great to hear from people that actually use the site! The feedback received is useful information for our continued web development and site architecture. We were looking to communicate with Bitcoin community of enthusiasts and casino players on BitcoinTalk to learn whats working best for people and stay up to date with the latest bitcoin information. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I'm confused.  I don't see any major Bitcoin casinos on this list.  What's your process for deciding what casinos are included on this list?  Are they mainly fiat casinos with the option of paying with Bitcoin?

These casinos don't look very legit either, to be a bit skeptical.

The online casinos currently on the site are mostly fiat casinos from what I've seen with the exception of a few. Actual Bitcoin casino reviews are going to be our primary focus in 2017. What are some of your favorite bitcoin casinos to play at? It would be good to know so we can review them and add them to the list of casinos. We'll also be updating Bitcoin.Casino every week with new BTC bonus codes, new bitcoin casinos, industry news, blog posts, etc. Thanks for your post!
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin.Casino is a trusted online casino site for USA bettors on: March 05, 2017, 11:18:48 PM
Is this real bitcoin-related site? As what I can see, most of the casinos listed on your site is not bitcoin casino. Never heard about all those casinos before, I guess they are fiat-based casino but I'm not sure which one is accepting bitcoin payment.

Thanks for your reply! We've just acquired Bitcoin.Casino and the website content that came with it. We are developing a new Bitcoin.Casino with new casinos, free games, BTC bonuses, etc. Just hoping for feedback on things people love about bitcoin casinos, like the anonymous factor, etc. Thanks!

The Casino Holdings development team will soon be adding free custom slot games to Bitcoin.Casino. We would love to hear your feedback about different kinds of bitcoin games loved by the Bitcointalk community and any ideas to make Bitcoin.Casino better. Our team was impressed with the current site development done by the prior owner so we'll keep the website live on the web as it it now until our next feature/game release. We see unlimited potential for the Bitcoin Casino Market and are looking forward to servicing the Bitcoin community of gambling websites, players and enthusiasts alike...

Bitcoin.Casino is a trustworthy bitcoin casino guide - Compare mobile online gambling sites for people in the United States.

http://bitcoin.casino/

With the current rise of legal casinos accepting US players bitcoin.casino provides complete transparency and detailed online gambling information that people can rely on in 2017.

Bitcoin.casino has an experienced team of industry experts that scour the web playing at different casinos online, reviewing other credible casino community forums and monitoring hundreds of casinos' reputations each month. Our team also verifies each casino license and regulatory status listed.

Find over 75 reviews of legal and licensed online casinos that accept bitcoin deposits. There are hundreds, in actuality even thousands, of internet casinos with some type of on-line gambling software powering their real money games that compete for your play. Bitcoin.casino lists only the top-tier bitcoin gambling sites operating online with provably fair casino software and overall payouts over 96% (verifiable by ProvablyFair).

Because Bitcoins are not a recognized currency and do not use banks or the traditional banking system they apparently do not violate any US Internet gambling laws. This is good Bitcoin news for several reasons as outlined below. I must mention that am not a lawyer and am not providing any legal advice whatsoever. I encourage meeting with your personal legal counsel to make sure your are abiding by all state/province/country/jurisdictional laws that are applicable. The only way to obtain sound information on the legality of bitcoin casino gambling is from a proper attorney/lawyer/legal counsel with a background in both Internet and Gambling Law. http://www.gambling-law-us.com/

The decentralized nature of Bitcoin and its Blockchain technology backbone provide the aforementioned legal benefits with regards to online betting. However, there is also an abundance of benefits to all of the parties involved in the blockchain's distributed ledger. The casinos themselves have less risk of charge backs. The players of course have more control over their privacy and personal information. Both the casinos and online players benefit from reduced financial transaction costs, increased speed of payments and reduced friction on payment processing. Its estimated that bitcoin transactions deriving from online gambling activity make up a shockingly large amount, (reportedly over 80%), of total bitcoin transaction as recently reported at the beginning of March 2017. All of these favorable conditions have created an online gambling bitcoin boom over the past 5 years and there are already many provably fair bitcoin casino games to play for real bitcoins. The United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia along with many other countries are quickly adopting Bitcoins into newly created FinTech ecosystems and policy expecting it to spur economic growth and foster a new era of tech entrepreneurship.

Bitcoin.Casino dice games are coming soon! Its the bitcoin dice games most popular among players and we'll be post some exciting news on dice in the next month. Of course there are classic online casino games to play like slots, progressive jackpots, roulette, blackjack, craps and video poker, but its the BTC dice games with faucets that make Bitcoin casinos truly unique.

Make sure to choose a secure wallet to store your bitcoins. Wallets are also used to quickly and easily send/receive BTC payments to and from gaming sites. You'll need a safely guarded wallet before you play at an on-line casino for real coin or cash. Whether your playing with BTC, ETH, LTC or any other cryptocurrency for that matter, having a secured wallet is essential regardless of your preferred coin of choice.

Bitcoin.casino is now a member of Casino Holdings INC following the company's recent acquisition of the Bitcoin.casino website.
https://calvinayre.com/2017/02/27/business/bitcoin-casino-domain-acquired-28k-record-sale/

The buyout of the Bitcoin.casino domain name set a record for highest the sale of any .casino domain name to date coming in at $28,000. This investment from Casino Holdings INC signals the company's move from traditional web-based gambling into the rapidly expanding bitcoin online casino space.

113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin short squeeze on the way? on: February 22, 2017, 08:44:37 PM
Could a potential Bitcoin short squeeze be on the way in  the coming days and weeks? I think so...

Before I go into my reasonings for a potential Bitcoin short squeeze, I'll put out the disclaimer that I'm still fairly new to Bitcoins. With that being said, I'm an experienced Market Trader and know a thing or two about what makes Markets move and the ingredients for a short squeeze. For the short squeeze, it's often a company or commodity, some trading asset that is very bipolar and controversial in its very nature. People tend to be very passionate about these matters, either very much for the investment or very much against it. They all have their reasons why. In these instances of bipolar investments, the shorts who are so passionate against the investment, the in this case Bitcoin, will sell short heavily as it approaches all-time highs. That's where we are at now with Bitcoin, approaching all-time highs. It's reasonable to think there are those disbelievers of Bitcoins, or Bitcoin haters who are so adamantly against the very essence that could be shorting heavily right now. If they are selling short and true buying demand drives the price through to new all-time highs, which I think will happen here soon, this could cause the shorts to go covering their bets which further increases buying demand creating a potentially very nice short squeeze in the near-term before March 11th ETF decision.

What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your replies, I look forward to reading them and discussing the topic further...
