101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation are taking forever to process, is it only me? on: October 27, 2017, 09:33:47 PM
Confirmations are taking forever to process if you are not using the correct wallet. There are wallets with RBF and CPFP which are features that allow you to use BTC cheaply and quickly.
I think besides using different wallets, it also depends on the location. Its no a guess it is a fact, for instance you're in my country then most likely it will take 6 hours or so to make the transaction successful. It really is taking a very long time, I hope the will fix this (talk about Segwit). But I think in the recent Segwit this is not their priority, so we still need to wait that long.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 27, 2017, 09:23:23 PM
You can check to the Altcoin(announcement) thread really, that is the place where new campaigns or airdrops are. You just need to be very keen in finding one, because we never know if it is legit. There are tons of Airdrops out there but not all are legit, that's what I mean.

Besides Airdrop, there are also signature campaigns that have airdrops so its like, two birds with one stone, more like a win-win.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: October 27, 2017, 09:00:27 PM
I think the main reason is because they cannot control bitcoin. Fiat price can influence the economy of the country so they afraid if their citizens are change their fiat to bitcoin that make their fiat price down.
That is correct mate, since Bitcoin is decentralized and volatile, they definitely not going to control it anytime soon. But people would not switch to Bitcoin so soon, they will utilize it but it will coexist in Fiat for now, because Fiat is still relevant and still many things can be negotiable through Fiat only. Therefore there are still boundaries in utilizing Bitcoin.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 27, 2017, 08:49:44 PM

bitcoin is used in many crimes, including drug sales
Yes, but that's also true for literally every fiat currency. So it's a pretty much irrelevant point to even think about.
Hmm, have you heard about the deepweb? Its like the black market in the physical world, where many stolen goods, firearms and even drugs are being sold here. Since the government ca not track every transaction they made, because besides using VPN and stuffs, masking yourself is also a must. So the anonymity of every person here is absolute, I mean do you want to be recognize in that kind of place?
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest time for bitcoin to enter your wallet? on: October 27, 2017, 08:37:50 PM
I just started receiving $10 worth of btc in my android wallet. The process so far has been over 45 minutes. What is the longest wait you have personally experienced?
Well I had to say that it will depend on the location to where you are. 45 minutes is quite fast if you had to ask me, because in my country its delayed for like 6 hours or so. Well the transactions are not that easy as you think it is, and I had to say also that it depends on the wallet that you are using.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 27, 2017, 08:10:30 PM
I would have to say that Bitcoin is definitely money. I use it to buy games and other things online. Just like MC.
It is definitely money alright, buying things online is the first step of it. Well I heard that Bitcoin are now accepted as payment in universities for tuition that is. Also to those counties that have already accepted it as their own currency; their government let some privileges in using Bitcoin.
107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: October 27, 2017, 07:58:51 PM
No one can know when the pump is happening because only the person who does the pump can know. The graph will also not be able to help because anything can happen. The only way is to always see price movements. It can be a reference to be able to predict the price, when the price increases then immediately do the action and when the price drops then immediately do the action as well.
I am absolutely agree with you mate, there is absolutely no definite indicators for guessing the bitcoin prices. What we need to do is always try to be in a favorable position. So action in every condition is very important, and also we should not to be greedy and afraid because this emotions will destroy us.
There is a way really, its just that it is hard to comprehend. If you would observe the chart, the dates of it. There is some sort of like 66% of the time that you can predict if it will have a very good price or not.

It is directly proportional to the time, just observe the changes form time to time and you will eventually get what I mean.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 27, 2017, 06:59:18 PM
Most very likely the bitcoin will go down soon or afterwards than and also will significantly less much more used too so it would not be very good at all for the bitcoin.
If that case would ever happen, the case is still unknown. And besides will it ever happen, despite all of this dumps and segwits, the price of Bitcoin is still considered as a pump. Compared to last year it was boomed like 200% of its price, and it is still continuing to increase in value.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 27, 2017, 06:47:34 PM
For me yes i agree because bitcoin can reduce the people unemployed . There are so many people in the world can't find a job because some of company giving  requirements is graduated in collage.
It does not add up to the number of people employed as well, it might be true that through this it can reduce people that have no jobs but it can not also be determined if that person is also employed. Since the government do not have the control over how much you earn in this kind of platform. You may earn a lot but the government can not tax you for that and that means that you do not belong to the employed people where their salary are being reduced by a percentage, and that is tax.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 27, 2017, 06:23:51 PM
I don't see how bitcoin is helping people in Africa getting food or avoiding wars.

Exactly, these people are just assuming things that Bitcoin could do a lot of things, they have so high expectations that even world poverty can be resolved. Its true that it can be resolve a mans economic status but a whole country or even the world's poverty, I do not think so. Bitcoin is just a mere currency that has a great impact to investors right now, but now much for the economy so I do not see how it can solve such a phenomenal outbreak.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the games you play as you earn? on: October 27, 2017, 05:03:00 PM
I am addicted to sports betting and generally I gamble on cricket and tennis and if I ever win I continue to gamble with same sports as I have good knowledge of them and I am following those games since long time so I know what are the strengths and weakness of a player or a team which makes it easy for me to determine the results.
Well that is very good technique and analyzing right there mate. You really did your assignment huh. I mean if you really have the knowledge in any kind of platform then it is easy for you to identify and determine the result. No matter what kind of platform or type material is being used in the gambling as long as you have knowledge in that, you have the advantage out of it.
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet on WWE on: October 27, 2017, 04:53:21 PM
If you can bet on awards shows...then why not the WWE?
What? It is obviously the topic here mate, why are you still advising him to do a a bet on WWE? I am confused seriously? Are you reading at all mate?

You know what this is none sense, since we know that WWE is not a tournament anymore and just an entertainment, even though it has violence in it, it is now at rated E (everyone). They are all just artist now, actors to be precise, the gore and violence of this show is not the same. So it is not worth your time and money to bet on this kind of things.
113  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 27, 2017, 04:43:03 PM
The most popular currency in the virtual currency is Bitcoin. The most smart and safe investment is the Bitcoin. Bitcoin demand is increasing day by day and prices are rising. In the future, I will support Bitcoin
Popularity alone is not as good you think it is, I mean not t be rude about Bitcoin. Bitcoin really is a good coin, and it is the number one crypto coin in the market at the moment and its concept is not that also bad. Its price is at a very good state, high pumped value since last year. And the demand is high obviously, but as you might see lots of altcoins are also gaining to Bitcoin. So I am suggesting that invest not only in Bitcoin, but also to altcoins that are more closer or have a high chance to have more profit.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: October 27, 2017, 04:33:26 PM
remain the same: buy down sell up

Yeah nothing else more to do in order to get profit on trading. I just go to buy a low price and wait to high selling price.
That is the most common strategy for traders, well how about no buy but lots of profit? We may wanted to consider joining ICOs, and make sure that they are forked to a more relevant coin like Ethereum and after the ICO you can just sell it in the exchanger and have a lot of profit, trust me it is very effective.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: October 27, 2017, 04:12:04 PM
It does not mean that fresh water fishes are not salty means that salt water fishes are not. What I mean is that it does not mean that a hardware wallet is effective for you does also mean that it is effective for other people. And on top of that it is also depends on how often you are going to use Bitcoin.

If it is like very often then an online wallet is recommended since it can be accessed right away and you can convert it to fiat just as quick. But if you just wanted to old Bitcoin and wait for it to have a pumped price then a hardware wallet is a more logical choice.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 27, 2017, 04:02:48 PM
Bitcoin can help people who have knowledge about it but ending world poverty with bitcoin alone is impossible. Not all people know about bitcoin specially those places that has poor technology. Also, bitcoin is not the only source of money and income here in the world.
Well, fortunately a country don't need that kind of advanced technology in order for them to have knowledge about Bitcoin and earn it. I mean you just really need some foundation knowledge about computers, blockchains, and the digital currency itself. Then you will need some needy requirements like a device or a Computer and the most important element, Internet. So if you would analyze it you don't really need that advanced in technology.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 27, 2017, 03:52:54 PM
BTC for me is financial independence and the opportunity not to be a slave and subject to a greedy government
You got it quite right, it is one of the great concepts of Bitcoin, well all of the cryptocurrency really. All of these Digital Currency are making new ways of a currency could have been, I mean they have more potential than the traditional 'Fiat' ways of payment and use.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: October 26, 2017, 04:44:43 AM
When the value of the bitcoin is the lower value. Last Oct 25, 2:00am (GMT+8), I saw the value of the bitcoin is lower or decreasing so I buy bitcoin. I will sell it if the value is higher so that is my strategy.
Well the price of Bitcoin got low because of the Segwit that has happened recently but for the record this doesn't affect the price at all because the pump of it is still in effect if you know what I mean, since the 'China-banning' Well that country is in pain right now I guess, but anyways its good for you to buy the coin at that state.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: October 26, 2017, 04:19:47 AM
Safest way to keep bitcoins is to choose very good wallet like https://www.myetherwallet.com/ or other similar.

Then,
NEVER
NEVER
NEVER
NEVER
pubblish the private key.
That is a good online wallet and many users are choosing that wallet in their many tokens or coins. Hmm I'd liked to ask, have this kind of disaster ever happened to you? The published private key thing? I mean who would ever want that, it is OK to post it if your the manager or something to make the tokens legit and you can that the token to the wallet but, if it was yours and that wallet have a lot of tokens that have potential good profits in it then you're screwed.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 21, 2017, 02:07:41 AM
It can become a large currency and then it will get regulated, which turns it into the same currency we have now but digital.
Well that is promising with regards to the utilization of the Bitcoin in the entire area, but we should also consider the drawback from this. When we talked about regulated that means that the government found a way to control Bitcoin somehow. I mean not entirely the Bitcoin but its usage, they will set regulations and eventually those will be taxed.
