103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you currently supporting, and Why? on: March 28, 2017, 02:19:55 PM
Hi All,

It would be interesting to know which Altcoin(s) are you currently supporting and why are you supporting them.

This will greatly generate insights to new adopters and help them get in cryptos.

In addition to BTC, I am holding ETH because of the technology as many new altcoins are developed using ETH blockchain. So for me this is a valuable digital asset for the future of cryptos.

Please share your thoughts on this thread.

All the best!
I am supporting Litecoin because its one of the major altcoin that is undervalued at the moment and has high potential to grow upto 8-9$,I think litecoin is best longterm investment.

I agree with the term undervalued since it has been there from the beginning. By why is that? and what makes you think it would grow to $8-$9 range? I would like to know more about that.

A Crazy day. upto 3 times pump!

Yeah just be careful it could be speculations only between big holders. But I wish it stays stable.

Just moved over $17m market cap.

CryptoCurrency Market Capitalizations shows almost 10BTC trade volume last 24hours. Seems something happening or...?

Still no news but a lot of buys on bittrex. Are people just speculating about dNote coming back with some good news tomorrow? I am still holding some let's see if it will be worth to wait.

Yeah still not positive though. But lets wait and see, the loss isn't much anyways as its still circulating around the same value.

That's good it is easy for me to hold since I just have XDN bought back with some of the profits, maybe harder for people that got in during the last pump in Poloniex after delisting it   Embarrassed

Delisting the coin was a major indicator for this nightmare. The rest just playing with it like they do with BCN.

Are you holding any other coin?

I understand what you mean. Since no information is available about the ICO whatsoever, should we consider the coin dead already? Or we are just hoping for something to happen from nowhere?
Yes it's dead but it's easy to pump due to low market cap and almost zero inflation. Zcash and similar coins now offer anonynous messages and transactions, also cryptonote sucks compared to ZK-snarks.

Being able to send messages is a very nice feature though but the reality is that all cryptonote sucks and will die eventually(90% probability).

Interesting points. Many users complaining from Zcash trojans and hacks. Maybe better to stick to ETH for its reputation and value.

Time to let xdn go I guess ;p

Did you dump your coins already?  Shocked

I am considering it. Should I? ;p

if supporting that you mean is about to do trade the coins, then i am trade with many altcoin but if supporting for each coins, then i don't think that i can give support for many coins. i only support for the trading only because i don't know about each of the technology of the coins so i think its better to support the coins from doing trading each of coins.

I believe the support goes beyond the financial means, but does include the trade of course.

As this thread extends, it is really difficult to keep up with all altcoins out there especially for the purpose of trade. It takes extensive research to cover some in detail in order to get involved, but we are still missing out those uncovered.

XDN at $0.000204 with $1.3m market cap.

Trading on Bittrex has jumped to 40% of the total volume. Interesting isn't it?

Just speculation on my behalf, but a very few people own almost all of the coins, and so it's not very hard for the price to be manipulated.....

Also, if dnote was at all interested in reviving this coin, why would he never actually bother to turn up on this site? No details on the ICO which are actually helpful.

I understand what you mean. Since no information is available about the ICO whatsoever, should we consider the coin dead already? Or we are just hoping for something to happen from nowhere?

Holding Ethereum is the right choice to invest in an altcoin. Eth have more valuable than any coins that famous now on the market. Even the price is lower than dash, but everything is proof on the marketcap. Peoples have beleive on this coin, so I should be one of that people.

I think Ethereum will exceed expectations since this is only the beginning for the rise. But the technology and community behind it will make it grow faster.

It is hard to put ETH into other altcoins at the moment, but it sounds fascinating to some of us to invest ETH for bigger returns I guess.
The ethereum community is really strong with the ethereum alliance to be the partner for the ethereum foundation. We can't put ethereum to sit on the others chair.

It would be interesting to know how did Ethereum build their community to that level. Obviously, the technology alone will not make such a strong one.

but...dev are still alive?

only 13 sat, not a big speculation

I agree. People are buying more now and hoping for something despite the disappearing dev.

We shall see in the next hours.

The whitepaper stated that "2 million tokens will be sold on the site post-launch for a fixed price of 1 ETH". I wonder how reliable is that?

I think this is too good to be true for a new coin to be sold at this value.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DigitalNote |XDN| - ICCO Announce - NEWS on: March 27, 2017, 02:17:55 PM

Nice move up in price, let's see what's going to happen. Smiley

Yeah, it is going to be a tough ride and make it difficult to get some more coins. Seems like the majority takes action at the last minute. Good luck!
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you currently supporting, and Why? on: March 27, 2017, 02:11:20 PM
It is wise to keep an eye close to the following digital currencies and expect an increasing value in the years to come:

Waves, Next, Gulden, Dash, Nem, Factom, Dogecoin, Byteball, Bitshares, Solarcoin among others.

The ones with the lower prices to buy are Dogecoin, Bitshares and Nem. From these three, Bitshares is expected to have a slow but consistent growth given the fact that numerous innovative projects are being developed right now involving the Bitshares platform, including the openledger decentralized conglomerate (DEC).

Bitshares look very active with many interesting projects being developed as well. The community is strong too. This should be sufficient to bring on more supporters, will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the mention!

You might want to get in touch with your Lead Developer Sergeev Dmitry and let him know that there are three Linked In profiles with his image being used as evidenced by this Google search page and archived here. (note, these are clearly imposers - right?)

Two are under the name Anton Stulnev while the third is for an Alexis Morant

As you can see there are links to two pages here and here (archive and archive) where Sergeev Dmitry's image is used for Web Designer stuff...

...not to be confused with the other Sergeev Dmitry (archive)

I am however concerned with the other EthBits Team members...

Monty Singh is a fictional character on Har Mard Ka Dard as evidenced by Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Har_Mard_Ka_Dard

Quote
Har Mard Ka Dard is an Indian Hindi drama television series, which is premiere on 14 February 2017 and broadcasting on Life OK. The series is produced by DJ's Creative Unit of Tony Singh and Deeya Singh and directed by Parmeet Sethi. The series aired on weekdays' nights Mon-Fri 8 pm

Cast:

Karan Singh Chhabra as Monty Singh

While Pedro J Rodriguez is either a Formula 1 race car driver from the 1970's or, is a soccer player born in the 1990's

That just leaves the faceless Eric P. and the Luke Smith with the very common surname that don't show up in any searches.

Unless I'm missing something?

I would use my common sense in that regard. I have done some research but no positive result with these names.

Putting together a few pictures on a website with fake names could not be easier though. I hope others would not fall for it.
