101  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone use YoBit anymore? on: November 06, 2017, 10:32:17 PM
YoBit has always been one of the biggest exchanges that has been created, but the owners are so greedy, they want to raise as much money as they can, and this is why they are listing shitty coins only to receive some bitcoins for free in order to list them, and that is why there are some pump and dump coins, and nobody can stop this. And they are stopping people to withdraw their funds, probably this is the main reason of why people are not using YoBit anymore, it is a shady exchange.

I left it almost a year ago and I'm very happy in other exchange platforms. Yobit was really problematic and all the garbage things were listed in there. I feared to lose my bitcoins there. They also do lending which is very dangerous. I simply stay away.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations before buying BTC on: November 06, 2017, 10:10:42 PM
What is the metrics that you take into account before investing in BTC? Do you think about how much it has been rising, what is news is coming up, and your personal belief in crypto?

I'm focusing on the bigger picture. Sure, it can bring short term profits but it's the big picture that makes me hold onto it when the price drops. I always read as much as I can trying to figure out why the prices decreased or increased and have my own view instead of trying to follow the crowd. .
I have invested because I could see how BTC is changing the world and how popular it's becoming. I've put my money into it long ago and haven't sold even when I was at a loss.

You have a point on that. Because if you look at it at short-term basis and you're monitoring the trend every minute or every hour, you will go crazy.
Because once the BTC drops a lil bit, you will feel that you lost something that you should have sold it earlier.
And also, don't rely entirely with your BTC investments, like you put all of your life savings into this.
Because if something goes awry, at least you will not regret for the rest of your life.

The paty you will follow is extremely dangerous, let me say. You can't trust bitcoin 100% clearly and you can't know what's gonna happen in the future. It can start a decline trend once again and this would be very bad for you honestly if you go with all in by getting bitcoin.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Government. on: November 06, 2017, 08:05:04 PM
Bitcoin is very good for fast transactions but government has to watch the transaction details.some gambling is possible in bitcoin trading.government have to involve and support the bitcoin.bitcoin transactions fees also low than banks so it is very usefull.
The transaction of the bitcoin is increasing and this is now getting fast and this has made the bitcoin more valuable and the reliable I hope this will buy the bitcoin for the best time, I hope the bitcoin will increase the profit and in the future almost all the people will use the bitcoin for the side income I hope this time the value of the bitcoin will not be less than the present time.

They can't watch tx details unless they get the identity information from an Exchange. Bitcoin transactions are totally anonymous (not like Monero but) and they can't understand WHO is WHO after they look at the tx details of anyone.

That's why they don't want bitcoin to be used across the countries.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite 3 altcoins and why? on: November 06, 2017, 07:10:27 PM
BITCOIN: I don't feel like I have to say much about it. The dominating factor of the market. All should include bitcoin in their portfolio.

ETHEREUM: My expectations are very much from ethereum. It will be widely used in the future and its price will go up easily.

WAVES: Very good Project, bad team members behind it. If they expand their developer team, waves can be the vital part of the coins.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Most Insane Prediction of Bitcoin & Ethereum on: November 06, 2017, 06:50:03 PM
My "Most Insane Prediction" is based on a few thesis: 1) Be a total contrarian to general assumption and expectation, and 2) Be totally beyond commonly accepted reason and logic, and yet remain rational.

So here goes...

This is the generally accepted one:
1. Bitcoin will reach USD10,000 and slightly beyond from now to early or mid of 2018.

This is the "Insane" one:
2. This rally to USD10,000 will be Bitcoin's final rally.
3. There will be no further rally to USD100,000, let alone USD1 mil, into the future.
4. After reaching the USD10,000 level, Bitcoin will revisit the 2013 price pattern event whereby the price will start to decline lower and lower for several years.
5. Many will think reaching USD100,000 is a possibility too in the future, and proceed to sell their houses and cars to get into Bitcoin, and suffer losses or missed opportunities.
6. The top Bitcoin elite owners (all the way back in 2009/2010) that constitutes the most concentrated top Bitcoin holdings, start selling/cashing out to the ultimate bag holders that are late into the game.
7. Bitcoin will fall from the top #1 position by end of 2018.
8. Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin to be the #1 in the same time period.

Note:
You may disagree all you like, but as I said, this is "My Most Insane Prediction".

I really didn't find this reasonable. There is no logic behind your argument. There is no reason for bitcoin to start decreasing like crazy as in the old days, in 2013. The trend of bitcoin already changed hard.

But ethereum can still surpass bitcoin within 5 years, I believe.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks and Bitcoin on: November 06, 2017, 06:34:01 PM
Banks are going to be purchasing crypto and bitcoin derivatives as soon as the legislation passes, which means big money will flow into Bitcoin and alts so next year we should see explosive growth in this area. Now we have seen venture capital come in the way of blockchain run ICOS, but next year starts the big money flow. Banks will be running on the blockchain soon.

Rather than using bitcoin, they will develop their own cryptocurrencies probably. Or they can simply adopt ripple and start using it in their transfer system for P2P payments at least.

They will declare this within 1 year I think. Customers are always asking for cryptocurrencies in the branches of the banks.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: November 05, 2017, 06:20:55 PM
No, I do not think it can helps to fight poverty. Bitcoin does not make money rain from the sky, to own them you need to buy them. For this reason, that will change absolutely nothing, nothing. Morevoer poor people do not even have computers...

I can say that even poor people can access computers.  Here in our country even we do not have computers of our own, there are establishments who are offering to rent their computers with internet.   Also even we are poor we have education, so we can read and write.  As long as you can understanf things and can read and write, even it cannot end world poverty, at the very least it can help each individual to escape poverty.  Bitcoin can improve the life of poor people.

How could you claim this, may I ask? People in Africa don't have access to internet or computers. They don't even have their bank accounts. Saying bitcoin can end the global poverty is not so meaningful for me.

It's still only for rich people that makes their money bigger every passing day.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when the market is full of red on: November 05, 2017, 03:28:42 PM
There is an old saying: "Master Emotions And You'll Master The Market" - I know that this is not easy to do, but unfortunately this is the only way to follow if you want to be a successful trader.
You need to understand that trading is finding a golden proportion between Fear and Greed - With altcoin/cryptocurrency trading it is even harder to find the best position.
Uncertainty creates emotional turbulence as there is no telling what future value of altcoin will be. And I will tell you this: the point of maximum financial opportunity is always linked to the lowest price.

Very well said honestly, but as human beings, we're not able to control our emotions all the time. Reddish market can affect our emotions very negatively and this causes us to open wrong positions on the market. Like buying expensive coins or selling with cheap prices.

Probably, the best is waiting until the market turns into green during dump and crash times.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC and TOP alts price action. on: November 05, 2017, 02:38:17 PM
IOTA definitely is an interesting choice. Their team is also interested in implementing anonymity into their coin which is extremely promising if they can actually pull it off. However, the currency itself is definitely still quite young.

Lots of potential to show, in my opinion. But right now, we may see some further dips before a pump back up to 0.5 USD+.

The downward trend has to stop soon though.

That's correct. Their blockchain will be very useful in the future for especially casino platforms. Check bitdice casino project's partnership with IOTA infrastructure. I really trust their team and have IOTA in my portfolio.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 02:21:18 PM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

Well my plan is to save it until I have enough to buy a new car. Also, I’ve been saving up to buy a new house for my family. With bitcoin’s value I’m sure it is more than enough to dream things like these.

Long time plans changes always as the market keeps giving us new record prices in bitcoin. We couldn't guess this high price. Then holders started to realize some profit by selling their bitcoins as seen on market.

My plan is to have a house in the city center of Talin with bitcoins.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine Altcoins or ICO that are too good to be true? on: November 04, 2017, 12:06:36 AM
You're still saying White paper and team member page. This is really not helpful. Check the tokens of several great ICO and see how they were dumped on the people. They made 300% loss for their investors.

This is just awful. Probably owners are dumping on people without lock-out of tokens.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is over 7000$ Should i invest now? on: November 03, 2017, 11:23:50 PM
I keep my money with LTC and ETH.
I think to buy some BTC now. Should i buy now?

As for me, i think it will decrease to 6000, but then go up to 10 000

What do you think?

The answer is totally up to your personal budget, expectations etc.

If you're looking for a short term trade, this may not be a good idea. If you're a holder, you can still buy it not to miss possible pumps. But never buy bitcoin blindly.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 02, 2017, 11:52:26 PM
I think that this is the best thing to do if you have a family and you want to secure your family. If you want to have a great future then you should save bitcoin for your children and you should do a lot of work before you reach to the point that you can relax and feel safe with your savings because if you will become greedy in spending money from bitcoin then the savings will not happen because the problem is from you.

I agree, even though I do want to take benefits of the profit from my investment in the future I think mostly my future children and family will make the most out of it specially the bitcoins I will earned and hold by that time. I'm afraid I'm at that stage where I wouldn't be able to travel and move much but as long as I see my plans succeed and my family happy then it wouldn't be a problem.
Why? You do not need to spend all time to work in Bitcoin and save Bitcoin for your children while you do not have any free time for relax and travel with your family in holiday. You should think trading or earn Bitcoin like a job, you still need to have relax time.

I've been saving bitcoins for 1 year and I'm not doing this only for my personal purposes. I do this for the future of my children. I know the conditions will be much worse when they come to this world and they will need more money I need currently.

Anybody having children should follow this way so that they don't have economic problems.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 10:22:51 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

As i know, no real bank accept bitcoin. Maybe some digital banks accept it and you can withdraw thee money to local bank.
I see many new ico's about cryptocurrencies banks. I hope some of them will succeed.

Some users say their banks in their country accepts bitcoin, but they never say the country and the name of that banks. So I think they're not telling the truth.

In my country, there is no country accepts bitcoin as of now.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum coins - Too late? on: November 02, 2017, 09:41:51 PM
Ethereum is also one of the top 10 coin by marketcap so when all this hype over bitcoin fork will be over, people will quickly move their bitcoin into alts mostly into alts that have good daily trading volume and marketcap.

ETH, LTC, ETC, XMR are few that can fly within few minutes or hours after fork.

ETH's place on the market cap is more different than being in top 10. It's the only coin has a real usage in projects. Check all, none of them are funcional right now. Even bitcoin is useless sometimes. Then it's never late to buy ethereum.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Etherium much stable than Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 09:26:43 PM
i trust in Bitcoin since there was ja bad joke that the etherium owner was ded eth never cames back ....
as i see on the chart now its 290$ .... so i think you should trust in Bitcoin !!!

kind regards

Ethereum is not more stable than bitcoin because the most stable one on the market is bitcoin clearly. Ethereum is also stable in terms of price and features.

The rest of the 900 coins are very unstable.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC is rising the price? on: November 01, 2017, 08:27:00 PM
There are a few reasons why BTC price is rising and definitely the CME news play a part. The other significant reason is because of the upcoming fork.

We have seen two forks in the previous days. 1 august fork made a huge increase in bitcoin and also BTG made a huge increase in bitcoin as well. This is showing that upcoming fork will make the price even higher possibly.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of Bitcoin in 2020 on: November 01, 2017, 07:31:08 PM
2020 is really long time period for price prediction. But minimum is 12000$ and i cannot find a highest level.
If we are talking when i will sell my bitcoins then i will sell if bitcoin price hit 100k$ then i will get retired for sure.
are you sure you think what is the growth of the price of bitcoin it is really? can't understand where are taken these figures, as forum already full various forecasts to this question. .

You don't need forecasts for this. My personal target is around $100.000 too. This is normal when we take the global demand into account and it's reasonable to hold our bitcoin for the next years.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 07:10:30 PM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
I am highly interested that why my country GOVT don't accept bitcoin. I think many country don't accept cause he don't want to come in world currency and digital currency. many country think bitcoin effect her money lander.
- Not accepting the bitcoin is probably correct, they need to do this because bitcoin has an impact on the economy, the government can not accept it, if accepted, money laundering will occur frequently, many people will evade taxes and harm the economy of the country
- In my country, they are also banned bitcoin but they banned the use of it as a payment method, I can buy, sell, hold the bitcoin freely, but I can not use it in real life, in short bitcoin is out of control, the government wants to ban Bitcoin also because they want to avoid illegal actions may occur

They don't want uncontrolled economy for their citizens. They want more tax from their citizens. They want the usage of their national Money. So therese are the obvious rasons for ban of bitcoin.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: November 01, 2017, 06:48:00 PM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?

time management is necessary to manage multiple accounts, so that in following the project can be completed properly.

Well in my case, I am finding some difficulty on my time management. For now I'll find it difficult because of not having a permanent internet connection of my own so I used to load every now and then to make my campaigns. And also because I got a load for my sim just for 1 day promo of data connection so I am setting a 2-3 days for my campaigns, and making it sure that I'll be finished it so that I can do household chores. And I can say that it was really hard.

You need to manage it very well. You need a Schedule for that. Please check mine below:

-1 hour to see all bitcoin news on the websites.
-2 hours to check price charts and develop trade strategies.
-30 minutes to check bitcointalk forum.

This will help you somehow.
