101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell Now - Buy Again @ $10500 on: August 13, 2019, 12:19:15 PM
Not everybody in this industry will listen to your advise because many of them want huge gains and will like to hold against the huge profits before they sell. For me I will prefer to take profit small small till am able to make the require profit I desire. Is better to sell with low profit and buy more than to hold against loose.
You really have deep knowledge on how one should play around and increase he or her bitcoin. Take profits using little price movement is better than holding  when Bitcoin is flipping up and down. I agree with at @op that Bitcoin will test $10800 support level as the current volume cannot support going forward in pricing. However, after testing $10800 it might jump to $12,200 resistance level as it has been happening before.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dont stop been a bounty hunter because of present condition on: August 13, 2019, 07:03:55 AM
I have not participated in bounty projects since early 2018, it is said that 90% of bounty projects are dishonest.  And in fact, I also took a lot of time for bounty projects.

I have a brother that just make around 0.86btc from a bounty that he participated in 2018. When he encouraged me to join the bounty I disagreed with him because I have participated in many bounties that turned out to be a scam and some of them I even invested money! One thing I have learned is to participate in all the available bounties as you don't know the one that will turn profits for you. Since it is free to join I see it as a less risk compared to investing and trading.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning bitcoins is against the law on: August 12, 2019, 04:17:48 PM
Every country has its own legal regulations. But there is something that applies to all countries. It's not possible to ban Bitcoin. Only a number of measures can be taken. These will not be enough. Remember, restricted things arouse more interest.
The India government was not well informed about what bitcoin is, the benefits of holding it and the positions it stand in the future as regard to our exchange rate and stores of values. If India goes ahead and makes a law that should criminalize bitcoin's holding, then she might be left out in the scheme of things in the future and her citizen are going to leave in regret! Bitcoin is an asset that worth like gold to me and any governments that hold a large quantity of it might stand in a chance to control the world in the future.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MarketCap is returning to $300+ Billion Territory Again Can it be Sustain? on: August 12, 2019, 02:19:04 PM
I'm guessing, the majority are exchanging alts for BTC and thus we are seeing this kind of trend. It has mainly to do with BTC halving the next year which will surely boost the price of BTC more. I hope with that, the alts move up at price too.
The halving has contributed to the reasons why bitcoin keep going up in 2019 and I think you are right by thinking along this way. We are having a very strong increase in bitcoin dominant and some altcoin are also recovery and that is the sign that people are prefering bitcoin to other coins and fiat. I am predicting that before the end of this month bitcoin should be above $13,880 this year high and volumes should get back above $370,000,000,000.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Worrying Stock Market Drop and Fiat Devaluation on: August 12, 2019, 01:36:04 PM
Maybe a global crisis is coming. Bitcoin never saw one.

Stock market drop may bring more money to cryptocurrency market, as it may be seen as a non correlate asset, which may work as a hedge against this crisis.

Pure especulation but it makes sense, and it may lead cryptocurrency holders to great profit.
I do agree with this your views, more funds are going to flow into cryptocurrency market as the momentary crisis between yen and USD/others currencies now exist. The stock market has been having bad days for more than three days now, it is a sign that the devaluation is having it deals on the world money and capital. China is a large economy and the interest rate cutting in the USA and the devaluation of yen can only move institutional and micro traders and investors to hedge their holding for bitcoin as I have decided to do now.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 12, 2019, 09:47:32 AM
This is a very stupid move and it might lead to the hacker being caught a lot quicker. A mixer service takes your coins and mix them with other people's coins, but the larger the amount of coins being mixed, the higher the chances that those coins might be mixed by the coins being send. It is rumoured that mixing services are less anonymous with larger amount of coins being mixed.  Roll Eyes

So let's hope this backfires on them and that they dug their own grave by doing this.  Tongue  The companies tracking these coins, might just have received a jackpot from these hackers bombarding a single mixer service with a lot of coins.  Grin
If what you said is how mixing worked then I don't there is any privacy in it and those hackers will definitely going to be apprehended. Chipmixer should also helped in exposing the hackers as this will help in reducing laundry of Bitcoin and funds as this is one of the major reasons why those with bright mind and those that want things to be done right refused to support cruptocurrency adoptions. As for those blaming chipmixer in doing the mixing, remember that the interest is to make everything Anonymous as possible.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Choosing a Bounty Campaign? on: August 12, 2019, 04:36:27 AM
Someone told me that joining a bounty campaign would provide you some income, well I agree with that because if you're going to take a look at the users in the forum the one with the largest number of traffic is in the bounty section.

I've been here in a while and noticed that some people are joining a scam campaign and some are earning good in some certain campaigns my question is that how do bounty hunters like you chose legit or profitable bounty campaigns?

Is it?

• Through Manager
• Projects Concept/Whitepaper
• Bounty Presentation
• Etc.

I have participated in many bounty campaign on both this forum wearing the signature and avatars, Twitter and Facebook, telegram and Reddit and one the that I have found out is that it is the manager that really matter. We have  respected manager like yahoo62278 that has promoted good projects here. Some of them like jibrel network paid in bitcoin and those that paid in there tokens like mb8 that was of recently launched in coinexchange has given great return to the bounty participants
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Bears Are Taking Over on: August 09, 2019, 04:36:53 AM
The halving, is it a blessing or curse? In my mind i was thinking that litecoin is going to cross $150 after three days from the halving! Maybe we are too early and the effect from the halving maybe from next month or by the ending of this month. I rather stay with bitcoin now as it is the only one showing the sign of bullishness now.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 08, 2019, 03:45:31 PM
Such is life, we win some and lose some. You just have to learn from your mistakes and move on. There is still brighter opportunities ahead, you never know what the future holds for you. So far as we have health and life, just remain focus and you can  win big time although you have lost big time now.
This is a very nice motivational write-up and hope op is still around to read this! We all makes mistake and mistakes are also very valuable because it is through it that nature past instructions into our life. Many people bought bitcoin when it was above $10,000 in January 2018, and Bitcoin went down to $3,200 and because of experienced they were still holding with the hope that it is going to recover and it has recovered. @op should learned from this great mistake and move on with life.
110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 08, 2019, 07:12:04 AM
Hye, please don't think it is an investment advice, but as a short term trader, I am just asking from you based on your own market research that as whenever BTC flies to moon, Altcoins dump. So based on your speculation in the current market scenario in which Altcoin we should trade ? for good profits ? LTC, BCH, BSV or whatever you think could be the best in usdt market ?
I will not advise you to flip bitcoin to any coins now because it is few of them that can give you return than bitcoin in the short term. Before when bitcoin is pumping we do see other coins pumping too and vice-versa but now things have changed and we are having almost 90% of the funds that come outside cryptocurrency into Bitcoin. Bitcoin dominant against other coins has also increased and it is very clear that this dominant is going to last very long. If I will buy any coin now I will only buy mb8.
111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks $12,000 Before Plunging, Crypto Markets Turn Downward on: August 08, 2019, 05:48:45 AM
The Bitcoin price is currently down 0.67% on the day, trading at $11,673, according to Coin360. Looking at its weekly chart, the coin is up by about 17.27%.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-breaks-12-000-before-plunging-crypto-markets-turn-downward
Bitcoin unged downwards after hitting around $12,200 at coinbase.  The four hours charts were showing overbought and as a technical analysis trader, I have to sell off my trade at poloniex because the market would not have gone up more than that because of the technical setting. Bitcoin has been finding it very difficult to remain above $12,000 since it hit $3880 early July and that is because the volume can not sustain the price at that level.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving , what to expect? on: August 07, 2019, 06:57:12 PM
buy the rumors sell the news,
I think after the halving we are going to see a sharp drop at the price. And then we are going to see a correction and the consolidation. This could also trigger the global altcoin sell which will increase BTC dominance more.
What you said is really what is happening now. It is the reason why I completely depends on technical indicators whenever I have decided to invest into a coins! Litecoin halving has had it infect on the market before it  happens and since the day before yesterday we have been seeing it moving below $100. I was thinking that it should pump but it has remained within the prediction of the technical indicators.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 07, 2019, 04:51:07 PM
Please before you contribute to this thread, do understand Bitcoin and blockchain are two different things don't mistake the benefits of one to the other. Bitcoin needs a blockchain to function but the blockchain don't need bitcoin (no disrespect). Try to stay on topic so i can get some key points to strengthen my debate if there'll be a need for one in the near future as the awareness of the technology is increasing rapidly (yearly) in the country. Considering bitcoin is just another currency, what can it offer that my local currency can't to improve the economy of the nation? Already done some research and understood the benefits of blockchain to a country's economy but I'm yet to understand that of bitcoin. Enlighten me please.
Naira lost it really value when Nigeria economic went into recession within 2015 and ending of last year and it just recovering and as such Nigeria needs a financial system that do not depend on dollars. As far as naira is page against dollars it is difficult for the economy to recover fully as it has happened to many African countries. Bitcoins is decentralized and Nigeria be the largest and the most popular Africa countries can adopt bitcoin into her financial system and if that is done their can embark on mining the remaining Bitcoin which will bring undepend on oil for sometime.
Before the corrupt politicians know and learned anything about it, good Nigeria that know about this technology and Bitcoin will be able to restore the country on the part of prosperity.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alternative view: There is no bull market. Bitcoin will go down. on: August 07, 2019, 02:39:23 PM
Hello guys,

I am aware of the '4 year cycle' and that nearly everybody here believes bitcoin is long term bullish. I am not saying I totally disagree with that, but I do think other options are also possible and should be discussed!

When looking at the charts, it's pretty obvious that we are in a downtrend since more than one month:
https://i.ibb.co/bgbbBf1/07-08-2019-2.png

Even at the bigger timeframe, it doesn't look like bitcoin is going to the moon:
https://i.ibb.co/sHC8Cd7/07-08-2019-3.png

Could it be that the 2018 all time high kind of 'saturated' the bitcoin market so that most people that are interested in btc already know of it (and bought in if they wanted to do so), thus future highs will never reach the same price again? In the previous (before 2018) bull markets, it was always far from saturation meaning only some people (more every cycle) knew about bitcoin. But in 2018 literally everyone that reads news learned about bitcoin (and invested if he believed in it). So, now we simply lack investors that could push the price up.

What do you think? Bullshit theory? Could it be true?

In any way, I think it will soon show whether the recent uptrend or the downtrend will be stronger:
https://i.ibb.co/Qbfbx9F/07-08-2019.png
I think whether the price will then go up or down will be decisive for the BTC price trend for at least a week.
When bitcoin rise from below $3150 to $5000 in April 2019, it is a clear indication that the bearish trend that commenced in January 2018 has ended and Bitcoin has resumed the bullish trend. I see all the long term indicators showing a sign of the beginning of a new bullish trend that will lead bitcoin to $100,000 or above and that might happen very soon. I have decided to keep holding and I strongly disagree with your views that bitcoin is in a downward trend. I don't think the correction is a change of trend directions!
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Tomorrow ask your boss if you can be paid in bitcoin. on: August 07, 2019, 09:30:15 AM
Then ask your grocery store to accept it.

I`m serious, if you want to become non $laves.
We would soon be free from this slavery called "fiat"!  We just need to keep promoting bitcoin to our employers or employees, mechanic, institutions, schools, restaurants, churches or mosques and hotels. I will rather be in control of my funds and in bitcoin than keeping them in the bank and if I have the ways I will rather buying in bitcoin that fiat currency. since I read the story online how our governments do manipulate the fiats to favor the rich, I have been having miss feelings about faits and the fraudulent financial system.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What does the future holds for crypto? on: August 07, 2019, 08:12:51 AM
Just like internet has made the world, global village, we should expect cryptocurrency to represent our financial and money market in future! We are now more in adoptions and mainstream than when it began. Bitcoin started from a very humble backgrounds with few people haveing interest in it but things has changed, currently there is no country that is not study bitcoin in one way or the other and we can see that throughout the Internet. World leaders and those that has be able to called bitcoin bad name before are now charging their mouths, most of them are now studying it.
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real market manipulation on: August 07, 2019, 07:46:28 AM
Have you witnessed price manipulation in action?
It's no myth...
And if you're not careful, you could get caught with your pants down.

Giants in the playground, practiced in the art of weaponizing their wealth.
Throwing around more money than most can imagine.

The first time I watched this in real time, I had no idea what was happening.

Unbelievably massive orders were getting placed... removed… and then replaced instantly.
Trades were executing so fast there was no way I could keep up with what was happening.
Price swinging up and down wildly.

It seemed so chaotic... disorganized.
In reality the opposite was true - it was exactly as designed.

Each part of that situation was beautifully choreographed, like a violent ballet.
Every action deliberate in its goal to get an emotional response.

And it works.
Of course it works, they wouldn't do it otherwise.
It is highly illegal, after all.

Not understanding what was happening in that situation was dangerous.
This time the goal emotional response was FOMO - the Fear Of Missing Out.
The market manipulator was encouraging that emotion so that other traders would buy.

But this wasn't because the giant wanted the price to go up...
Instead... They were selling their bags and getting out.
Once they sold what they wanted to get rid off, they stopped holding the price up…

It crashed - fast.
All those people who bought emotionally... Staring at big losses.

Have you ever been caught holding the bag?

Manipulation of this type exist in all markets including stocks and forex and that is why I agree with this saying that "The rich and those with huge capital markets more profits than loses " because they can turn the loses to profits through manipulation like the one you have given. The wise thing is to know when this manipulation is going on and when really traders are taking investments decision and invest on both sides by staying in the same directions.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC movement after today flash crash on: August 07, 2019, 06:34:28 AM
Hello,

what do you think after today flash crash of BTC from 12300 to 11600. Will it get back on bull trend and get over 12k again or will it slowly fall back to 10k?

I am really tired of these crashes. It is not first time I went from profit to huge minus just in few minutes. I cant understand how this can happen.

S.

It might fall back to test $10800 before resuming its uptrend again. The pump to $12,300 is not sustainable because it is not backed up by equivalent volume. The movers of the trend were purely day traders and you know it is always very hard for them not to take little profits and pushed price downward in other to be able to rebuy again. Bitcoin will grow back but that is when the whales and investors are assured that it will not get dumped and pumped every days.
119  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by 1xbet | 9000$ scam 1xbet is a scam on: August 07, 2019, 06:10:12 AM
Why people recommend regulations for cryptocurrency and all its business activity is because of this type of open scamming! I will advise any one that can help this India guy to recover his money to do so as life will reward you. We are now having more cryptocurrency’s gambling scamming now than before as those ico’s scammers has shifted they fraudulent activities to gambling. Very sad but I will encourage op to keep on looking for a way of get his funds.
120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Am I in a Scam? on: August 06, 2019, 05:02:54 PM
Hello, I've been approached by a FOREX trader and Bitcoin Miner on Instagram. They've told me to setup an account on a website www.aquilaoption.com. I've invested a sum and they are asking for more to invest in. No trading activities has been done, but with a lack of a phone call to discuss this and continuing to dodge the idea of a phone call, I feel as though I am in a scam. But I want to get this SOB, can anyone on here validate the website with past experiences or if it is real? I am new to this and wanted to invest my hard earned money, but I feel as though I will never get it back again and feel really stupid.  Embarrassed
High yield investments are not always looking scam from the beginning but at the end or in the middle it always ends in those ways. The story and the mode of investments you have shared look like a scam to me and I have experienced several of this type of tricks before. You will keep investing until you will not hear anything from them again. I could vividly remember how I invest in a trading system and I put then $300. The following days after making this invest I was told that "I will not make any profits unless I increased my capital to $500"! That is when my eyes clear and I became aware that I am investing in scam projects.
