Bitcoin Numbers Growing In Pakistan

The more we discuses bitcoin and understand the possibilities it brings forth for Pakistan the more converts we have. This is now showing in trading volumes across different mediums of trade.  If we just check the localbitcoins volumes during last few weeks we see upward movement this not only true in Pakistan but through out the world. The increase in volume has also resulted in increase in numbers of users. As we see more localbitcoin traders poping up on localbitcoin and facebook almost daily.

Bitcoin is not dead - it's making new highs

Bitcoin has been pronounced dead almost 100 times by news outlet after news outlet. Year after year, we find articles from notable news outlets such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, Forbes, and even a former bitcoin developer concluding that bitcoin is dead and that it is time to move on. Yet it's still here.

Decentralize Bitcoin again: bigger blocks and a new dynamic PoW

First, I ignored the block-size debate. It was always clear to me that we needed bigger blocks and the one MB limit is purely artificial. Historically, the block-size limit was introduced to make it impossible to spam-attack the network while bitcoins were cheap. Satoshi himself had no block-size limit. He was talking about ‘100 million transactions per day’, which clearly need more space than one MB.

21 Inc Launches Bitcoin Micropayments Marketplace for Developers

Bitcoin startup 21 Inc has launched the 21 Micropayments Marketplace, a new offering that enables the creation of apps that allow buyers and sellers to trade digital goods for bitcoin.

Initially, the 21.co Micropayments Marketplace will focus on allowing developers to buy and sell API calls using digital currency due to what it called existing developer pain points in the process today that inhibit a global market for such creations.

Bank Regulator Wades Into Fintech

For the first time, the OCC is dealing with a request for a new bank charter from a virtual-currency firm, which has presented “novel issues,” Ms. Friend said, particularly because one hasn’t been issued in the years since the financial crisis. She didn’t name the firm.

Aaaahh that video is so great! Cheesy
Asking each other what the @ means and internet in general is.

guy: What is internet anyway?
left chick: Internet is that massive computer network. The one that's becoming really big now.
guy: What do you mean? How does it...?What?Do you write to it like mail?
left chick: No a lot of people use it and communicate with nbc, writer and producers?? Allison do you know what internet is?

I just love it. This is almost the same we are going through with Bitcoin and crypto currencies right now. Cheesy

back then, people were uncomfortable when they said "@" or "e-mail". today they are uncomfotable when they say "Bitcoin" or "the Blockchain". People will know these words in the future.

Why am I a part of Bitcoin ?

I am a part of Coinsecure. I work as the Chief Business Development Officer at Coinsecure. A part of my job is to sell bitcoin, though not like you sell bananas or strawberries. But everyday in my job I convince people to try bitcoin and fall in love with it eventually.
