1001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No Bounty For Newbies .. A new war on: October 27, 2019, 04:41:48 AM
This a common mistake by both managers and bounty participants. Some managers will tell something like "they have the rights to change rules anytime" we cant do anything about it. If youre a newbie better not join a campaign like that or else you will waste your time. But some managers are aggressive too they only change rules at the end of the canpaign which is unforgivable, they want to only use you for promotion for free. So you better rank up and do good stuff in the forum.
Anyways theymos is having an ART contest he is giving some merits to your genuine creations, no matter how it looks as long as youve done it yourself.

1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Serious Bitcoin Security Warning!!! on: October 24, 2019, 08:33:04 AM
Here's another privacy issue and extra-carefulness is always needed!
There are a lot of people who use QR codes to share different data (also to share bitcoin or other cryptos) from their smartphones and the article below states the risks of using QR codes.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/09/12/researchers-have-issued-a-serious-bitcoin-qr-code-warning/#3254ef2c6d12
This is not about bitcoin security, It is a user's responsibility to be careful not to use some random QR code generator from 3rd party and suspicious websites. In fact, Almost all bitcoin wallets have built-in QR code generator why use these untrusted generators? This article news does not make sense and has nothing to do with bitcoin security.
1003  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Fake Brave Bounty Program Giving 1,500 BAT Tokens to each participant! on: October 22, 2019, 02:35:27 PM
Thanks for posting it here, This is obviously a fake/phishing website but some newbies might be fool by them.  BAT using yahoo email is very suspicious in the first place. The only legit BAT airdrop is from brave browser and coinbase.

1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 21, 2019, 05:57:16 PM
Actually, I'm not joining any bounty campaign right now if you look on the bounty board there are still plenty of bounties, nonstop they are creating almost every day. But only a few success, few uniques projects, Few legit teams. Too many fake and copycat projects. It's our job to filter them by doing some background checks. Yes, there are some legit that still exist we just need to find but even legit projects now are failing.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius Network exit scam? on: October 21, 2019, 05:41:31 PM
It's quite unfortunate if its real scam another project scam may I know the details of this project? Website, Ann thread. etc. if you have some evidence you can create accusation thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Just one day ago Ivan on Tech made a review about Celsius Network here CRYPTO PASSIVE INCOME + FIAT LOANS 💥 Celsius Network Review. And some random guy popped out saying exit scam?
do not believe it until he has proven his claim otherwise it is just a joke on the weekend. Never heard anything bad about this project so far,
Yeah, you're right don't believe if there is no concrete evidence they might mislead something if found not real.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! THE MOST EXCITING NEWS TODAY !!! FOR YOU ??? on: October 21, 2019, 02:08:53 PM
Thats something new. I googled it and the only country that says where it is the Bermuda is a British island territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Is this the country?

The population is less than 100K according to wikipedia, it would appear this is an experiment for the cryptocurrency, I wonder how many in the 100k are crypto users actually.
Thanks for the additional info what a small country less than 100k people maybe you are right it is just an experiment. I'm excited about how this procedure will progress.

well that a good news, no wonder they choose USDC considering company behind that project its a Coinbase and Circle.
but the story will be different if they choose USDT  Grin
Yes, Probably because more people are having some doubts about USDT. Coinbase USDC is obviously better than USDT.  Recently, I don't know what Justin sun has been thinking he's creating some USDT tokens on Tron blockchain.
1007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Telegram Crypto Scammer Technique on: October 21, 2019, 01:47:37 PM
They don't hide their username they didn't create username instead they put someone's username into their bio. I think this is a duplicate thread there is already a thread about this matter. If you are interested you can read some replies there it was created just this October 11 read it here:

1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO projects with very good rating on: October 21, 2019, 01:27:03 PM
Personally I don't trust this rating site most of them are paid or have fake ratings. They usually hire some people to give them 5 stars and good reviews, of course, they will pay for that so the quality of these ratings is not accurate or false ratings. It always better to review and rate it for yourself. I usually look for team profiles if not fake, project uniqueness, real partnerships. etc.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: October 21, 2019, 01:12:03 PM
I often do this thing betting against the majority can bring us more winnings or profits if lucky. There is a bigger chance to lose but it is exciting  Grin
even with small odds. But if I calculate I think I have more loss than winning in doing this kind of strategy lol.
But it is fun when you won it feels satisfying.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 21, 2019, 10:47:25 AM
Actually it's happening now my phone functions like a bank I use a local wallet to buy and pay in malls. But there is a disadvantage in malls the mobile network signal is very slow sometimes causing a delay especially in a very close area. But it is not a bitcoin wallet I hope soon we will have that option in our country I've seen some video from japan paying in stores using bitcoin is quite amazing and inspiring.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Believe ShapeShift's Trap. There is No Cheap Hardware Wallet! on: October 21, 2019, 09:56:50 AM
I think that shipping fee is not the same for all I think it depends on location. If you are near the store location probably you will get cheaper shipping fees.
It's unfortunate the fees are bigger than the product price I guess shapeshift has done nothing wrong but if they say on the ads that it has free shipping that's absolutely a trap.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 21, 2019, 09:30:58 AM
If you're going to join sports betting to get better chances you need to know the team's background, their past performance you need to be updated on everything, whose team is good or much better. Like for an instance, we have NBA finals the team is Lakers VS Warriors for example and they are pretty even. The hometown is Lakers I'm going to bet on lakers I'm going to grab that little crowd advantage but in a game everything can happen or mess up it is still unpredictable.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly City on: October 21, 2019, 09:10:02 AM
Wow, I didn't know bitcoin if well-known in these cities, Last 2017 I found some videos on Japan too. I guess bitcoin is famous there I found plenty of videos from Vloggers going into the store paying with bitcoin and the transaction is quite fast. Here is a sample video its amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV8PW3IQOp4
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 20, 2019, 11:56:46 PM
Bitcoin has that potential from the start, no need to ban it to increase its demands and price. Cryptocurrency adoption will put bitcoin into that price. We are slowly reaching new ath. If you look back from history about 3 years or more new ath has been reach and we are slowly getting there.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 20, 2019, 11:43:41 PM
Due to some regulation they need to require it to customers, because there are some countries that are not allowed to participates, this also prevents some bots and fraud so KYC is important with IEO.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: October 20, 2019, 08:09:39 PM
Even old wallets I don't trust some of it especially when you don't have control over your private keys they are not transparent maybe they can steal our funds in the future and declare that they been hacked or similar very risky. The best wallets still the hardware wallets like Ledger or trezor but you need to keep it in a safe place of course.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 20, 2019, 07:39:22 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
I think I am a  victim of a big possible scam recently they are a paying project with live transactions that's why I join, Some scammers might gamble this deep just to attract people. There is too much scam accusation about them. And I found it suspicious, Deleting Ann thread. etc. Still not revealing CEO and team member's social media they are like anonymous. I think 90 % of bounties now here on bitcointalk are not good the result is either fail or scam. To counter it we need to be careful and DYOR about them also find some scam accusation too.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 20, 2019, 07:14:33 PM
I think using bitcoin to bet on the offline casino is not that good. It will delay the process, what if there is network clogged and every time you bet there is transaction fee very hassle or I am thinking the other way?  Grin Maybe we can use it to buy or exchange it for some chips instead?
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 20, 2019, 06:58:53 PM
Very inspiring story congratulations to you, satoshi creation can really change someone's lives or everyone. I am not earning that much in bitcoin but I can buy things for myself, pay bills. etc. Last 2017 was my biggest earnings here in bitcointalk with bitcoin when the price reaches $19k.  Everything was green I got greedy I wish I convert all my earning into a stable coin but still, I'm blessed being here on bitcointalk where everything started.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 20, 2019, 06:41:27 PM
Just a common mistake I have done it too but I'm not borrowing and play it on gambling it is too risky. Play only if you have extra money well, lesson learned. Take it as an experience and move on. Sometimes greediness gets the best of us if we lose sometimes we double the bets hoping to get back what we lose and it ends up losing everything. Gambling needs some luck too.
