1001  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance app on: August 27, 2020, 12:28:15 PM
I started to use Binance app not a long time ago, and I have noticed that the app is logging me out and asking me to type my email, password, and 2FA from time to time. I haven't cleared the cache/data nor do I use "cleaner apps" so not sure what is causing this. Has anyone faced a similar issue?
It is common with most of the exchange apps as well but the time frame with Binance app could be less than others. And seriously I don't like to use their app because its not completely optimized and can make errors while creating trade orders so I just prefer bigger screen whenever I am entering into exchanges.

^I like that idea too, experienced cricketers vs fit and form players but its highly impossible to happen in reality. Yuvraj is one of the legend and took the Indian cricket to the next level in 2000's by his fielding and stroke makings and his contribution in 2011 world cup is something unimagineable, he played with cancer and also blood vomit in a match just because he wanted the team to win and hope/dream of billions from India...
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korean Exchange Coinbit Arrested For Fake Volume on: August 27, 2020, 06:42:31 AM
IMO, most of the exchanges do that but the regulation differs upon countries so many exchanges are not getting any actions for their fake volumes, it is a good news for the trading community but they can move their exchange to other country where regulations are more relaxed and can keep doing it.

I guess BCCI might be trying to avoid the chaos considering the present pandemic situation. Also they need to first take permission from the local authorities in order to conduct a match out of their regular schedule. It would be nice if they are able to do something to honor the legend.

I don't think that getting permission from the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) is a big deal, considering their good relationship with the BCCI. I would say that this is the ideal opportunity to conduct such a match, since almost all the star players will be in UAE at this time. Scheduling a match at a later period may not be feasible due to the ongoing pandemic situation.
Even ICC posted tribute video for MSD but I don't see anything from BCCI so they are not much interested about anything other than the revenue from IPL.Even if there is no farewell match for him everyone know he is legendary player and comes from nowhere and still holds the record of winning captain of all the trophies from ICC and still no other captain got it.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 26, 2020, 05:10:06 PM
Staking can be considered as a bubble because your funds will not be accessible in that mean while the whales can dump all the tokens and gets the value of shit coins into ero so never stake shit coins no matter how much returns they are giving.Investing on casino bankroll is the legitimate idea but you can't consider it as passive because they are not going to pay you dividends for investing.

Its simply based on the success of the casinos.

Here is the white paper describing the development plan
https://studentcoin.org/white paper

Honestly I hate shit scam that is meant only to hype and I think STC is not one of them
What is the difference of this coin? Why we need to invest because this is also another shit coin and not going to make any changes in the crypto industry other than looking to make some profits for them.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: August 26, 2020, 08:27:38 AM
COVID-19 has a negative effect on the global economy, a new breakthrough in the economic sector is needed to help the current crisis.
One of them is by adopting economic decentralization, because it is proven that Bitcoin has helped the world economy today. Even though
it is still on a small scale, the government should be more realistic thinking that legalizing Bitcoin is a positive step must be taken now.
The whole crypto market didn't played any role in the development of the world economy because the total marketcap is very less compared to the other traditional assets like stocks.gold and forex but it helped the traditional investors to realize the importance of decentralized asset/currency because those traditional assets are highly manipulated and profit making opportunities are also getting lesser there.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 25, 2020, 04:33:14 PM
Bitcoin helped me to realize the importance of decentralization, before entering into crypto market I had no idea about these things but now can consider myself as an amateur in economy and financial related things.Especially bitcoin helped me to liquidate funds in no times which takes a lot of time if I want to liquidate gold or stocks.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Some are hungry, some are losing their homes - some are doubling their wealth on: August 25, 2020, 02:11:11 PM
Since that is capitalism, everyone lives for their individual lives. That's why businesses are like that, the government can't do anything to them. Although a third of the US population is a working citizen of these rich people, I do not feel inequality here. Why do we all want wealth to be distributed evenly when they were people who rose from nothing? They work hard to achieve that achievement and they will certainly take responsibility for their career.
It is very absurd to share assets to balance the society. If that money goes into the hands of the playboy, it is definitely a waste. So let the leaders make America even better.

That's the self-made man fallacy. All these people didn't make themselves from nothing. For starters they have educated parents, some of them wealthy, that means they could all go to good universities. In the US universities are expensive, why ? There is no good reason for this.

I'm not saying they have no merit, and don't deserve to be rich. Nobody is talking about "distributing wealth evenly", that doesn't even make sense. We're talking about more redistribution, in the form of cheap/free healthcare and education, for example.
Governments are here for helping the rich individuals because they are bringing more revenue to the government and the life of this world is so unfair so if someone wants to become rich then they have to outsmart the existing people which is not really too hard to be honest. Most of the billionaires had the capital to invest money on something and made their company into one of the world's bigger but the system keep the people to not to have much money on their hands to do such things.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: August 25, 2020, 12:58:51 PM
Just wondering how they earn money? I mean are they lose their money from they got win in the gambling as well? Or they just spend money from they earn in their job?

I don't know what will I do if I lose huge money in gambling. Maybe I'll just fine if I lose the money because I always win my gambling before and I collected it. But, if I lose the money from my real job then I'll be insane at the end.

You cannot earn millions of dollars from your job. These people either got the money by gambling, cheating or borrowed the money. The guy that got cancer Watanabe is a clear example of how bad gambling can be for your health if you are not prepared for the consequences and only take into account that only good things will happen to you.
So how millionaires were formed? By cheating? There are few jobs which pays in millions but those are rare like CEO of prime companies like Google. All other people who become millionaires are through business or through investments rarely people become millionaire from gambling rewards.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: August 25, 2020, 11:07:59 AM
As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?
Bitcoin =  decentralized

Ripple = centralized

SO ripple can never become a bitcoin in terms of usage and if you are talking about the price, you will know how much the ripple is going to worth at the end of next market cycle.I expect it would goes to zero. Tongue
1012  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i speed up eth transaction from other wallet? on: August 25, 2020, 09:19:12 AM
If this possible to speed up one transaction using other wallet with metamask etc ?
To speed up the transaction you should increase the gas fee from the same address where you initiated the transaction, maybe you can import the existing wallet to new and do the gas fee procedure but it is not make any difference from doing this same on your existing wallet.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 24, 2020, 10:07:45 PM
Conducting a cricket match in India is highly not possible at the moment due to covid, that is why they moved their IPL to UAE so I don't think there will be any match/series for MSD retirement and also MSD doesn't want it that is why he announced his retirement silent unexpected way, via old movie song with all his cricket memories.
I still could not fully understand why the IPL is moved to UAE as the matches are taking place without any audience and it can be conducted in India without any audience as well if there is a support from the state government. What i assume is that they are playing in a neutral country so that no one is having any home advantage and if they conduct inside India the travel restrictions might be the issue.
If the BCCI can request the permission to conduct a series for MSD then i do not think that the government will not reject that offer and moreover the PM already sent a note to congratulate MSD and Raina and i think they will bend these restrictions for a match.

AFAIK, international airways are not fully operational yet on most of the countries and in India they didn't allow any foreigners that might be the reason why BCCI is not interested to take such huge risks to make the players to play on a country where number of cases are huge in numbers. And about the farewell series I think it is unnecessary to conduct at this time because lot of man power needed to conduct a single match so better no need to have one in my opinion.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be best a new altcoin pegged to fiat money or to precious metals? on: August 23, 2020, 03:30:04 PM
If you want to create an altcoin which is pegged to fiat, we already have that and we don't need to have so many of the same thing. In fact, if we are to think of it a little deeper, we don't have to create an altcoin if the goal is just to copy fiat in digital form. We might as well just use fiat. After all, we already have all kinds of electronic payments using fiat.

As far as altcoin pegged on precious metals are concerned, the price of precious metals are also fluctuating. What I know we have are altcoins supported by real gold. I don't know of any altcoin which is pegged on silver or diamond or titanium.
Those ideas are not new and already many projects were failed with this prototype then why someone want to create a project backed by fiat or metals, anyway why they have to? It is also not going to work perfectly due to scalability and trust issue.

But it is also not new in the world of cryptocurrency that a project is launched with almost every part of it copy-pasted from another existing project. But the worse part is that these copycats are proud enough to market them, raise money through ICO or IEO, and promote them as if they have anything new to contribute to the development of cryptocurrency. And the worst part of all is that there are still people who fall for these tricks.

Quote
And also it is not going to bring profits or returns to the investor because the value of the fiat is going to be stable.

To be fair to stablecoin projects, they are not offering themselves as investment opportunities or speculative assets. They are designed for payments.
Number of people who really invest on these projects are less, the project itself giving fake numbers to make the investors to have believe on such projects that is why complete random newbie gets attracted to such projects and losing their money.

Until now the stable coins are mostly used for trading activities and tether is continuously printing money to give enough liquidity for the traders but if there is not enough reach fiat backed then it won't last long.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 23, 2020, 09:55:42 AM
I doubt these numbers are true, as per the report of May almost 10% of US population lost their jobs which means 30+ millions people are jobless due to this corona virus. And yes this is really worrying sign but the stimulus has been a little relief for those people but for in long term there will be crisis in the growth and this is going to reflect in the upcoming presidental election in US.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 23, 2020, 05:49:45 AM
CSK is backed by very strong financial group so they can afford to have some very talented cricketers in their coaching staff and about MSD its really very early to talk about him as what he want to do in future its completely his own decesion and he is better to talk about this I am feeling like Ganguly he must join as administrative job its good for BCCI as well he is quality leader.
I doubt he will involve in any of BCCI related jobs in the future, he has lot more opportunities in other fields and also his loves towards bikes is extreme so I guess he is going to do some kind of business related to that in future especially investments as well.

In IPL there is some kind of allocation system is there but not sure is this applicable for staff member salaries and possible he may join with Flemmings to guide future CSK's team.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 22, 2020, 05:43:43 PM
and surely he is also going to retire from CSK soon and take as role of coach.
I don't think he is going to retire as the CSK captain anytime soon. He probably will play for the next 2 editions and then retire in my opinion. If he wanted to retire quickly from all forms of Cricket, he would have done so last year itself after the World Cup loss.

However, he didn't do that which means that he still has some juice left in his tank. This is why IPL is special in so many ways to fans and cricketers.

After this IPL I am sure he will retires from IPL too and I do not think he will get into coaching so soon. He has got a lot of time to think what he wants to do next. I am sure he will remain associated with cricket and would do something related to the sports.

I don’t know why you’ll think that Ms Dhoni will retire post this IPL edition, because IPL only happens only once in an year, hence I believe that he can easily keep on playing for many more year’s until his body gives up. Furthermore CSK would prefer to keep him for as long as they can because of his commercial value, and lastly I’ll be really sad when he officially retires from IPL.

https://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/ms-dhoni-will-play-for-chennai-super-kings-probably-till-2022-csk-ceo-kasi-viswanathan-2278253
CSK didn't bothered to play with veteran members because in the past most of the veterans like Hayden,Mike Hussey played for CSK and also CSK has been trolled for having more olderer players than other franchise but they showed what experience can do in all the editions. I would love to see him as well but MSD is kind of person who gives opportunities for younger generation so he might give his spot in the next edition as well.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW transaction stuck for two days on: August 22, 2020, 04:18:46 PM
Anyone have the same problem?

I used quite high gas, and the transaction is stuck for 40 hrs. The transaction was for the full amount of wallet (125ETH) so I cant do the traditional send 0 ETH as there is no gas left. Will the transaction eventually stop?
Almost everyone have this problem due to the congested network. How much gas fee you had used for such a big transaction of 125 ethereum? AFAIK, current recommended gas fee is about 300 which you may not aware of it.

It may take months for the transaction to get cancelled so better refill your wallet and increase the fee for faster confirmation.

1020  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 22, 2020, 09:17:36 AM
Trump will never end this battle against China  as long as he is the US president while the effect is already obvious towards their economy.

Accusing tiktok and wechat as a surveillance apparatus of china to the whole world.(this is what i have watched in news)

What about US having eye  to the world?
It's obvious that he doesn't care about that, even if we accept the premise that those two applications are surveilling people Trump is not doing this because of that, as we know he is engaged in a personal war against China and he is going to take any excuse to try to keep reminding people of this, so this is not about the right of privacy of their citizens this is nothing more but a political move done by the US president.

If he really cared about the privacy of his citizens then other measures should follow and social networks like Facebook and Twitter must change their policies or face the same consequences, but we need to be honest with ourselves that is never going to happen.
Political matter or not but i do see such decision was just really right but we cant really deny the fact that they can do all things that they want.If they want to impose ban then they can do it without minding on what
would be the possible industries or sectors would be mainly affected.

Sooner or later there would be such changes about those Bans just like on what happened with Huawie trade ban and this one about Tiktok and wechat. There are no other ways to change this stuff
as long the president itself wont lift such decision.

Personal war? High chances.
But this is only temporarily ban on them right, not even the app got banned meanwhile, what happened with Microsoft buying tiktok?

Is there any update related to that?
