1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: April 29, 2022, 08:30:41 PM
I’ve been working on a trading bot for the better part of six months. It uses a five min timeframe to make decisions. Do most intra-day traders use such a short time frame as well? Has anyone had any luck with a custom timeframe like 7 mins?
I have rarely seen any person using time frame of 7 mins or any unusual time frame, the concept of using a time frame which is used by a lot of people is that you are seeing what a lot of people are seeing which means if there is a breakout and a lot of people see that breakout and buy you can be part of that crowd as well, it just about getting other confirmation using signals to ensure that it is actually a breakout, on a 7 min chart you would see a breakout which nobody else is seeing or buying so I am not very sure whether it will be profitable or not.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: April 29, 2022, 08:13:49 PM
Not sure what's happening tonight  Huh

Both team are competing to lose the match, at least they are trying their best "not to win" similar to last night. First Lucknow saw a comical collapse after excellent start now Poonjab also doing harakiri in this straight forward chase.
Lol. Expected Punjab to win and was wrong again. The worst part is that Lucknow actually beat Punjab comfortably even though the target was just par which goes to show how badly Punjab performed with the bat.

Chameera's contribution towards the end helped Lucknow win by a decent margin. Both Gujarat and Lucknow are performing really well in their first season.
Punjab despite having all big hitters is being too inconsistent with the bat, their batting order has been anchored either by Dhawan or by livingston except these two rest all of them have failed to put up a show. The worst deal was Shahrukh Khan purchased at such a high price but has performed really bad and eventually had to be dropped. Bairstow which I thought would be something like what Buttler is for RR has barely scored in any innings. So once again like every year Punjab is not able to find it's balance, but yes on that contrary this time there bowling has been better if you leave that one match against GT. But they definitely don't look like a team which could go into playoffs.
1003  Local / India / Re: 30% TAX and 1% TDS applicable dates on: April 29, 2022, 08:09:57 PM
Tax start now 1 April 2022 but not any guidelines for that
What guidelines are you talking about? Government has already clarified the sections that it will be charged under and the method of calculation was also mentioned in the bill itself. You won't get any deduction except from cost of acquisition from the sale value. Only clarity which is left is on the TDS part that how will exchanges deduct TDS what will be the amount on which TDS will be deducted and after deducting so much TDS will it be even fruitful for government as eventually most of it will get refunded because tax is 30% on profit but tds is 1% on sale.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance blocks crypto accounts of relatives tied to the Russian government on: April 29, 2022, 08:05:43 PM
Yes, You read that right. Binance has taken their bans against Russian people up a notch. Which is quite clever on one side and on the other, quite unfair. Imagine being on a different country miles away from Russia but having relatives there and you suddenly see that your account has just been banned from binance. That'd be pretty infuriating.

I really can't decide myself whether this action is proper or not.

For people out there though that get to read this post and may get affected by this, I advise that you start taking precautions and transfer to a different exchange.

Anyway, what do you guys think about this?

News link: https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-blocks-crypto-accounts-of-relatives-tied-to-the-russian-government
Are you sure this is true? Last I remember was Binance clearly stating that they won't ban any accounts of people from Russia. Now It's surprising and also ironic that accounts of relatives of Russian officials is being banned. I think there is no way you can trust these exchanges with your money, like I would obviously never want my exchange blocking my account because my distant relative did something. This is just too wierd, forget about being fair i feel it's stupid.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 29, 2022, 04:51:28 PM
Hey Guys, talking about my Title above and talking about Bitcoin. Basically Bitcoin is the only coin that is in great demand by people who plunge into the world of Cryptocurrency, even very many people are looking for a way and looking for ways how they can get this Bitcoin, of whom there are those who do Mining, Trading maybe is also included, maybe Bitcoin investment is also included, here we all know about this Bitcoin price, in the past few months Bitcoin price ranged at $ 63k.

Talking back about my discussion above, in the past few days I saw Bitcoin is experiencing a continuous decline in value, what is the reason? and is this the beginning of its destruction? and do you think all Bitcoins will recover with a comeback?

Thank you <3
No matter how much a currency or asset is in demand it will always experience market movements which means there will be times when it will be in great bullishness and there will be times when it will be extremely bearish as well. These market movements actually are made artificially by market makers to make money in this market, imagine a coin which just goes up how will the bears make any money? And how will you actually take out money from weak hands, so all this is nothing but market maneuvers done in order to earn money.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: April 28, 2022, 07:09:48 PM
Still in recovering mode from last night drama. Gujrat keep finding new ways to win the match from bad situations, as Pandya said "With this pace they might ran out of luck soon".
How the hell do Gujarat keep winning these close encounters again and again? They have the luck of the devil to be honest. When Rashid was on strike in the final over, I was actually relieved since Tewatia wasn't on strike. Never expected him to bang three sixes in 3 balls at the end of the final over.

Tewatia really justifying his 9 crore price tag in this season. People do make fun of him most of times but he knows how to bat against the seamers.
He sure did justify his price tag, but the real star last night was Rashid. Also, Jansen is easily one of the worst bowlers in Cricket in my opinion.
I was so happy before the last over I chose SRH narrow and was almost sure will get 2 points, I became even more enthusiastic when saw Tewatia going on non strike end but then you see Rashid Khan swinging by the bat as if he is Jos Buttler.

Lucky times comes with the expiry date so let's see how long does it last for the Gujrat. Rashid also making habit of contributing with the bat, which is good sign for them.

Overall Jansen is not bad bowler, he's the same guy who got Faf and Virat's wicket on consecutive deliveries against RCB but he messed up yesterday and end up bowling his worst IPL over at the death, that's what pressure does to players.
I think the choice of deliveries was entirely wrong, especially the choice of the second last ball which went for six. Because he had already went for two sixes trying for Yorker but, beated Rashid when he went for a short Ball ending around Chest of Rashid, despite all this he still tried another Yorker which ended in full toss ending things for SRH, six on the last ball was slightly lucky he didn't middle it but that boundary was so short that he got a six.
1007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of using a cryptorobot on: April 28, 2022, 06:57:29 PM
Hi all  Smiley

Can you advise whether it is advisable to use a trading bot to trade cryptocurrency?
Such bots are sensitive to volatility, which often happens in the cryptocurrency world.
And how will the bot behave in a falling market?
I used one well-known bot for a month and it made 25% of my balance in a month.
And now I want to invest a lot more money in it.

Thanks
What I have seen from my experience is trading bots will always eventually run you into losses, especially the ones which are readymade available in the market, you will see them going well for a long time, and then suddenly you will see all your earnings getting wiped out in just one or two trades, this could be due to some bug in the code because these trading companies don't really put so much effort in getting the code audited from end to end. I have seen big companies making tons of money from cryptobots but they make money because they generally have their own trading bots which they get tailor-made from in-house coders only.
I do not think it is a bug, but rather the bots are coded that way, lets take for example the martingale system that is so popular among some gamblers, the martingale system can be attractive for some as it seems foolproof as you get your money back most of the time, but the more you play the higher the chances you eventually lose too many times and lose all your capital, does this sounds familiar? Because that is the way many bots trade, they use a system with a high accuracy and a money management strategy that gets more aggressive the more you lose, until you eventually lose too many trades in a row and then you lose everything as well.
Nice example of the martingale system. But I doubt one can code it, bots generally work on mathematics so if you have given it code to react in a particular way in particular condition it always will, so technically not can never be obeying that system, unless obviously the market itself behaves in such a way, but I think this thing can be solved by regularly updating code in your bot based on the changing dynamics of the market. But by the way we are here also not considering the probability of these bots actually being scam in the first place.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 28, 2022, 06:27:46 PM
Bear market what is might coming if fed really really decide to cut off big money dollars if they do so.
Then btc off course not moving and few top coins also will not move but this situation is not bad becouse each team will pump their own coins so we will see most of market stalled and 1-3 coins pumping its get urself in the team if you want to eat each team will pump their own coins.
Teams don't really have enought liquid funds to pump their own coins, even if I say that pumps are conspired they are only possible in very bullish conditions when bitcoin is running high because then the whale money and retail money also flows in that direction to aggregate the pump and actually make it successful otherwise alone it's difficult for any team to pump their coin in a bearish market because the moment a pump is orchestrated bitcoin falls a bit which brings that coin into a bearish direction as well. So it's difficult to have such a situation practically.
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 28, 2022, 06:24:15 PM
You will agree Elon has really inspired many people to bitcoin his pro or against bitcoin tweet directly reflect the red and green candles on bitcoin charts.

With owning this huge platform of Twitter he can either break it or make it. I think.

Let if adopts "doge" as some kind of default crypto currency for Twitter it will be huge move and might effect bitcoin bigtime.

Or let say if come to sense and realizes the truth and embrace bitcoin I can't imagine how huge the green candle will be.
Well to be honest i didn't imagine this wild a thought that he might make it possible to pay for Twitter in dogecoins but apparantly this might not be true, if he was to do that he will first do it with Tesla as well then will come to do it with Twitter, but yes if something like this happens Doge will become a utility coin suddenly from a mere meme coin so yes this is dangerous but quite difficult to happen at the same time.
1010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: April 24, 2022, 07:56:34 PM
First of all, wanna say hi to everybody.
I searching on the internet in the last 2 week 24/4 about crypto currency and how to multiply your money. I read article’s about people how can get rich, people who can get brokes and a lot of things about that, and to be honest, if it was possible to become rich after night, all people in the world will do that, so basically in my opinion it is lucky, or tips from billionaires who own some crypto etc.

I came there to get some advice from people who really know what crypto it is and how it works.
In the last months, I open an Coinbase account, and I saw that, the application pay me like 20 euro ( free coins) for opening an account. It was so nice. After like 1 month, the app do not give any free cryptocurrency.
My question for you guys it is, beside Coinbase, it is any other application like that, like give you free stuff or something ?

Ps, I think about what you think, a poor guy came there and try to get stuff free, go to work buddy. Ok, it is true, I searching for something free because I have a bad financial status,I was working as an mechanic and I was fire because service closed, and I searching for everything can came. I have 1 baby and I need to put food on the table when I get home Smiley so please, all hate stuff it is not accepted.

Thank you for your time guys, and I’m waiting your reply.
Dan,
There is absolutely no reasons why someone would pour hatred on such a post, generally everyone present in the crypto community have seen the bottom once in their life they know how valuable can these micro earnings become for you. But I'll give you some genuine advice as a friend, these small incomes aren't really going to help you put food on the table in 2022. Most of the exchanges would pay you such welcome bonus after you complete KYC and deposit some money, but this money will always be non-withdrawable, you can trade with this money to make more money but you can never directly withdraw the money, so technically this bonus is just to give you a lure of trading and get you started. Even many casinos give such things too. If you really want to put food on the table learn any skill in cryptos and help new projects by working for them in return for some salary. These bonuses won't help you go places.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: April 24, 2022, 07:50:41 PM
Lol. 2 consistent things this season are MI continue to lose and @JSRAW continues betting on them regardless of their losses. I have no idea why some people still have faith in this broken team who look like they might break the 11 losses in a row record.

(Try to be active in this thread translating for our russian ethnic friend @Royse777) Otherwise i'm going to shame you with tons of punjabi, marathi and tamil's curse words (learning).
Lol. I am one of the most active members in this thread. Looks like MI is screwing with your mind.
Haha, JSRAW isn't the only one betting on MI, I am one of them too, I felt that no team can lose consecutively 8 matches, I actually placed the bets based on the odds, I thought the odds of a team losing 8th consecutive match is pretty less so it's really an intelligent choice to bet on that very team. But MI is really nowhere a match this time to other teams, they are not even giving a tough competition to other teams.

I am too one of the most active ones in this thread  Grin But yes we definitely need more members to participate to increase engagement here.
1012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying now part of human nature? on: April 24, 2022, 07:46:13 PM
Telling a fib today is considered harmless and most people seem to lie so quickly and are very good at it too. We all know lying isn't good anyway it's being looked at but we all indulge in it and very frequently too. And today, it is considered harmless and a little white lie; almost innocent lol.
Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?
I don't think so we can ever do that, Lying is a very basic human activity, an activity which almost everyone does on daily basis in some form or the other. You said lying isn't good, I think this blanket statement is not really appropriate, lying can be at times best to calm down the situation, it might not be a permanent solution but can be a big temporary fix in multiple situations, but yes it does hampers the credibility of any human being, as normal it is for any human to lie, equally frustrating it is to hear a lie from someone, I don't know about everyone but I feel a very big dissatisfaction and frustration whenever someone lies to me, so even though telling lies is a part of normal human nature, listening to lies really isn't.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: April 24, 2022, 06:40:10 PM
This is an eye-opener really, and this actually brings out the problem with the new KYC norm that every exchange has these days, the data that the exchanges hold isn't secure at all, it is traded in the open market and is misused for sure, I remember there was a new project working on providing decentralized KYC, from where your data is stored in blockchain and can't really be misused by the exchange, but that project didn't really pick up great steam because exchanges didn't want to lose a great chunk of revenue which they get from selling data of users, but really there is a great market potential of such a project where data can be stored securely and cannot be misused.
1014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So Many Exchanges out there on: April 24, 2022, 06:36:15 PM
This is newbie talk, so don't kill me. I want to learn, but it seems so complicated.

I want to  - sell BTC for ETH, and then sell that ETH for more BTC than I started the trade with. Sounds like a simple way to start, yet I know it won't be.

My biggest concern is that there are so many exchanges. How the heck do I know which ones will pay me after I make an exchange? I know I have to check their reserve balance, but what else should I look for?

I am a bit confused here, are you confused about the credibility of the exchanges? You doubt that after you deposit your money on the exchanges they won't pay you back? If you are worried about this thing I would just make you slightly relieved that such things are rare, Atleast with the top 100 exchanges you won't really face this issue, they will always pay you back. Also checking reserve balance which I assume you are checking by searching the address of that exchange in bitcoin explorer isn't really a very smart idea, I mean even if there is reserve balance there is no guarantee that you would be paid after you make an exchange.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥 IPL Prediction Pool 2022 & Discussion(Participants Only) on: April 23, 2022, 09:29:10 PM
What a last over that was, Obviously that was a NO BALL, and it's okay as an umpire to miss that, but keeping that ego of not referring to the third umpire for this is absolute stupidity on the part of Umpire, we saw in the day before yesterday's game as well that the Umpires did go upstairs when they were unable to determine about the height, and when you have the technology you should definitely use it. Even though Rishab Pant was wrong, but that's a very normal reaction from anyone. I remember Dhoni stepped on the field in one such situation a few years back, if someone so calm & Experienced like him can do this, you can't expect Rishab Pant to stay cool.

That was gully cricket moment, only thing missing was  Rishabh Pant and Butler's fist fighting on boundary line. Grin

I felt that It was 50-50 call. After those 3 consecutive 6s Powell was in god mode and McCoy was in under pressure. At one point it looked like holy moly Powell is going to get 6 6s but this little drama broke his rhythm and DC lost the momentum.
haha Fist fight would have been entertaining to watch, I am surprised to see that even Shardul Thakur got fined 50% of match fees, I don't know for what Cheesy , my concern is that it's not about that it was 50-50 a call or what, why did the umpires on field were arrogant enough to not refer the decision to the third umpire, when the same thing happened in a match 2 days back, umpire did go to third umpire, there is a very high chance of human error by anyone on the field watching that ball at first glance, when you have the technology why to keep any doubts in your mind or in anybody's mind, just refer it to the third umpire and let him take the decision by seeing that ball 10 times from different angles.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: How did we all get here? on: April 23, 2022, 09:22:45 PM
Very Interesting statistics to be honest, But a very big question which comes to mind of every taxpayer is that is National Debt that big trouble for any country? Generally, the economists believe if the total expenditure going towards repayment of interest on such national debt doesn't exceeds 10-15% of the overall expenditure country is generally said to be pretty strong on it's debt, I am sure this number isn't that high in the US as well, all the repayments of old debt is obviously going to be by taking up new debts or issuing new bonds so only trouble for government to maintain the economy is the interest payments, so my question is that is national debt really that big a problem for any country until the expenditure on interest payments is under control?
1017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The trend is your friend if you know how to identify it)) on: April 23, 2022, 09:16:41 PM
How to determine the trend for bitcoin?

Share tools or your opinion on determining the turn for bitcoin.

The topic is interesting because correct knowledge of the Bitcoin trend will help predict the direction for 98% of altcoins according to my observations.
Trend can basically be divided into three types which is based on time frames, one is the long term trend which you can find out seeing either the monthly or weekly chart, then there is mid term trend which can be found on daily chart or 12h chart and then there is short term trend which can be found on 4h chart or 2h chart. But determining the trend in all the time frames is based on the same technique, which is going the pattern. To confirm an ascending trend, you'll have to find a series of higher highs and higher lows & for a descending trend find a series of lower higher and lower lows, anything which is not able to satisfy this condition is basically an unconfirmed sideways trend.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: April 23, 2022, 07:12:13 PM
Recently Indian Finance minister N.Sitharaman said Money laundering, terror financing biggest concerns around cryptocurrency...
What can be the remedial step to address this concern.

https://www.bgr.in/news/fm-nirmala-sitharaman-says-biggest-risk-of-crypto-is-laundering-terror-financing-1259977/

Aren't these illegal activities already happening when cryptos haven't even been brought into the system? Money laundering is an issue we are facing now for decades, even after hundreds of measures implemented by the government themselves these things are still happening, and trust me these things will continue to happen even if cryptos don't kick in, it's just lame excuses made by the government to discourage cryptos. If they are so concerned about money laundering or terror financing why aren't they straightaway banning cryptos? why are they taxing it at 30% and earning revenues from it?
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs really worth it? on: April 23, 2022, 04:17:36 PM
Governments will obviously advocate CBDCs as per them it is gem of a thing, it's cryptocurrency but obviously it gives them complete control to regulate the supply of the currency and at the same time know who is making what transactions. But for someone who is into cryptos CBDCs make zero sense, they actually spoil the fun of Cryptocurrencies and are just like Fiat upgraded versions. So to be honest they are not really worth it.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: How Capitalism defeated socialism? on: April 22, 2022, 07:08:53 PM
The verdict is in, and contrary to what socialists say, capitalism, with all its warts, is the preferred economic system to bring the masses out of poverty and to make them productive citizens in our country and in countries around the world. Remember this: Capitalism rewards merit, socialism rewards mediocrity. I mean, socialism talking about equality but it is just a beautiful lie , and capitalism is an ugly truth !
I think capitalism is obviously the only way to prosper because capitalism thinking actually matches with the inner instinct of every human. Capitalism was once considered a problem and the reason for that was everyone wasn't given an equal opportunity to mint their way in capitalism, if you are born as a slave you'll be a slave and a son of rich capitalist will always be richer, but sooner with every person trying to make their own fortune these definitions have changed, infact capitalists now themselves make sure to do enough charity in society, it's just about giving equal opportunities, we need government or socialist intervention to give everyone equal opportunities and over that it's your merit, you can't just distribute everything equally.
