I switched to new VIP program but im starting to have second taughts if i took the right decision.
Chests prizes are pretty low in my opinion ; for the ones who didnt switched yet, i recommend to read good about it.
Give it more time as we explore the new VIP program. There might be more surprises in store for us who switched to this new program and who knows there might be more promotions exclusive to those who switched and yes, to those who has not switched yet, take your time to study and read what the new VIP program is about.

I guess you missed to add this guy, he only started April 19 unless you only place a lender who already gave a loan to a user here. This guy has none yet as of this moment.

teck28 || Required || || New Lending Service
1003  Economy / Lending / Re: [LIST] Bitcointalk's Lending Services [LIST] on: April 23, 2019, 11:57:00 PM
Can you add a column that says when they started their lending service or giving out loans? This way it would help those who plans to borrow to determine knows who are in this business and if they plan to borrow they are confident that their collateral (if they will use one) will be safe. I wouldn't send any collateral to those who are new and without any trade history.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 23, 2019, 11:39:02 PM
Gambling with your parents might be the unusual bonding of the family but I was able to experience this one before.

In my place, you can gamble on the wake which is normal and a form of sympathy. I was young that time and my dad was playing on the other table called "Mahjong", my Mom was playing "Bingo", and I'm playing card game (Tong-its) that time and it looks like my whole family are playing and aiming to win some money

When I grew up, gambling becomes our source of happiness but suddenly becomes our worst enemy because honestly my parents got separated because of gambling and until now they blame the addiction of my dad. I'm old enough now to realize that was a biggest mistake of my family, to let that addiction ruin our family. I promise to myself not to be like my dad, I will not expose my kids into gambling.

Will you do the same mistakes of my family or you will keep your kids or even yourself away from gambling?
I guess you are from the Philippines since you mentioned tong-its. In our country, its not new to see family members play or gamble like cards or a dice game where you roll 2 dice and cover with a cup, then guess what number came out, its called beto beto. Money at stake is not high since its just for fun.

Last month I left my wallet in bitsler like 0.003 BTC It is good to see that it is still there until now and I claimed some rewards there which are good also. I am looking forward to stretch my gambling time there. I see many new features and I like them.
I don't see any reason why your 0.003 BTC will vanish without any reason and I don't think no gambling site will do that unless they want to ruin their name. I wonder if there's any site that that gives interest to those who kept their BTC in their site for a long time.
1006  Other / Meta / Re: The problem begins and ends with YOU. on: April 22, 2019, 03:06:40 AM
I'm sorry if 95% of the newcomers are just spammers (and I say this because I'm on this forum every day and I can confirm that's true). There are so many spammers every day splitting nonsense for the sake of ranking up and getting money. It's really annoying. But when a golden user appears somewhere (someone who actually wants to discuss/be part of the forum), no one is going to attack or hate him. Fact. I help many newbies here every day and if they are not shitposters, I respect them and actually make some time for them. I've had long conversations with other users through PM, helping them with their doubts or problems. The rank is not the problem. The problem is their intension in this forum.
I don't know if we are suppose to hate the newbies or we hate the ones who introduce Bitcointalk to the newbies. They we're directed to this forum because that's how it was introduced to the newbies. Living in a third world country, $100 a week from a signature campaign is $100 a week, its better than asking money in the streets or looking for looking for plastic disposable water and sell in the junk shop but then again, it doesn't justify the reason to spam the forum with non-sense opinion just to get paid. Until now I still see posts in FB groups related to Cryptos saying "It's easy to earn money in Bitcointalk by posting", instead of "you can learn a lot in Bitcointalk about Cryptos".

It's like clockwork for Bitsler that everytime it will reach another Billionth of bets they will celebrate it by way of giveaway to its loyal customers. And everytime they will have a promo for it they'll sort of change the mechanics in which they will make sure that the giveaway is played fair and the one who will rwally win is a true user of Bitsler. I jave participated it on it in the past but I'm not one of the lucky ones who have hit a billion milestone. Goodluck for everyone and I hope for the best for Bitsler and all of us users.
This milestone promotion is anticipated by many loyal users of Bitslers, its also anticipated by those who wants to take advantage of the mechanics thats why Bitsler have to change the mechanics from time to time so that everyone will have the chance to win as long as you qualify.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who sell? / How this happens? on: April 17, 2019, 11:56:27 PM
Looks like someone forgot to adjust the settings of their bot. I have seen this kind of movement before and someone posted here what happened and its similar to this but then again could be a human error it self or someone trying to manipulate the price. Congrats to those who we're able to buy at bargain price.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 17, 2019, 11:50:49 PM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.
One reason that I see why gamblers place a more money in sports betting than other form of gambling is in sports betting, they have different sources to get information on who will win. Sports analyzers are everywhere and statics are open to the public and odds are given even before the match starts so the chances of winning are high in sports betting. Downside is if you place your bet on a favorite, returns are very small.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: April 17, 2019, 11:47:22 PM
For most people (myself included), gambling at online casino's is a harmless pass time fun activity, but of course it can become a problem for many.   IMO, to lessen the risk of becoming a problem gambler, there are certain things i bear in mind such as,
  • Gambling for Fun - Not to Win Money  Smiley
  • Setting myself a gambling goal
  • I Bet small  (don't blow all your money at once)
  • I practice gambling with friends  Grin
  • Set time limits and walk away  Roll Eyes

Many of these are easier said than done of course but it might be worth noting.   Online gambling is probably the best thing to happen since sliced bread  Huh and i'm not saying these points could or would work for everyone but they might help in enjoying gambling in a healthy, financially sensible way.

I'm interested to know how you keep tabs and control on your gambling to make sure that one does not become a compulsive gambler or problem gambler.
The part where "I practice gambling with friends" is the one that I don't follow, the rest I follow like my house rules. If I play with my friends, then I already blow my security as I don't let other people know that I gamble. this is the reason why I chose online gambling than traditional gambling, so that others will not judge you and criticize you on your way of spending your time and money.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 17, 2019, 11:43:40 PM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy
I look at it as an interactive form of entertainment. If you want to watch a movie, you pay how much $8 per movie and that will last for 3 hours. I look at it same way, it might look expensive but we have our own way of entertaining ourselves. The profits that we get from it is just a bonus if we are lucky enough to win.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: April 17, 2019, 07:05:44 AM
Manny is too busy focusing on his own son and his career then he is focusing on his own

"Manny Pacquiao’s son Jimuel scores KO in first amateur fight"
https://sports.inquirer.net/346227/manny-pacquiao-son-jimuel-scores-ko-in-first-amateur-fight

Not that I am judging Jimuel or otherwise known as Pacboy (pun intended), I don't think Jimuel will make it like his dad Senator Manny Pacquiao. Jimuel was born when Senator Manny Pacquiao is already making his name. Those who are successful in boxing started at an early age and had a hard time earning money in their early days. Senator Manny Pacquiao had this drive when he was still starting, while Jimuel just want to follow his dads footsteps. But, good luck to the Pacboy.

Here's the fight if any of you are interested to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HceqnYcjdXU
1013  Other / Meta / Re: Collectibles Sub forum on: April 17, 2019, 06:38:32 AM
I sell regular gold and silver coins regularly in the collectibles section. It is for all collectibles.  Another sub forum would simply lower the audience and require checking another sub.  Current system works great.
I agree on this, having a separate Collectibles and Collectibles Discussion is not really a good idea. Only a few discussion is made about collectibles and most discussions are born because of the item being sold. A few weeks ago I was itching to open a topic about silver wallets, how much it will be sold if I post it now, I was thinking where to place the thread until I found a thread about it in the same section.
1014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalp trading vs. Swing trading, which is your style? on: April 16, 2019, 11:35:33 PM
It depends on how much time I have. If its my day off from my day job, I do scalp trading since it requires focus on the coin that you bought. If I am at work which is 5 days of the week, I do swing trading. One thing I notice is that I earn more if I do scalp trading, unlike swing trading, sometimes it takes a lot of time or day before I hit my goal.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: April 16, 2019, 11:29:42 PM
Manny Pacquiao in MMA?
I don't think Senator Manny Pacquiao will agree on such terms and fight MMA. If ever he will fight under Rizin, he will fight under boxing rules just like what Floyd Mayweather did last December 2018. I don't recall any news thar Senator Manny trained for MMA. Senator Manny is a businessman as well, he knows what is doing and he will not sign under Rizin if he will not earn anything from it and not on his advantage.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your opinion on UFC fighert Ben Askren? on: April 16, 2019, 11:23:45 PM
Never heard of this guy before. Did some research on Google and observed that he is not someone worth betting on at present atleast. He is currently ranking 5th in Welterweight rankings and I doubt he will ever become the champ once again.

What is the big deal with him being a crypto enthusiast though? Weird.
Give it more time, this guy just debuted in UFC and we all know that in UFC they have the best fighters there. Askren maybe successful in Bellator and One FC lets see how he can hable the fighters in UFC. Just look at Brandon Vera, he is not as successful as he is when he was in UFC but in One FC he is tge Champion there.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: April 16, 2019, 11:16:18 PM
Aside from Basketball this is one of those that men here in the Philippines knows how to play and some are addicted to this. Big event lasts for 5 days and it is held in big domes like here in the Philippines the Araneta Coliseum but most of the time it is held in small arenas. You will be surprissed that even in the streets they play this.
1018  Economy / Gambling / Re: what the most honest casino ,provably fair that accept bitcoin? on: April 16, 2019, 11:08:19 PM
This topic will drag for months and a few more pages. An honest site for you may not be as honest as I thought it is for me. I may say Bitsler is an honest site but others may think its not. We may debate 24/7 on what or who is an honest site here, but question is who can stay in the business longer than others.
1019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: April 16, 2019, 10:51:10 PM
I am always contented with small gains rather than wait for big gains. Imagine waiting for your investment to reach 23-30% and all of sudden the price dropped and took weeks or months to recover. I have been in this situation before and all I can do is sell below my Buying price just to recover through other investment.
I mean who would not want to cash out a 20% gains as soon as it touches? Expecting more with having a reason behind it would be dumb to speculate and watch on. If I was in that situation I and many others here would have also done the same. But then there will be some noobs who dont understand trading and would keep on watching with drooling mouth for even more gains only to watch it crash. Grin
Everyone started as a noobs and mistakes happen and that should teach noobs that trading ain't easy as picking apples. That is why there are forums like this where we can share our experience and share our mistakes so others won't fall for the same mistake. But I guess they have to learn from their own mistake too so that they will believe that what we are sharing here is true based on our experience.
1020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest now? or wait for down turn? on: April 16, 2019, 10:43:07 PM
Just like what they say, the best time to invest is yesterday. I don't wait for any bull run, settle for small profits as long as you get profits daily then you are good to go. Image getting profits of 2% per day, that's how much in a month? 60%? Others are waiting for bull run for how many months now while others who took 2% per day are enjoying 60% per month. Think about that.
