1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: April 30, 2015, 05:04:43 PM
Bitcoin went fro $40 to less than $2, a bigger fall than BTC.

But sometimes LTC do bigger rises than BTC.

LTC might be better if you buy just before a BTC rise, but of course it is more riskier
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: April 30, 2015, 04:43:53 PM
because Bitcoin is small and few people accept it and FIAT is big and everyone accept it?

1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Bitcoin. on: April 29, 2015, 02:16:18 AM
The alt threads are full of people looking for the next Bitcoin and developers trying to create the next bitcoin. Why are so many people looking for the next Bitcoin? What's wrong with the one we have now?

In the point of view of most of people that post in the altcoin section, the major problem is they lost the opportunity to become millionaire with only a couple of $ and some time doing faucets or begging some coins.

They do it because they want to become rich too
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were to recreate Bitcoin to be better and more secure. How would you? on: April 29, 2015, 02:12:26 AM
Slower halvings, so the extreme early adopters would not have such huge advantage, like happened with BTC
1013  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring python developer for a few small scripts, paying well on: April 27, 2015, 11:48:13 PM

Dunno what I should charge because I never did freelancing stuff.

1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 27, 2015, 11:20:45 PM
Speculations btc-e might close soon so people are panic buying before their fiat gets lost..

Anybody else heard about it?

I don't see people complaining about BTC-e fiat withdraws.

People are panicking only because they see BTC-e prices are higher and think that something must be happening, not because something is in fact happening
