Title is misleading, you should stop at trading and not add "on mcxNOW"

1008  Other / Off-topic / Re: So I bought some of them cloud mining GH/s on: November 07, 2013, 12:15:20 AM
And to be honest I was blinded that I wanted to invest heavily in CEX.io, to the point where I was thinking of requesting a 12BTC loan here to buy at least 100gh/s more of mining power, then I saw on their forums a guy asking what happens with their hashing power if the site shuts down and my ideas got crushed.

I mean imagine me having to return a 12btc loan, and all of a sudden my 100-150gh/s go poof?

Well, if the site got shuts down, most likely you will lost all your hash. Maybe cex will do some reimburse or private hash?

1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: switching cryptocurrencies with your BTC hardware? on: November 06, 2013, 01:43:49 PM
I have basically this exact set up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdxwCiMrpQI

but mining bitcoins is just a waste of time now, far too difficult.

What other cryptocurrency could i mine with this hardware? I was thinking ltc but then i'd need to buy graphics cards and build a new system etc.

What currency would be best using only this hardware? /any other thoughts on the future of mining BTC looking grim.

BTC hardware is only for SHA-256, LTC is scrypt so you can't Smiley..
1012  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 6850 running 98*C stock? on: November 06, 2013, 01:30:18 PM
I just bought two 6850's for my first non-dedicated mining rig.  One is running at 68*C and the other at 98*C.  Is this a concern?  Both of them are running next to each other so I'm guessing it's having a hard time circulating air.  I under clocked the memory which had no noticeable affect.  Any help is appreciated, I'd like to be able to overclock these cards without worrying about the temperature.

First, undervolt both GPU as low as you can, buy some fan to exhaust the heat from the first GPU so minimize the heat for the 2nd GPU. Anyway its best that you get some 16x PCIE extender to separate the two card as far as possible.

1019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC will drop soon... on: November 06, 2013, 01:21:05 PM
....or not?

First of all, hello to everyone. Impressive forum! 2nd: Sorry for my english, I'm a non native. 3rd. I am new to BTC. I 've read a lot about it the last days and weeks but it gave me nearly more questions than answers  Shocked

I didn't buy any BTC yet. But I want.
2 days ago, I saw it around 155 Euro. I thought I should wait. But it rises and rises and today it's around 188 Euros. Damn...Why didn't I buy?!

Now I've seen around the net, that some people say, it will drop on 8 of November due to a new difficult level!? Is this right?

Further I've read here that this was already 3 days ago, and the BTC will go up till end of the week. I am confused.

I wanna start with 2 Bitcoins, or 3 or 4......just to test it.

Anyone can give me a suggestion WHEN to buy? (Noone needs to give a warranty, I know you all can only speculate).

Kind regards @ all

Mickey
