Jak to nie będzie akceptowała nowych kont? W sensie w randze poniżej jr? Myślę że ten jeden merit będzie największym problemem dla "maluczkich -" w znakomitej większości właścicieli 1 konta (czasami kilku) natomiast "potentaci" - właściciele kilkudziesięciu czy kilkuset kont dadzą sobie radę... handel meritami już się rozpoczął jestem przekonany że niebawem zaczną się ogłoszenia o pisaniu "wartościowych" postów z gwarancją meritów... To zdecydowanie za duży biznes żeby tak mały limit nim potrząsnął. Najważniejsze jednak że w to chociaż trochę utrudni sytuację farm i botów. Mnie osobiście strasznie wkurzają i mam nadzieję że uda się znaleźć lepsze sposoby na utrudnienie im życia. Dużo się zmieniło w ostatnim roku na Bitkointalk i moim zdaniem na lepsze. A co wy o tym sądzicie?
Przywołam tutaj cytat z filmu "Rejs" - "... nie słyszałem wprawdzie piosenki ale chętnie powiem kilka słów na jej temat..." (w sensie nie wiem jak było wcześniej ale powiem coś o tym co ma miejsce dzisiaj...) Jestem przykładem działania nowej polityki meritowej - zagłębiłem się w to forum w trakcie zimowego booomu na krypto - wcześniej kilka razy tu wpadałem żeby trochę poczytać ale dopiero boom krypto mnie ściągnął na dobre zaczęło się od altów a potem trafiłem na bounty - i to mnie wciągnęło. Ponieważ skupiłem się na tłumaczeniach WP i wątków ANN/Bounty lubię o sobie myśleć nie jako o spamerze - bo to co postowałem "miało sens" - zwiększało świadomość polskich użytkowników w zakresie nowych projektów (fajnie brzmi!!!) ;-) Ale do sedna... kiedy doszedłem z activity do poziomu Member zdziwiłem się że nie dostałem nowej rangi - wtedy dowiedziałem się o meritach po przeczytaniu kilku artykułów i poradników.... doszedłem do wniosku, że nie mam szans - to nie dla mnie więc zostanę sobie na poziomie juniora i tyle... Ale... kilka miesięcy później nastąpiła rewolucja - 1 merit dla juniora.... Zauważyłem to bo w moich postach zamiast grafiki pojawiły się same linki. Więc po kilku miesiącach musiałem ponownie zmierzyć się z tematem merita... Początkowo próbowałem iść na skróty - dorwać go za darmo, kupić etc. dopiero kiedy to nie poszło postanowiłem zdobyć go "legalnie"... i okazało się że trafiłem go pierwszym "prawdziwym postem".... (dla tych, którzy się wybitnie nudzą daje Link do szerszej wersji mojej historii) od tego czasu oprócz tłumaczeń zacząłem również czytać watki i czasami również włączać się do dyskusji..... Podsumowując (sorry że się tak rozpisałem) widzę na swoim własnym przykładzie, ze nowe reguły działają na korzyść forum... |

A jak myślicie, co by się stało gdyby wprowadzili system antymeritów - jeden antymerit zabiera merit z tych posiadanych i co za tym idzie może doprowadzić do obniżenia rangi aż do newbie (powiedzmy że trzeba byłoby bardzo dobrze uzasadnić zdanie takiego ciosu)

Wszystko zależy od wypracowanych zasad tego systemu tzn za co powinno się je przyznawać, znając jednak fakt że ludzie bywają z natury zawistni i często zamiast pracować na swój własny sukces wolą się cieszyć z cudzych porażek (tutaj niestety Polacy jako nacja nie pozostają specjalnie w tyle a chyba nawet mamy całkiem dobre predyspozycje) mam duże wątpliwości co do takiego rozwiązania. Po za tym merit jest (przynajmniej z założenia) nagrodą za wkład w forum - jeśli został przyznany zgodnie z zasadami nie widzę powodu żeby go odbierać. Można dostać merita za sensownie napisanego posta lub szerokie rozwinięcie jakiego problemu etc. To za co w takim razie antymerit za krótkiego posta czy posta bez sensu? - w takim razie nowi użytkownicy mogliby zaczynać na duuużych minusach ;-). Na forum przewidziane są inne rodzaje kar - RED trust, ban ect. zawsze można rozważyć ich rozszerzenie ale akurat co do antymeritów nie jestem przekonany. Bardziej podobałoby mi się odbieranie meritów co do których ewidentnie wykaże się ich "nieuczciwe" przyznanie - często widzę (zwłasza ostatnio) merity przyznane za zgłoszenia do airdrop albo bounty raport z listą postów/repostów czy za post typu "nice project!" i zawsze wtedy się we mnie gotuje... |

The activities in the bounty section should be cancel because it has no major effect in the forum. There is a lot of spam in there. I have been there for a while now. The activities don't prove your real self. I have changed to other sections of the forum to enable start getting the desirable merit I want.
Some people are there just because of the bounty program and not having the forum in mind.

Activity on this forum is a parameter based on the post count and time since being registered. Being more precisely it’s minimal value from the total number of posts and the number of 14 days periods one’s posted since registration multiplied by 14.

The idea of providing this parameter was also decreasing spam. After this implementation spamming more than one post per day became useless if ones purpose was only get higher rank. Other words it became impossible to rank any account faster than fixed period of time.
Ok, that happen in 2013 and it works until today. Has anything changed since 2013? I think it has! Few years ago new era – ICO’s Era has come. But I don’t want to talk about altcoins in general but only about two activities connected with ICOs - bounty and airdrop.
Why? What makes the difference?
Before bounty and airdorp threads have started, each post even shit one had “meaning”. By posting anything you started a new topic of discussion or simply took a part in existing one. Even if the posts were only “Yes”, “I don’t agree”, “I like this project”, “Bulshit!”, etc. they were somebody's voice in discussion. It also means that poster at least has read a few post from the thread to chose if his answer should be “You’ve right!” or “What a nonsense!”.
What about airdrops and bounties? Posts in such threads in 99,99% only inform about 2 things:
1. "I want free coins!”
2. “I did my job - here is my report/retweets/reposts...”
And that’s it... nothing else... Other words they have completely no meaning from discussion board point of view. This case they shouldn’t also be treated like any kind of activity on forum. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not against bounties or airdrops I’ve also taken part in many of them, but look the situation:
Today it’s possible that guy whose only activity on forum was asking for free coins 60 times (airdrop) or taking part in few bounties is writing one good post (or get 10 merits in other way – as you all know it’s unfortunately possible) and he is automatically given Member rank. Does such guy really deserve Member rank?
Even in signature bounty campaigns posts from bounty threads are not counted so why we should count it while calculating important Activity parameter.
Summing up: my idea is to cut off the posts written in bounties section from the number of posts used to calculate activity parameter.
I’m not sure how difficult it could be from the developer side, but if there are future, which divides all written post into 14-days periods and then calculated only not empty periods probably there would be also possibility to cut off post from bounty board while calculation activity.

I'm not sure if I understood but if you ask: does a newbie need to have any activity before getting merit? The answer is no. You can write only one post and if somebody finds it useful or meaningful or interesting or well written etc. he could give you a Merit. You also can have 200, 400 or even 1000 of activity, but without at least one good post you still have zero merit.... Merits sucks!!! People really not often give merits especially to Newbies. Probably they (senior users) start this system to give merits one to another .
I agree with this part. Thats all i have to say about it.  As you read, few days ago that was my thinking exactly... Now 6 day later after writing single thread and pointing out my opinion in several other threads I've collected almost 30 Merits. You know what's funny? When I've read first time some guides about merit I though that it isn't for me. I'll stay with Jr. Member rank - that's enough for me. Then the revolution came, so I need one single merit to be able to post images (what is important to me). That's why I've started to put some more effort to my posts... When I got first merit my job was done, but... I found this merit kind of fun and challege as well. So I've ranked to Jr Member than to Member and now I'm aiming to Full Member rank. 100 Merits is my actual challenge. I'm not thinking that earning this amount will be easy but now I'm sure that is possible for me. And if it's possible to me it's also possible for you! So once again Don't loos faith! ;-) |

Yes, that is abusing merit the receiver and sender merit will be punished once they are caught someone and proven they are abusing both accounts were got negative trust. ... I'm wonder if getting red trust would stop such merit trader from continuing this activity? For example this guy: LINK has already got -32 trust and he's still trading without care.
Maybe exept red trust it could be possible to block his sMerits for some period of time or delete them for good. Such guy could still get Merit for his contribution but not sMerit until his punishement period will pass. This would stop him trading for good. I'm sure that such solution could be developed. |

So... summing up for most of you activity seems to have almost no metter... And despite my intention expressed in topic of this thread... we came back to merit again ;-) A more effective idea to remove bounties from spoiling the forum would be to remove the ability to merit in bounty threads or boards.
I like the idea of removing the ability to merit in bounty threads very much! It pisses me off when I see post with twitter/facebook raport or even airdrop application rewarded with merit. It's such a shamelss behavior.... One sholud at least pretends writing one post in any other topic. So cutting this possibility off (as well as not counting bounty posts to activity parameter) would make me feel a little bit better. ...
It will not resolved the problem try to figure out if it will happen then where will these people go? Spamming on META section just to get merit!
It's already happen, but at least some of them try to write something in full sentences with any meaning. |

Since 1 merit for Jr Member revolution everybody talks about this magic thing.
Newbies (including me) try hard to get their first one. They read guides, starting new threats writing their first “valuable” posts. What is interesting in 99 out of hundred cases they try to convince everybody how happy are they now and how perfect solution is rising the requirements of ranking up.
Ranked users also make a lot of discuss about this “merit revolution”. Mostly pointing out its advantages as lowering the spam allover the forum thanks to temporarily kicking out thousands account from signature bounties. They also considering is one merit for Jr enough? Maybe this limit should be lifted up higher like 5 or 10 or even more merit.
But… let’s leave merit for a while (today probably everybody are fed up this word).

Merit will only come eventually for users who are showing people that he is truly making an effort to change by improving his posts quality over a period of time, I believe it would be hard for some newbie users to get any merit if they still insists to make tons of low quality posts, my advice to them is to embrace the change and start putting in more time and efforts to increase the overall quality of their posts slowly.
