CAPT will never be 'mineable' directly...
However it can be mined from a multipool... something like Hashcows [Suspicious link removed]
I am working on having CAPT as a payout method at that site.... hopefully before distribution ends so we can all jump on that...
I have done this before with PMC and the owner of Hashcows likes to see community interest... usually by donation of the currency to be used for payout...
So two questions:
1) Any interest in mining CAPT via a multipool?
2 Are you willing to donate to make that happen?
( The donated CAPT are returned to the miners, Hashcows doesn't actually keep it )
So are you saying that you would like to have CAPT go through a short POW prior to or after distribution ends? I think he is talking about doing what BlackCoin does with their multipool. That is, the multipool mines whatever coin is the most profitable at the moment, dumps them for BTC, and then buys CAPTcoins with the earned BTC. These CAPTcoins are then distributed among the miners proportionally to their hashrate. I think it would be great as it maintains some buy pressure. I think its a very good idea especially of the pool buying CAPTcoin periodically. That will create the demand of CAPTcoin and will be good especially after the 50 days distribution is over when there will not be newbies dumping fresh from solved captchas. Let everyone know a bit more on it. For starter, is there any investment required? What's the minimum? Can we invest with CAPTcoin etc. If this does happen, tell us before it does, so we can buy before the price rises  |

I have found a block in 18 hours when I'm not even finished plotting my space yet I can get about 1 block per day with 300 GB so far. |

About the size, every nounce is 0.25 mb so 1k = 250 mb 10k = 2.5 gb 100k = 25gb etc I use 512000 because i like the number, resulting in ~130gb plots, easy to move around Op stated each plot was 256 kb |

If anyone is thinking about using AltDice.net for betting purposes, DON'T DO IT. The site was working for a while (I won 142 coins through them) but they've turned into a scam. Money sent to any of their addresses is no longer paid back if you win.

I am mining with 3 drives:
Drive 1: 200GB plot: Found 8 blocks
Drive 2: 250GB plot: Found 2 blocks
Drive 3: 1 TB Drive, found 0 blocks, plot is still being generated.
Today another 4tb drive should be delivered on which i will experiment in generating fast plots. Have a idea for that but if this succeeds and many perople do this the diff will just increase.
how to see which drive found the block? thanks! I think each drive has its own wallet. |

This is a smart idea, I am pretty sure that as dumb as some people think some of these guys are, they are not stupid.
Watch these guys be the first to actually realize that they can use their cash to buy up all the coin for pennies on the dollar that are mined and then put the shit in their songs and make a 100 million dollars by the end of the year.
I am willing to bet that these are the first ones to "get it" and instead of fighting it, totally cash in and make bank!!!
