Nice to see Top going up. Looks like the good coins are finally getting some well deserved action.

Is this also going to poloniex soon too? The increased volume over bittrex may raise prices some.
Hit up the troll box on Poloniex. Start talking there. i put another email out to the exchange so they are watching us. Poloniex, from what I've seem is just a pump and dump exchange that tends to destroy coins using the chatbox to organize, and attack. Generally all newer coins tend to be very short-lived there. I've also heard that said for Cryptsy and Mintpal. Depends if you want to sell coins or not. Bittrex is nice but no volume.

Looks like a good coin with a good bunch of peeps behind it. Go guys/gals.

OK. Funds were frozen. Some kind of allocation plan is/was in place.
Was anyone left with UNfrozen BTC or LTC? I don't mean minuscule amounts.
Has anyone had LTC or BTC amounts UNfrozen? Any amount?

I heard people in Quebec are hostile toward English speakers, is that generally true?
Sort of. Quebec has the Language Police. For instance; store owners can be fined for including English in their signs and ads. Funny. The rest of Canada is obliged to teach French in schools. It used to be a default subject in Grade 8 - not sure about nowadays. It is law that French be on all labels and official signage throughout Canada. Double standard. Somewhat. Decivox was a little blunt in his post but accurate for the most part. Not that we need to get political here. The political and cultural scenerios only give this coin a stronger position in Quebec. The main reason I invested.

My lite coins are unfortunately still frozen Has anyone's litecoins been unfrozen yet? unless kumala finds a way to inject new funds into the company we have no chance to get anything back. with the revenues generated by the trades in the exchange we might get everything back in year 2050 If you want a chance at recovery START TRADING! I agree 100%. Wished I had been left with something to trade with.

Sure would be nice if Top came out on top.

LOL. No need to panic now. Most exchanges, if not all, have implemented the fix. Bitstamp is not vulnerable to heartbleed although they do not receive the highest scores for security. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=bitstamp.netMintpal and Bittrex receive the highest security scores at Qualys SSL Labs. Poloniex and Bter scores are slightly lower but are not vulnerable to heartbleed. Still a good idea to go around and change passwords asap especially if you are not using 2FA. Some linux and freebsd operating systems are affected and need ssl upgraded. Ubuntu and Debian issued upgrades yesterday.

Nothing wrong with Suncoin. Too many coins and not enough traders and btc to go around.
~100 million total, 2 million mined. It is not so much. I mean other altcoins. I'm talking about trading not mining.

That is old news. Thanks for trying to beat a dead horse.

I have 10.99274015 BTC and all of it still frozen. On the one hand, I'm happy people with smaller balances are getting paid and that this isn't completely hopeless. On the other hand, I think this distribution system they have is awful and unfair, since I have a larger balance I might be stuck without seeing a satoshi for who knows how long (if I ever see anything). I urge Vircurex to reconsider this system and make every effort to pay everyone back ASAP. I would appreciate at least a few % of my balance as a gesture if nothing else.
Has anyone got a substantial amount of Btc or Ltc unfrozen? That is the question of the day. I had a teenie bit of btc left alone but it was not even enought to transfer out after fees.

Yes. The Nation coins have been different beasts.
Look at Aurora. I laughed at that coin and look where it went. AUR was surrounded by FUD. I still don't know who the dev is and where it was produced for sure.
Maplecoin is not an "official" Canadian coin. It is another pump&dumper produced by the same no name crew who produced Mazacoin and gawd only knows about the others. Boxxa, anonpirate, anonymouspirate are nic names associated with these coins.
Aprodite coin dumped a bunch of its premine yesterday. Poloniex exchange warned its customers of such.
Canada Ecoin webpage looked like it was banged out as a last minute thought.
Yep. Quebecoin is looking pretty good to me right now.

Nothing here. I'm excited there is sign of life at Vircurex.

Anonymousxx. Seriously dude. Your post makes you appear to be looking for a payoff to go away or some such thing.
Yeah that may have come out wrong. Shouldn't have gotten emotional over it I guess, felt the same way when there talks of a darkcoin clone. I invested in Québecoin (the one OP made) because it looks awesome and he looks like he knows what he's doing. It has great features and great design as well. Then you see someone come along with a sha256 coin that they threw together.. I don't know. I guess I should STFU and let OP handle it. Other QuebecCoin guy, your coin is pretty outdated to be honest... Anonymousxx1503. I apologize profusely. Got names and posts mixed up. My remark should have been directed to QuebecCoin, the guy with another coin. Anyways ... looks like things are ok and I'm still trying to get foot out of mouth. Again ... I am sorry.

I recently tried multibit for linux 64 bit. I was not impressed. Too buggy for me. I got worried and sent my btc back to blockchain info. Blockchain has better security than me with sms verification, sms notifications, email and paper backups. I have no problem with the ltc, mint, vert, etc. wallets for local storage and usage. They work fine.

How can anyone not love the name "Mint"? Green is beautiful. Trees are beautiful.
I love to gaze at my Mint wallet. The green, the minting, the profit, so nice. It gives me inner peace.
Everyone should experience "inner peace". Buy some Mint.
That evocative image is a superficial feature really, but at the same time it is invaluable in creating brand consciousness. This marketability and image is a critical component to mass adoption that most other coins don't seem to take into consideration at. Add to that the revolutionary "green" mining process that anyone with a regular device can participate in and it is easy to see why not only is the MINT community strong, but it is easy for that community to grow in a way not available to other coin schemes. You are so articulate. Thankyou. I was, in around about way, trying to say that ... lol. And I did not want to point fingers at coins with depressing names.

Blaming the clients and blaming one's self is just WRONG.
People need to quit trying to rationalize this fiasco.
Those that keeping touting " don't keep your coins on exchanges or its your own fault " need to give their heads a shake.
We entrust exchanges with our money. It is their responsibility to protect it whilst under their care. End of story.
