Buonasera ragazzi, era da un pò che volevo scrivere questa piccola guida, l'ho usata io stesso per fare dei test ed ha funzionato, non uso questo portafoglio per fare self-custody, ma ho voluto provare a "creare" un hardware wallet air-gapped utilizzando un vecchio smartphone.
Non so dirvi quanto affidabile possa essere questo metodo, sicuramente più affidabile di qualche wallet software closed source, ce di buono che la chiave privata in questo modo sarà completamente offline

Premessa! questa è una guida a scopo informativo, non so quanto possa essere affidabile il metodo per conservare una grande somma di BTC per tanto non usatelo come wallet principale ma solo per smanettare un pò nel tempo libero  


Cosa occorre avere?

Uno smartphone vecchio e lo smartphone di utilizzo abituale.
App Blue wallet installato su entrambi i device

Iniziamo!

Per prima cosa procurarsi un vecchio smartphone da utilizzare per lo scopo, non deve avere inserita una sim card e deve essere scollegato da wifi, per tanto dopo aver installato Blue wallet sul dispositivo (vecchio smartphone) disabilitate il wifi, cancellate eventuali password di wifi salvate e attivate la modalità aereo (tanto per essere più sicuri).
Io ho utilizzato un vecchio iphone 7 che prendeva polvere! non comprate uno smartphone per questo scopo, si fa prima a comprare un jade o altro


Step 1
installate blue wallet, disabilitate wifi e inserite modalità aereo
create un nuovo wallet e conservate le frasi di recupero

step 2
Aprite blue wallet sullo smartphone che utilizzate abitualmente e premete sul pulsante "+" per creare un nuovo wallet e cliccate su importa wallet, adesso cliccate su scansiona un codice qr

sul vecchio smartphone invece cliccate sul portafoglio precedentemente creato e in alto a destra dovreste trovare un menù con icona 3puntini "..." cliccateci e selezionate "mostra XPUB del portafoglio"

scansionate il codice qr che vi visualizza blue wallet con lo smartphone che usate abitualmente, verrà importato il wallet in modalità sola lettura "watch only".

ed eccoci praticamente alla fine del DIY che in realtà DIY non è  

adesso manca soltanto provare se tutto funziona, quindi dovremmo inviare qualche sats sul vecchio smartphone, e per vedere il saldo dovremmo utilizzare l'altro smartphone

una volta ricevuti i fondi sul wallet, per poterli movimentare dovremmo usare entrambi gli smartphone. Quindi,

Apriamo il wallet "watch only" sullp smartphone abituale e premere su invia, vi uscira un messaggio di attenzione quindi premi su "ok"
inseriamo l'indirizzo di destinazione e l'ammontare dei sat da inviare e premi avanti

vi uscira un codice qr, quindi prendete lo smartphone vecchio aprite il wallet e premete su invia, in alto a destra cliccate sul menù a 3 puntini "..." e selezionate "firma una transazione" e scansionate il codice qr visualizzato sul altro smartphone, a questo punto la transazione non è ancora firmata e vi appaiono dei codici qr in sequenza che sarebbero la HEX della transazione, per convalidarla dovrete prendere lo smartphone che usate abitualmente e sotto il codice qr precedentemente visualizzato selezionate "scansiona transazione firmata" e scansionate i codici qr e confermate. Fine! la tx è adesso sulla blockchain.

Sono consapevole che la guida è scritta un pò confusionaria, ma in realtà è più semplice di quanto sembri. quindi adesso pareri e discussione sono ben accettate

Provo a dire la mia sulla questione casa.

Nessuno vieta che una famiglia debba vivere in affitto ma la domanda esce spontanea, perché buttare soldi per un immobile che alla fine non è tuo? Risparmiare sulle manutenzioni? Secondo me irrilevante, le manutenzioni dispendiose capitano raramente almeno che non compri un immobile già fatiscente! Potrei capire più che altro per non andare incontro a disastri climatici, che magari creano un danno al cappotto o al tetto o al fotovoltaico se presente! Però potrebbero esserci le assicurazioni che in parte possono coprire il danno. Io comunque sia l'acquisto di un immobile lo vedo come un investimento se studiato bene, dovrai pagare una percentuale alla banca ok ma alla fine ti rimane il bene materiale. Lo puoi mettere in affitto se magari ha più di un appartamento e recuperare spesa, ti rimane come eredità per la prole ecc ecc
