1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell us How You bet On Dice on: November 27, 2016, 03:17:28 AM
If you think that here are serious strategy behind dice and there are ways of maximizing your profits then you are just fooling yourself.
Seriously if someone will tell you that he bet with multiplier of x9900 and won would you repeat this feat expecting to win as well?
1002  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 Predictions on: November 27, 2016, 03:08:27 AM
Below 1000 is very unlikely, I'd say the minimum that we'd be at is 1500 next year, without any significant driving factors that'll make the price go up.

why? if there are no inspirations to go up why would the price double from here? there's no particular reason why it shouldn't be $500 y then if nothing changes.
When we are at it, then what is the 'inspiration' for bitcoin to stay above $700 anyway? Because I see nothing special here, just progress of adoption and awareness.
You think that native price of bitcoin should be below $500 for any particular reason?
1003  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: November 27, 2016, 03:03:58 AM
I tried your site and I have noticed that I can deposit to only one BTC address. Is there a way to add more addresses? It's a standard feature to all BTC services, especially the ones that involve gambling. Thanks for listening.
What's wrong with one address mate? I guess it's alright, I have accounts in other sportsbook with the same feature but when I withdraw my funds they will use their default wallet to release my bitcoins. I have not tried changing address because their is no reason, but anyway, let's wait for the admin to answer your query.
Their deposit address is not a problem - yours is. If you want to preserve your anonymity status then you should always send bitcoin from different addresses.
Actually from what I could see one deposit address is standard among both casinos and exchanges - if you think that is not enough please use different wallets or addresses.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: November 27, 2016, 02:50:50 AM
Absolutely yes. If you plan to get rich with gambling even thought the chances of doing that is small, but its not impossible. You dont expect to put 200 satoshis and expect 2BTC. It does not work that way and for those saying its not the right way, then accept youre not ready to win big but you will blame yourself when you hit a jackpot with a small amount rather than putting big amount if yo had known.
You can't get rich by playing with fractures of dollar - which thousands satoshi basically translates to.
That is the fact, but when you are already rich and gamble with with full bitcoins then you can become poor very quick.
People just need to accept that gambling is not magical solution which will make you a millionaire - if that was the case 90% of society would be gamblers.
1005  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbook Limits on: November 27, 2016, 01:18:18 AM
Hey, does anyone on this forum have any experience of being collared by a sportsbook/bookmaker? Did anyone get limited to very small amounts or maybe even
kicked out? I know that standard bookies limit players, but not enough information is available for bitcoin books. Thanks.
This problem is not existent when you are playing online. If sportsbook will kick you because they think you are doing something against the rules then don't argue with them. Just leave.
Again, if you think you are being limited by your sportsbook, then quit and pick another one, you have plenty to choose from anyway.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite gambling / betting website on: November 26, 2016, 02:41:13 AM
Thank you for your answers, looks like the same websites are dominant !
I don't think it is worth the time and effort but you can read through this thread, gather people's responses what their favorite casinos are and update opening post with this info.
Also you could add Poll to this thread, but I guess it won't be as effective as manually counting people's opinions - also poll can be abused.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin still be the preferred cryptocurrency after 10 years? on: November 26, 2016, 02:30:53 AM
Altcoins are mostly a mess. In terms of life expectancy, bitcoin has no competition at all. No one is going to willingly put their money into a cryptocurrency that has no realistic expectations to live in the long term, and bitcoin is the only crypto that has that trait: long term trust. So no, it will not get replaced by any other crypto as the king of crypto, it will reign supreme and it will be worth hundred thousands of inflation adjusted dollars.

I'm not so sure about that. Ten years is a long time, and who knows what the technical evolution will bring us.
Imagine a crypto currency backed up by a major company. Let's say apple would decide to make the step into crypto.
With their capital, their community and their advertising skills, they could easily create an altcoin the world has not seen yet.

And this altcoin will be no different that current systems we already have. Think of it like advanced version virtual premium token you can find in games - like gold, crystals, gems.
Apple is fond of their extremely closed architecture - their coin would be hosted privately and backed by their own private blockchain. Do you think it would be secure option?
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting the squeeze on gambling with prepaids! on: November 26, 2016, 02:23:55 AM
Another small and indirect but nonetheless victory for Bitcoin! It might bring more users to bitcoin and effectively increase demand, then price will follow.
But there is also other side to it - bitcoin might get labelled as alternative payment method used by gamblers, dark market users and tax evaders.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 26, 2016, 02:19:14 AM
I have seen some posters here claiming that they apply analysis to their poker strategy. So how exactly you do it?
You analyse your own games and try to fix your apparent errors or you analyse your opponent gameplay?
I am still not convinced that word 'analyse' is good to use in this context. It feels more like learning thought trial and error.
1010  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: November 26, 2016, 02:07:08 AM
And any idea why daily prices on satoshidice are no more working from Oct 18? https://www.satoshidice.com/leader-boards/
That looks like they are running out of money, any ideas if satoshidice is a safe place for high stakes?

Not sure but maybe they lost a lot during the recent DDoS attack.
SatoshiDice is hosted with an expensive Swiss ISP.
Fending off even just 1 Gbit/s costs 400 USD / month ... O.o
Many DDoS attacks are magnitudes larger than that. The record is at over 1 Tbit/s.
https://solarcom.ch/en/ddos_protection

Why they choose this expensive host, I don't know. Maybe legal reasons because CH is not part of the EU.
To clarify - that Swiss hosting company is their usual hosting provider, they were using it even before DDOS attack took place?
If that is the case then it is rather money wasting effort on their part. There are a lot of other hosting options outside of EU, most of them is more affordable too.
1011  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 26, 2016, 01:59:37 AM
For now it seems that investing in casino's bankroll is trendy and profitable. But will it always be like that?
I am worried that casino investment might take place of cloud mining as no go investment.
There are first symptoms visible - bloated and over saturated bankroll of some the more popular casinos.

1012  Economy / Gambling / Re: DuckDice.io – introducing cryptocurrency Dice Game! on: November 26, 2016, 01:34:32 AM

That's unlucky, you would win x1100 twice in next 10 bets.
Visited Duck Dice and I was surprised with clean and nice interface, dark theme would be nice addition.
That is not unlucky at all. It is more than expected to happen. I mean, look at the win chance he set - it is 0.09% less than 1%!
You expect to win after 5 or so attempts when setting ridiculously low win chance like this?
1013  Economy / Gambling / Re: Please research new sites before investing in them on: November 25, 2016, 02:30:09 AM
so hard to get good research done when all the sites are run anonymously
It is not exactly right that  anonymous status of casino owner is a drawback here. We don't know who are behind some major/trusted/old bitcoin casinos either.
But that doesn't mean service can't be trusted if full dox of owners is not available. Admins/owners like to protect their privacy in the same way gamblers do.
1014  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is no reason for small price changes, Stop looking! on: November 25, 2016, 02:12:41 AM
I tend to agree with Red-Apple here. Price changes lower than $50 are not that significant when Bitcoin is more than $700 now - it is normal market fluctuation.
Unless I see some market/political/general news and events I can connect to shifts of bitcoin's price until then I will blame small price fluctuation on bitcoin innate volatility.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play Dice with Autobet? on: November 25, 2016, 01:59:42 AM
So I have I question for you autobet users. Have you actually noticed difference between manual Dice betting and autobet?
Do you notice any difference between your win/lose ratio when you use autobet vs. the times when you are placing your bets manually?
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your aim in gambling???? on: November 25, 2016, 01:31:49 AM
Have anyone here actually gamble as form of contemplation game of chances and to learn about different games?
Because I recently started to learn rules of some rare casino games like: Casino Wars, Sic Bo, Chuck a Luck or Three-Card Poker.
And I don't expect to play for money these games anytime soon, I just like to know what they are about.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: November 25, 2016, 01:10:39 AM
Recently I don't have any big losses or situation I want to cry about. Last time when I was angry at my gambling hobby was during Euro 2016.
I placed multiple hardcore level parlay bets then and NOTHING, like literally NOTHING worked. I don't know how many people remember Euro 2016 matches here.
Butt main culprit responsible for my losses were amazing performance of Iceland, North Ireland and poor play of Portugal in early phase of tourney. I was so angry back then...
1018  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (November) on: November 25, 2016, 01:06:24 AM
I like the concept of Monthly Best Gambling Site poll, but I feel like current way of determining the winner based solely on poll results might be exploited.
IIRC newbies still can vote in polls, right? So what keep people from creating multiple newbie accounts, vote, without even posting here and manipulate the score this way?
1019  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to place a Sports bet with Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2016, 01:02:19 AM
Although this guide might feel like sponsored article written for sportsbet.io but it is still piece of good work, with clear decryption and nice screens.
I find sportsbet.io's interface one of the better, cleaner ans simpler in the bitcoin sportsbook field so I guess it is a good site to start your journey with sport betting.
